Pork chops, thin fry and chewy.

Service was great! Cute themed diner, just the pork chops were a little thin and dry. I did show up for the food... I will try again another day.

We have been here a few times now and I am confident in giving it a 5 star again! Service is amazing as it feels like a small Diner indeed! Chicken fried chicken, has browns, eggs and French toast are all phenomenal! Pancakes are sweet so beware in case you don't want to add fruit on the top. Fried Zucchini was so hot and delicious with what seemed to be homemade ranch! Every time I come here I think to myself "why don't I come here more?!" Gotta try it!

I tried Dalrock Diner out yesterday for the first time with a friend. Overall, I was pretty pleased with my experience. While the inside is pretty crowded and probably smaller than your average diner, the wait on a busy Sunday morning was only 15 minutes. I ordered the Border Skillet with biscuits and enjoyed it. Great flavor, and very fresh. Our server was attentive and helpful. Certainly give this a try if you're in the area and looking for an inexpensive brunch!

Food is good and the service is great. Their downside is the parking lot is very limited and the booths are on the small side.

Super friendly welcome from the wait staff and it turned out the owner was working too. Great conversation. Started with the armadillo eggs which are deep fried Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and served with ranch. These things are a weakness of mine and I ate the entire order. Next had a two meat platter with brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage. Sides were fried okra and broccoli. They have their fried food game down. Okra was hot and crispy and well seasoned. Delicious. The broccoli tasted like homemade steamed broccoli and was the exact texture I like. My brisket was super tender and tasty and the sausage was satisfying. I used the spicy sauce which gave everything a kick. Finished with the banana pudding with nilla wafers. Stuffed! Delicious meal and so friendly - I'll be back maybe for when they have live music on a weekend.

My only issue with this place is the miniature sides provided. What most places might use for serving some gravy or other sauce. They use for your sides. But other than that, their smash burger is awesome. Catfish is some of the best around & their BBQ is good too.

With kids at home, we don't get many opportunities for date nights, so when we do, we want it to be memorable and Wade's Landing exceeded every expectation. Our server, Tori, was outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with every dish prepared to perfection. If you're a bourbon enthusiast, this place is a hidden gem. Our dishes- Miso glazed salmon and The Landing burger, the appetizer- the million dollar deviled eggs as well as my cocktail- 'It's 5 o'clock somewhere' were beautifully presented and full of flavor. I have always been of the opinion that they have always served excellent food but had absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant and tonight was evident of that when we complained to our server that she was less than attentive to our table during the evening. We had to flag down the busboy to order our coffee and dessert, she never came to ask us how our food was, she never re-filled our water glasses and on and on. Instead of apologizing, she proceeded to argue with us. I told her to stop or I would ask to speak to the manager. She then proceeded to go get the manager, Breann, co-owner of the restaurant. After waiting for a while for her to show up, we just wanted to leave and took our check to the bar to get the check rung up so we could leave. Finally, Breann shows at the bar up and again, instead of apologizing to long time customers who have spent thousands of dollars in her restaurant, including a $185 tab tonight, she also starts to argue with us and tells us she viewed the camera and that our server came to our table 4 times during the meal? Really, 4 times, she's impressed by that? She greeted us and she took our wine order, after flagging her down she took our dinner order, after flagging her down she brought us a more wine and she brought us the coffee after we had ordered it from the busboy? And she thinks this is adequate service for an $185 tab? She continued to berate us and argue with us and finally told us she would take care of the whole bill and at this point we just wanted out of there, so we agreed and headed for the door. She then proceeded to follow us out on the front porch of the restaurant and continued to argue with my husband. As I mentioned at the beginning, these folks have never understood how to run a restaurant and treat customers. Unfortunately, they have survived because aren't many above average non-chain restaurants in Rockwall. BTW, what's up with the carpet in the front dining room held down with the gorilla tape?
