Pork chops, thin fry and chewy.

Service was great! Cute themed diner, just the pork chops were a little thin and dry. I did show up for the food... I will try again another day.

We have been here a few times now and I am confident in giving it a 5 star again! Service is amazing as it feels like a small Diner indeed! Chicken fried chicken, has browns, eggs and French toast are all phenomenal! Pancakes are sweet so beware in case you don't want to add fruit on the top. Fried Zucchini was so hot and delicious with what seemed to be homemade ranch! Every time I come here I think to myself "why don't I come here more?!" Gotta try it!

I tried Dalrock Diner out yesterday for the first time with a friend. Overall, I was pretty pleased with my experience. While the inside is pretty crowded and probably smaller than your average diner, the wait on a busy Sunday morning was only 15 minutes. I ordered the Border Skillet with biscuits and enjoyed it. Great flavor, and very fresh. Our server was attentive and helpful. Certainly give this a try if you're in the area and looking for an inexpensive brunch!

I like my salad. But I don't feel the most welcomed there. I've actually had a salad from there a few times. Only dined in once though.

Our waitress greeted us as she was busy running around but still said good morning and that she would be with us soon. When she came back she brought waters for us and took our drink order. Our food was excellent!! We ate every single bite. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and I ordered some eggs, a bagel, sausage, and hashbrowns. We are very pleased with the speed of the service as well as the quality of the food! The cooks do a great job! And the waiters I can tell work very hard to take care of customers and the bus boys are also hustling to clear tables as fast as possible. It was all so great! I feel bad we forgot the name of our waitress but she was excellent! She was very attentive and I noticed she was talking to other customers as well and making them smile :) we will definitely be back here again in the near future!

The place is nice inside with a lot of tables and a full bar for cocktails. There were not many options for cold coffee and the bartender attempted to make an iced americano which wasn't great and forgot to bring any type of sweetener for it. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and two over easy eggs. The chicken fried steak needed more seasoning for me but it did have a tang to it. Not sure if it's from the marinade but the tangy flavor was there. The hash browns were nice and crispy and eggs cooked perfectly. What saved the chicken fried steak was the bottle of hot sauce they had at the bar. It was not labeled so hard to tell what exactly it was but it was delicious. We also ordered biscuits and a side of gravy and I felt like that should be on the menu as a dish. The biscuits were nice and soft and the gravy had a lot of flavor. I'd definitely like to come back and try some of the sweeter options such as waffles or pancakes. If you are in the Rockwall area check this place out

Still good, just a bit too crispy. Service: Friendly, but they dropped the ball at the end. Both drinks ran dry, I sat there forever waiting to pay, and my bottomless coffee was not exactly bottomless. A refill or faster checkout would've made a big difference. Prices: I walked out $30+ lighter, just myself. Breakfast/coffee/tip. The vibe is classic hipster cute with nice decor, but it gets surprisingly loud in there. Would return for those waffles, just maybe not on a rushed morning.

When we checked in, we were told the wait would be about 40 minutes. While we waited, we watched five different parties--most with groups of three to five people--get seated before us. I know they didn't have reservations because two of those groups actually asked us how to check in before they were seated. After waiting the 40 minutes we were originally quoted, I went back to ask why we still hadn't been seated. Instead of an explanation or an apology, I was simply told, "It's going to be another 40 minutes." I truly don't want to believe this was a race issue, but I can't ignore how the experience made me feel. If customer service and fairness matter to you, I encourage you to be mindful of how situations like this can come across.
