I will never recommend this office to anyone. I have been here for years, it was under a previous name or got new ownership so I thought I'd hang on and see if things got better, but it has not. I have had numerous appointments cancelled the same day as my appointment that have been on the calendar for months. This past cancellation I received by email, luckily I happen to check before taking off work. This is just unacceptable. My husband uses them for his braces and has nothing but trouble with the billing department. He has paid in FULL for services but still gets bills and the billing department won't return calls or help. I definitely recommend looking elsewhere for services. read more

I got scammed by Dalrock Dental. I came in for an estimate for top teeth braces only! I ended up getting a bill for over $500 !!!!! I never agreed to anything , and said I would think about it. I went in last week and told them that I never agreed to be a patient and I am being billed now for over $500! They said they would have it removec! I am still getting harassed on a bill from debt collectors! LOOK FOR ANOTHER PRACTICE, as they said they are only open 1 day a week. Went to Dalrock Dental as they were a participating dentist in my company's DHMO plan. They wanted to bill me $1,250 for a cleaning due to additional charges for deep cleaning. They charged me $250 for two fillings that I should only have paid $50 for due to my insurance. This appears to be a common practice based on other reviews. This office is trying to scam patients and I'll be submitting a complaint to the Texas Board of Dental Examiners. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! SCAMMERS FOR MORE $$$ !!! I've had my teeth cleaned every 6-12 months over the past 30 years and have NEVER been diagnosed with gum disease and that I needed a deep cleaning. The only reason I went to Dalrock Dental is because they're a provider covered in my insurance. We just moved to the area and I was just looking to get my teeth cleaned. During my exam, the hygienist jammed the gum inspection pick tool deep into my gums causing pain I've never experienced. So yeah, by jamming the gum inspection pick tool deep - of course they're going to call out numbers reflecting gum erosion. After the dentist confirmed the hygienist's findings; I asked if I could just have a regular cleaning and he said no, on account of their diagnosis of gum disease. WHAT A JOKE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! The only reason I went is because they are a preferred provider with my new insurance. They called me at work the day of my appointment, after I had confirmed it 4 times, and asked me to come in an hour early for x-rays. I asked why, they already had planned to do x-rays, and I purposely scheduled at 5 so as not to miss work. She got frustrated and said just come as early as you can. Turns out she wanted to leave early. I got there at 4:40. They blamed their computer for losing all of my prefilled information. I had to do it all again. I ended up waiting 20 minutes on the dentist because he forgot he had an exam. He did apologize. But, I left work early for this! The girl doing x-rays seems untrained. She jams that thing in your mouth any which way and it hurts. I've never had this issue before. My husband had the same experience. We have gone to the dentist twice a year religiously and have never had any issues/concerns with our teeth other than one crown. We both went to Dalrock on different days and wouldn't you know it... They find that we both have serious gaps in our gums and require a $2,400 out of pocket treatment plan. Both of ours were within $20 of each other. When the hygienist stuck that pick in my gums it hurt bad. So yeah, they're going to be deep because you've jammed it down into my gum. Several times she would call out a number 3 times when she only poked me once. It's total BS. Two people with NO issues at their last dental exam now require $2,400 each in out-of-pocket expenses. Pretty sketchy to say the least. They do not clean your teeth on your first visit because this is part of their scam. So now when I go back to my old dentist to confirm their treatment plan is a scam and actually get my teeth cleaned, I will have to pay out of pocket. read more

My previous dentist saw no issues last December but Dr Jones found I needed a deep cleaning costing $800. I wasted my time and my HMO-provided cleaning by going to DalRock Dental. Absolutely the worse dental care I have ever had in my life. First time visiting Dalrock Dental and expecting x-rays and cleaning to be done. Check in went well. I was then called to the back for x-rays. The "tech" put a sensor in my mouth that was either too big or she was positioning it wrong. She kept telling me to bite down on the sensor, and I told her I couldn't. After several tries of this, I told her to stop because she was hurting me. She told me she needed the x-rays for the doctor, and I told her she was hurting me, so stop. She left the room she said, to get advice and returned. Since I have a small bone under my tongue, that is why the sensor did not fit, and was told to use another method, which worked out fine. I was telling her something was wrong, and she did not listen to me. The next person came in to measure the space between the tooth and gum with the metal probe. The tech that did the x-rays is now the one entering the numbers in the computer, as this new person is probing and calling the measurements out. The person probing was putting excessive weight on my mouth, which I have NEVER had that happen before during this process, and I told her she was hurting me and I felt uncomfortable. She totally ignored me, asked the other person where she left off, and proceeded to continue this process. I told her to stop, you are not going to continue hurting me, and they both left the room. So, I am now in the room by myself for at least 5-10 minutes and no one is telling me what is going on. I go to the front to see the woman who checked me in and told her I wanted to make a complaint about the service I just received. She told me, she was the manager, and I told her all that happened. Afterwards, she said, "I'm not saying you're lying, but I have never heard these complaints before". No, I'm sorry, I'll check into it - nothing. But she tells me they are working up a plan for future service, and I told her I couldn't wait, and she could text me the information. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I called this in to my provider. No one apologized for my pain and discomfort. When a patient tells you to stop, you stop and try to figure out what's wrong. Don't ignore them, as if they don't know what they are talking about!!! Terrible service!!! read more

I scheduled an appt 2 weeks in advance. I asked specifically if they took my insurance. I also asked for a courtesy call if there was any issues with my insurance. I received phone calls/text messages to confirm my appt. but ins was never mentioned. Once I arrived, I saw the receptionist JUST BARELY verifying my insurance even though I provided the information over the phone. Then they had me change the provider over the phone. THEN I was told they do not accept my insurance. I specifically asked so that I wouldn't waste my time. DO NOT schedule here. I should've read the reviews before even setting up the appt. read more

Dalrock Dental... where to start? Haven't been to the dentist in nearly 5 years, needless to say, I have some problems with my teeth. I finally manned up and made an appointment, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. First off, the atmosphere is so laid back yet professional. Office staff and hygienists are super friendly and knowledgeable. I came in early for a cleaning 1.5 hours ahead of my appointment, they found time to fit me in. Conversation is probably the best I've ever had at a medical office before. From all of my past experiences, I've associated medical professionals as very straightforward and... well...a bit socially awkward. These guys bring not only the dental, but the social skills as well. For real, I'm looking forward to my 6 month checkup, can't wait to hang out with these guys again. I'm so lonely. read more

Dr. Cha is the best around! She made me feel comfortable and she is very gentle. One thing I really like about Dr Cha is that she never pressured me to get something done. I saw Dr Uppal and was told that due to various reasons I needed all my top teeth pulled and get dentures. The office (Jessie) couldn't seem to provide an estimate of temporary and permanent dentures and after 10 weeks I insisted on an appointment only to be told that Dr Uppal had decided not to do my dentures because of my TMJ. So if she were professional she would have let me know that before 10 weeks go by AND turns out I DID NOT need to have my teeth pulled! Another dentist said there were some cavities but they didn't even need root canals and I had some healthy teeth she was recommending pulling. DONT GO TO DR UPPAL!! read more

This is an addition/update to my prior review from April. Once again I am getting hit with high additional bills after I've supposedly paid what I owe. Now I notice that although this office has been on my dental plan for many years (I've been going here for at least 7-8 years) Dr. Jones is NOT listed as a preferred provider. That would have been nice to know. I have spent many hundreds of dollars more than I should because no one told me they were out of scope. The dentists change all the time; Dr. Jones has been there a couple of years but before that I have had 5 - 6 dentists, all who have been on my plan. I have complained to various staff members about this and they always just shrug. I complained earlier this year and was told they would "audit" my account but of course they never got back to me. I always check to see what I will owe because I'm on a budget. If I knew what it would really cost I would not accept their suggestions. And they always have them - things that cost more money, and more money. The one hygienist asked if I wanted to get a cancer screening. "It's only $25 and I like to play with the machine." Are you kidding me?????? I went back in June one more time, hoping it would be better but this is the end. Don't go here - they are blood sucking weasels. read more

I've been a patient for a few years now. The first dentist I had was awesome but she got pregnant and left. Then the next guy came in and started redoing my smile. He shortly left. Now there is a new dentist. She made sure I was very uncomfortable and rude on my last visit. I tried to request an appointment online with out any luck, so I called in. Every time I did I was hung up on as the phone was answered. They called me an hour later with a bunch of excuses. That was the last straw. I get covid effects things but this office has been messing up long before. Find another location!! read more

READ THROUGH TO MY UPDATE: Loved my experience here with Dalrock Dental. Jessie at the front desk was welcoming and so sweet. She also remembered my husband from the week prior! Tiffany was my hygienist and she was so pleasant and explained everything in detail. UPDATE: My first red flag should have been that the first visit in she told me I needed 3 crowns replaced, 1 of those needed a possible root canal, and another tooth needed a root canal and crown and 2 cavities filled) I've been going to the dentist every 6 months and these "issues" have never been brought to my attention or even mentioned slightly in passing. I've had a not great experience with the actual work that has been done... a root canal that took 4 hours and then I was in pain once the crown was put on 3 weeks later. 2 weeks from that point I am FINALLY out of pain after going to an endodontist (and even that process was a nightmare to get the dentist to give the referral) I have mondays off which are the days I can get things done. I had called the dentist office the week prior (day after having crown put on) to be told that I should take ibuprofen and aspirin and let them know the next morning if it didn't get better they would get me in first thing. (I also asked for something stronger for the pain since I was woken Up by it at 2 am that morning) Their first thing is 10 am when I'm leaving for work and I had let them know this when I started with them that the only days I have that align with their hours are Monday's/Tuesday's. (This was Tuesday that I called) I felt very blown off. Fast forward a week later I call the dentist office to get the specialty recommendation I need for the endo I chose and they wrote it up. I walked in to get it and no one questioned or asked anything. That afternoon (the Monday after having the crown put on, im in the endodontist chair and the front desk girl says that it's not the correct referral and she will call the dentist office. 5 minutes later she came in to tell me the dentist did not understand why I was there and she won't write the referral. So now I have gone 1 week without sleeping through the night because I'm woken up anywhere between 1am-3:30 am with throbbing tooth pain. And the dentist won't write the referral because she doesn't understand... when I had already called her office AND been in her office to pick up a referral with no questions whatsoever. I am FINALLY out of pain 2.5 weeks later. I don't like chain dentistry offices and this is why. I have had these same issues with these chain offices that want quantity over quality. They've done a good job giving this office a local sounding name but I will be finding a new place to go and making sure it is NOT a chain. Sorry Dalrock Dental, you've lost a patient. read more

I hate going to the dentist more than anything EVER. But nevertheless I needed to go to the dentist. Made an appointment with Dalrock Dental because it's literally 5 minutes from my house. I couldn't be happier with this choice. The WHOLE staff, from the front desk, to the oral surgeon, was INCREDIBLE. They made me feel comfortable and totally at ease. Very friendly, and excellent work. I will NEVER go to any other dentist office ever again, they actually made me not hate going to the dentist office anymore. So yay for them! And yay for me!! Worst dental visit I have ever had. I came in as a new patient and wasn't greeted or welcomed. The assistant who did my x-rays was so aggressive I had to ask her to stop because she was hurting me. She tried to say it was because the machine was bulky but I have had x-rays done before and know the difference between discomfort and pain. The doctor came in from behind me, said her name and leaned my chair back to begin working. As a new patient, I would expect the doctor to properly introduce themselves and look me in the face. I was told I needed "gum therapy" and some previous fillings redone. I had a long wait for their billing person to work up my plan and when she came in she said she was rushing and did it wrong so she had to leave and redo it. When she comes back, she tells me the "gum therapy" would be $700 plus the other work they wanted to do came up to over $2000 out of pocket. I told her I was just in for a regular cleaning and didn't want to do any other work at the moment and she insisted that they HAD to do the gum therapy and couldn't do a regular cleaning. I left the office with nothing but a sore mouth and disappointment. I will never come back here and would not recommend. read more

Dr. Cha rocks!!! Best dentist by far! I have had major sensitivity & she was the only one able to fix and explain the problem to me! She shows you all pictures on the screen so you can see for yourself and understand what is going on. Also they give free teeth whitening if you take care of yourself and go to all cleanings. Horrible experience at Dalrock Dental Care I had a horrible experience at this dentist the other day. Went in for a cleaning / exam. All they wanted to do was upsell me. They were recommending a deep cleaning and for the most part I do realize I could probably use however my portion was going to be an additional $450.00. Because of the time of year, Christmas bills ETC I asked them just to do a regular cleaning and I would have to come back for the deep cleaning when bills were not so tight. Then I seemed to just get ignored. I have now been here for over an hour and a half and still had not had my teeth cleaned. I had to get back to work and when I informed them I was out of time they told me if I came back I would have to pay another co-pay. I will never visit this dentist office again. If you don't buy their extras they try and sell, they ignore you and won't even do the basics. read more

Scheduled root canal for my wife; opened up and couldn't finish since they didn't have enough tools. They charged a lot; many of the procedures would have eliminated if they discussed with us in advance the cost. Now we have to pay monthly like a car payment. This dentist is young, inexperienced, uneducated, and money hungry. Dr. Wendy Steger only cares about the money and not the patient. She is only interested with over charging the patient for unnecessary procedures so that she can get the most out of pocket from the patient vs. focusing on the actual patient. I was pretty much dismissed from her office b/c the procedure she recommended was not in the budget for us at this time. Requested the procedure that insurance would cover 100% and that's when her horns came out. If I never see this dentist again, it'll be too soon she is extremely unprofessional. I'm embarrassed for the company and brand. She has lost a whole family of patients, 2 current and 2 future patients. I'm going to do more digging into her background to verify her credentials as a matter of fact. Will never return for any treatment and switching dentists. My husband still has a toothache that she never touched or discussed at his visit. All she wanted to do was get him an estimate together for $15,000 that had zero to do with his chief complaint. We need a dentist that cares about the patients health not just their wallets. read more

I agree with Jody T. Totally incompetent staff. Dr. Cha is at best mediocre, my fillings need to be adjusted by my new dentist. Every filling is rough and my bite is wrong now. Worst of all I have been trying to correct the billing since May, it is now Dec, and they cannot get it straight. The manager can't seem to share the info with the Dental Works group that does their billing out of OH and after reviewing everything with him and my insurance I received $500+ refund for over payment back in September. NOW I get a letter in the mail that the OH office put me in Collections!!!! I am in collections for work that was paid for and over paid for! Most ridiculous and incompetent place I have ever worked with. So not worth the pain and hassle! read more
