Waffle fries and a double smash burger--bun, cheese, beef and pickles as the burger gods meant it to be.
    Jon L.

The waffle fries are no longer vegetarian but they are really, really good. They switched to beef tallow, had their own spice mix and "leave them in a little too long" for a perfect and addictive crispness. The smash burger is about as good as it gets, and the perfect pairing. Is it the most attractive building? Uh, no, but who cares when the staff is nice and the food is so good.

Tasty and perfectly cooked smash burgers and some delicious waffle fries are served at dalton's with not many other items on their menu. Though they genuinely nail the thing they are specializing in. You order at a small counter opposite the bar in RiNo country club (which despite its fancy name is a small dive bar with a mini golf course out back) and it is separate payment. The only real option here is 1 or 2 patties. While the burgers are delicious they are pretty pricey for what they are. Though if I am in the area and craving a great burger this is a fantastic choice, but not something I would go out of my way for.

Amazing service, very nice guy took our order and they even brought our food out when it was ready. Burger overall is amazing, cheese is killer, burger sauce is bomb, bun is soft and not greasy. The fries are perfectly crispy and I think they put curly fry batter on them because they are super flavorful! Will definitely be back!

What's my favorite cheeseburg? Easy because I only know one: Dalton's Cheeseburgs. This place is super straightforward in the best way. No frills, just great burgers done right. The menu is tight, which I appreciate--it's clear they focus on doing one thing really well. The cheeseburgs are smashed, crispy-edged, juicy, and packed with flavor. The buns are soft, the cheese is perfectly melted, and everything just hits the spot. I also love the vibe--it's casual, friendly, and unpretentious. Great for a quick lunch, a laid-back dinner, or introducing out-of-towners to something uniquely Denver. If you haven't been yet, fix that. This place deserves all the hype.

A sneaky, hidden, delicious burger spot. Smashburger with cheese pickles and sauce. Simple but done right! The bun is soft, burger flavorful (a little salty) and served with waffle fries that have a curly fry texture. In a yellow building ( the rino country club). Parking available. Bring cash in case the cc machine doesn't work (happened to us). Their ranch is also delicious! Can't wait to come back!

    Fun food well done

Great fun and good food! Really friendly staff and the cheeseburgers were good! Was able to join yet another country club with my lifetime membership there!

Great burgers. After you have one, you'll think about it later. It inside a friendly bar, so expect a bar environment.

When I say that I could have eaten another one immediately after finishing, is an understatement. The sandwich was incredible. The bread was toasted to perfection, the meat melted in your mouth and the dip was incredibly rich and full of flavors. We did share the crispy potatoes lived up to their name and were a good compliment to the sandwich. This is a MUST have when you are in downtown Denver.

We sat ourselves, and a waiter came over to greet and bring us menus. There were tons of different versions of French dip, and lots of their menu items seemed to have Asian influence. we ordered the Karaage, the Saigon, and crispy potatoes. Everything came out super hot and fresh. The Karaage was like thin chicken strips with a batter with subtle Asian flavors (ginger/garlic). The crispy potatoes were VERY crispy- to the point that they were a bit overdone. The Saigon had flavors of a banh mi but with beef. It was an odd combination and I felt like the potion of meat was lacking but the Sandwich still tasted great. The jalapeños added a pretty spicy kick so keep that in mind if you don't like that hotness. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal and the ambiance was very laid back and chill.

Every dish we've tried has been thoughtful and full of flavor. This time the pork belly buns, chili wontons, and Taiwanese fried chicken were probably my favorites. The braised pork rice is another dish I don't think I'd ever get tired of ordering, and the crispy potatoes disappeared almost immediately. We also finished with dessert, and I'm really glad we did. The chocolate marquise was excellent, and the shaved ice was a fun way to end the meal. Three visits in, I still haven't had anything that made me think, "I wouldn't order that again." That's pretty rare.

This seemed to be the opportune time to go. Thursday night at 5:30 and things were already picking up. The traffic in and out was steady the entire time we were there and when we left at 7pm there was a small wait. Service was attentive and plentiful. Probably the one thing that held them back from five stars was a lack of interest in how we were enjoying our meal. Everything came quickly and was fresh and hot but not once did our waiter ask what we thought which is sadly one demarcation between good and great. Did it turn me off, no but it's a note to consider if anyone in this operation reads my review. Bao buns were spectacular. Five stars. Perfect combination of build your own. DanDan noodles were amazing. I'd go back again today for more. Flavorful and easily sharable. Five stars Green beans were amazing. Five stars Fried chicken was cooked perfectly and covered in a crunchy coating that complimented the tender chicken. Lived the hot honey and rice that accompanied the dish. Four stars only because it was messy. Lame I know. I had a gin n tonic with a lime twist that was really nice and we also had macadamia flavored coffee over ice which was also tasty. It was $140 out the door so not a budget conscious meal but worth every penny. We saw the fried chicken and noodles delivering to many tables. The seating ranged from two to six tops and seating at the bar accommodating 10. Great full service experience and on a busy night I would make a reservation.

The prices on everything keep creeping up while the quality goes down. I understand food inflation, but coupled with declining quality I'm just no longer a regular customer anymore. The last 3 times I've gone, the fries were very brown on the outside but not overcooked, indicating the oil was old and needed to be changed, this gives them an off flavor that's not good. When done right, their fries are fantastic, however this is a regular issue now. Also, they changed their burger in the past year, something I used to order a bunch, but not at all anymore. It used to be a grass fed patty and now they call this a wagyu blend, but it's awful and tasteless compared to the old one. Additionally, their wings (for some reason only when getting to-go) are either way over sauced, sitting in a pool of sauce and thus get soggy or they're under-sauced. The issue with the oil is really what gets me though. I'm guessing they're dragging it out longer before changing it to save money, but they're doing it at the cost of quality and now they've lost a regular customer. I may revisit next year, but not anytime soon. Employees are relatively friendly and service is ok, ambience is typical of a wing joint.
