I called about a Groupon and he said to just come buy it from him at a better rate. So I came up and bought the ceramic tint for all the windows and even the front windshield. I just got the car so the first thing I wanted to do was get it tinted. Few hours later the work is done. I go to check it out and notice a very noticeable scratch on my multimedia screen that was not there before. I immediately go back in and talk to Omar. He says he can't tell if it's fresh and he'll ask his workers, who he warned they don't speak good English. The guy comes out and just kinda looks at it and looks nervous and shrugs and walks off. I told him I guarantee it wasn't there because I was just changing the radio in the parking-lot at his business before I left him the keys and I would have noticed it for sure. He said hold on, to let him talk to his other customers. He was very quick to take my money and sell me on the nicer ceramic tint but very slow to address the damage they did. I ask him if he can just do something so it's not noticeable. He then says, it's a used car, you didn't even notice the other door ding, you probably didn't notice it until just now, I can tell you it's not fresh, we don't use razor blades inside the car, we use towels inside the car, and started rambling and got super defensive. I told him, I'm not questioning the process, but no worker is perfect, but the scratch is super noticeable and was done while at the shop. All I want is to do something where I can't see it. He said he's not a magician and he's not going to do anything about it. It's on a black screen that I look at all the time, there's no way you won't notice a white scratch going across the black screen near the middle that's over an inch long. The scratch is a bright white like it just happened and it's clearly obvious. I've seen older scratches before where the scratch color gets dull and not as sharp. This is a sharp, clean, bright white color scratch that Omar kept mentioning "we don't use razor blades inside the car." I was like "... I never mentioned the word razor blade man...". He rubbed on it trying to make it dull and not so crisp. I paid 350 for a tint job and to be told him a blind liar for accusing his shop that I'm 100% sure they did. Good service! Did my front windshield and they did a great job. Got a 35% with a eyebrow all ceramic. Owner helped me with info and cut me a good deal! What I didn't like is that when truck was given back to me it had a ton of water marks inside and outside which I had to clean myself getting home. They also left a small scratch in the windshield. I came here about a year ago to get my windows tinted and ghost lights on my car.. took about 1.5 hours.. Everything seemed sketchy but I went along with it.. service was done and I was happy .. about 9 month in a small piece of tint peeled off and the next month both ghost lights broke.. Omar the owner said he gave a life time warranty on his product. " if something were to happen, I just needed to have my receipts" So about a month ago I came in. He said it would only cost $25 to get it fixed. Labor charges. But he had a few cars in front of me.. it was going to be a 2.5 hour wait. Funny thing is, I got a group text from a employee (ex employee) saying that this guy does bad business and he scams people. Crazy because that's the vibe I got. When I came in I showed him the text and he said that was his brother in law and he had to fire him for personal reasons. Anywho. I come in today because I actually had the time to wait. Now he doesn't remember saying that and it's was going to cost $150 to get ghost lights fixed/ installed and $50 to get tiny replaced. This is bad business. Guess that employee was right. Omar is a shyster and con man who's only mission in life is to separate you from your money while providing a substandard service. I initially went in to have my windows tinted. Omar said that they were booked solid that day, and offered to call another nearby shop who did get me in, but installed illegal tint on my driver and passenger side windows. After not being able to get my inspection done because the driver and passenger side windows were clearly illegal I returned to Dallas Pro Audio & Tint where I told Omar that the shop that he sent me to the day that they were fully booked installed illegal tint on the driver and passenger side windows and that they were trying to charge me $199 to replace the driver and passenger side windows when their own receipt showed that's what I paid for the whole car to be tinted. Omar tried to upsell me on windshield tint that I declined, proceeded to charge me $130 to replace the driver and passenger side windows with ceramic tint, and right after I finished paying him he asked me to leave him a positive review on Google. I thought that's a deceptive practice for an owner to ask a customer for a positive review before the work had been completed. Right before they closed Omar asked me to follow him into their installation bay and asked me what was wrong with my air conditioner which was on full blast and the knob was stuck and wouldn't turn left or right. I told him that there wasn't anything wrong with my air conditioner when I brought it in, and that the knob functioned normally when I handed him my keys. He asked me to park my car out front and wait for him while they closed the shop, and that we would try to figure out why the air conditioning knob was stuck. We were finally able to get the knob to move, but the knob was damaged and it was offset from the heat/cooling knob and noticeably clicked. I firmly told Omar that my car was not like that before I brought it in, and he tried to deny all responsibility. He said that his guys have been installing tint for over 20 years, that they were extremely honest, and that they did not work near the air conditioning knob whatsoever when installing tint. I told him that he had to drive my car from the front of the shop to the installation bay in the back, but he refused to accept responsibility for the damage caused at his shop. He then told me to come back tomorrow, and promised to make it right. When I showed up the next day Omar completely forgot that I had been there the night before, and changed his tune to deny, deny, deny and that his installers do not come into contact with the air conditioning control knobs at all. This is when I began to get upset with Omar, and I told him why would I pretend that there was damage to my car when there was previously none. The damage was obviously caused while in his care, and now Omar was just trying to backpedal so that he could wash his hands of responsibility and not have to pay to have to repair the damage that occurred in their shop. It got to the point that he realized that the situation was about to escalate to a physical confrontation if he continued to persist that I was lying about the damage, and that they had caused the damage. He offered to order the part, and said that he'd call me as soon as the part arrived in about a week. It's now been an entire month, and I still haven't received a call. Do yourself a favor and check the Yelp and Facebook reviews for the truth about Dallas Pro Audio & Tint. This place is awesome! Took my car in to get the windows tinted and I was pleasantly surprised with how fast they got it done! Not only were they quick but very thorough, making each window look perfect! During the consultation, Amer(owner) showed me the different tints to choose from and made sure to ask me if I had a hard time seeing at night, which I thought was very considerate because I honestly hadn't even thought about that! The store itself is very clean and neatly organized, and all the staff were very professional and friendly! Pricing is more than fair. Got a coupon from my toll-tag points for a discount on tint, so I thought I'd take my car in and get the windows done. Simple procedure, right? Not so fast... At 10:45 am they told me it would be about a 90 minute job. 6 hours later they finally tell me my car is done, but they can't get it started because over the course of those 6 hours they had somehow drained my car's battery. That was the least of my problems. It turns out that while cutting the film for the back window, these idiots went wild and cut the vinyl top of my car with a razor knife in SEVEN DIFFERENT PLACES! Some of the cuts are 4-5 inches long. Hang on, It gets worse... I confronted the owner, "Omar" with the damage, only to find out that he does not carry insurance for damage to the cars he works on. He admitted he used to, but they dropped him for too many claims! I got an estimate from a reputable shop that does vinyl tops, and who'd a thunk it? He refused to pay for the repairs. Was not a fan of my Groupon tint job. Yes the owner Omar was nice and friendly. He squeezed me in to get my windows tinted. Took about 45 minutes. But I paid for the tint job and not the other perks that should come with any good business. I was never given instructions about the windows compared to other tint jobs where they informed me to not roll the windows down for about 3 days to let the residual glue dry (should be told to all customers). But my biggest gripe is the small, but noticeable air bubbles left in the film. I know that today it looks fine, but fear in about a year, my windows will look like everyone else who clearly tried to perform the job them self. Read the reviews before don't wast your time, money, and energy here! I needed a speaker install in my 2020 F150. I had purchased new speakers, amp, and subwoofer. I figured it should be a simple job. I spoke with Omar and he told me "yeah yeah we can do that, whatever you want boss". I left thinking good prices and they know what there doing.. was I wrong. I explained to Omar where I wanted the amp and woofer and tweeters again he assured me it would all be done. So I made an appointment for 10am, was told it was a 4-5 hour job. My truck wasn't ready till 7:30pm. Omar tells me it sounds great they just tuned it! So I get in my truck excited to hear this new sound and it was terrible. Obviously he didn't even listen to it. Omar was such in a rush to get me out he briefly went over what was done. As I inspected my truck, the amp and woofer we're not where I asked to be placed. The tweeters were not even installed. Omar told me there was a bracket in the pillars and they couldn't get to it but then said they need more time, which now that I think about it, probably meant more money. They removed the jack without asking me which defeats the purpose of a 10inch hideaway. I wanted to utilize all the space under the rear seats. I ask about the old speakers in the door panels and Omar tells me they were basically destroyed so thy can install the new speakers. I call a few place wondering if that was true. Several places told me no, it should be an easy change out. I never saw the old speaker dunno what happen to them. I then noticed a bad scratch on my driver side door window in the tint. ( 100% it was not like that when I dropped it off. It's a new 2020 f150 with paper plates.) He assures me he will take care of the tint. I get home and I really inspect this speaker job. The subwoofer was not properly secured to the back seat wall, wires were visible, and scratches to the door panels that were removed..... again this is a brand new truck. Although he did retint all my windows for no charged when I inspected the tint job again there was a scratch on the driver side window tint. The issues was then fixed in a bout 20minutes. I don't think this place has quality craftsmanship or the experience and I would not recommend this place for a speaker job. I'm a big believer in you pay for what you get and I'll take it as a lesson learned but I will never do business with them again. read more

Audio is terrible, they handed the keys to my wife and left for the evening. They don't even itemize their bill to see what we were charged for. There are two door panels trim pieces missing where they access the screws to remove the door panel. From the rudeness, dishonesty, rip off, over 6 hour wait with appoint then still have to wait on your car to be done and the work is terrible. I called ahead and told them I was going to purchase the Groupon they had. Omar told me, just come in and I will give you the same price any percent all 4 windows $89.99. I walked in at 1230 on a Friday. Omar talked to me and told me that I could get the cheap tint for $89.99 but they charge $50 more for illegal "less than 25% in the front". I told him I would go elsewhere and he said ok $89.99 for anything you want. It will be $100 with tax. Ok, fine. He said it would take about 3 hours. The car was not ready until 530pm. I was pretty upset. I got off work at 430pm and went there to wait. When I walked inside, the entire place smelled like marijuana smoke. Omar came inside, eyes bloodshot red and told me he was almost done. When I finally got the car, I opened the door and the car smelled like marijuana. I was even more pissed. During the time I was waiting I purchased a pioneer double din. $200 but online sold that stereo with a combo pack of 2x6.5 and 2 x 6x9 speakers for $200. So, I felt slightly ripped off. The wiring harness is not compatible with my car, the scoche dash kit was so cheap and the provided bolts don't even fit to connect to the stereo. I feel extremely screwed over after spending almost $400 with them. I'm sick. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND JUST GO ELSEWHERE. ITS NOT WORTH TAKING THE CHANCE. Buyer Beware! I would give ZERO stars if possible! I had my vehicle tinted by Dallas Pro Audio & Tint on February 25, 2016 for $120.00 plus tax totaling $129.90 which included a Life Time Warranty as long as you retained the receipt. My tint began peeling drastically on my back window as well as other windows that were bubbling and creasing in the tint, therefore, I took my handwritten receipt along with my original credit card receipt to Dallas Pro Audio & Tint on Monday, July 13, 2020 in which the Owner, Omar Awad, said he did not have the capacity to handle the warranty work that day but to return the next morning at 10:00 am and he would get it taken care of. I returned on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 am as he requested and he denied my life time warranty because he no longer has the same tint I had on my vehicle and further stated that I received a great deal at the time of purchase and it was ridiculous that I was asking for it to be replaced for free. Omar offered to replace the back window tint but that he did not have the same tint that would not match. At that time I informed Omar if he could not offer the same matching tint that it was his obligation to replace all tint to match. Also, he stated that he originally tinted my windows with cheap tint and that he would give me a deal on upgraded tint by charging me $250 to re-tint with the better quality tint. Omar still would not honor the life time warranty which is clearly written on my original receipt. After asking if he was the owner, to which he stated no, I asked him for the owners contact information to get a final resolution as to why I was not receiving my life time warranty as promised. Omar then called the cops to file a No Trespassing Order on me to avoid having to process any warranty work. Omar informed the police officer that he did not want me criminally trespassed from the property and that he would only replace the back window with non-matching tint. Upon returning home to file a formal complaint I read several reviews from the BBB, Yelp and Google from other customers with issues from this unethical business. Furthermore, the owner and place of business smell like marijuana and lack any form of professionalism. Reviews from other consumers also claim the owner/staff were smoking pot and/or drinking on the job. Lastly, responses from the Owner, Omar Awad, on Google Reviews consist of verbiage as "If you got a problem with me personally then come say it to my face buddy". This type of comment speaks volume on how unprofessional the Owner is. Not to mention, the owner, also posted his own BBB review on July 24, 2018 claiming "Best window tinting place in the area. I called to schedule an appointment with Dallas Pro Audio as directed by me Groupon purchase instructions. When I called I was told by Omar that there was no appointment needed. After explaining that I had just purchased a window tint package from Groupon he immediately said "you should have called first". He told me to get a refund and come in to pay the full amount so I could get better tint paper because the thin stuff would only last a year or so. He also told me that he didn't like using the groupon because "groupon takes half the money". When I arrived I told him that i did not cancel it and I wished for him to honor it. I also added that I knew I would have to pay extra for upgrades. He became uncomfortable and told me that he couldn't do it today because he doesn't do Groupons on Fridays; only Monday through Thursdays. I became upset because I had already been there at 8am and come to find out that they didn't open till 10am. When I arrived at 9:55am, I still waited till 5 minuets after for him to arrive, then another 10 mins for him to "set up" for business. Its unfair to me to be browsing Groupon for artwork and come across a great deal on window tinting only to get excited enough to make the unscheduled purchase. It was humiliating to be ridiculed and turned away in front of other patrons because I had a Groupon and the others get better treatment by paying directly. They are not a authorized 3M window tint dealer as described. They have had multiple window tint people quit on them. I have had to go back three times to get my tint fixed on my car. They can't cut a straight line and every time there is dust under my film. The final straw was them scratching my glass and refusing to fix it. Each time I had to wait over 3 hours even with an appointment. Omar is the owner and is a scam artist. He will try to upgrade you to death. I had to finally take my vehicle to Tritek and get if corrected and fixed. Don't waste your time or your money. Oh and if you think you will argue with him don't... Bc he will just call the cops... Meh. They rushed the job (probably because it was close to lunch time) and finished my car in about 45 minutes, way too fast for a good tint job. The windows obviously weren't cleaned very well before they put on the tint (and they didn't clean it after they were done either - fingerprints and smudges all over). Pieces of old stickers were left on and tinted over. There's a piece of hair permanantly on my back window now. Something white was spilled (and left) on the hood of my car. They're kind of shady with the Groupon. First they'll offer to tint the back windows darker for $50 more, when/if you decline they'll ask you to cancel the Groupon and they'll tint the back windows darker for the same price as the Groupon. They do this to avoid paying the Groupon fee (I wonder what Groupon thinks of this?). FYI - If you get the Groupon, don't view the voucher because you can't cancel it once you've viewed it. Overall, it's a pretty ghetto business. I wish I would've gone somewhere that actually cares about the vehicle they're working on. From a distance the tint looks great, but up close you can tell it was a really sloppy job by a crew that just didn't care. read more

I had my windows tinted a few weeks ago. Omar is nice, but gives radically unrealistic time estimates which will really screw you up if you are expecting to be able to plan your time spent. My tint was done incorrectly, bubbles and small scratches on the tint. I called and spoke with Omar, we "scheduled" me bringing my car in to be fixed. I turned up at 11 am, when we agreed I would. I then spent the next hour and a half waiting. They finally get my car in - and do not fix the problem but did manage to screw up the tint on the drivers side window. I show this to Omar, he tells me they cannot possibly fix it now because "He has lots of customers waiting." And asks me to bring my car in later. Update on Dallas Pro Audio and Tint. Now the mgr. Omar is refusing to honor the warranty. He says he will not work on my car because I accused them damaging my car. So if they damage your car and you accuse them of doing that, then he will not honor his lifetime warranty. $160 down the drain, I am going to have to pay to get it removed and replaced. I have already contacted insurance company, my bank (he will not refund my money), the Better Business Bureau, Google, YP, and yelp. Do not give this guy your business. CROOK! read more

Recently purchased a car that had tinting on the rear windshield that was full of bubbles. Gave these guys a call 45mins before they closed to see if they could remove the old tint and install a new one. They said of course, so came by 30 mins before they closed and got to work. Their owner, Omar, was very friendly. Said that they have a lifetime warranty on their work so long as I maintain ownership of the vehicle and I keep the receipt.
