After getting four quotes, I came to realize that each company pretty much has one type of siding they recommend and install. For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

After the continuing issues, we have met with a lawyer and will be filing our small claims Monday, April 29th. I went ahead and also filed a police report today considering others have filed as well. If you are experiencing issues with JP Home Exteriors and you are thinking of filing a police report, let them know that there is now an on going investigation for theft and fraud with the Lakewood PD along with the other reviewer's case in Colorado Springs PD.

Even then, I stuck with them, even if it took until June 2026 for them to actually schedule the work on the roof. They took the downpayment for supplies and then.... NOTHING. After a few weeks, with NO call, text or email, a team delivered the materials but despite 6 separate contact attempts (two texts, two emails, two phone calls) I heard nothing for over a month. I'm now stuck with repairs delayed by six months, rainy weather, having to find a NEW roofer who will have to redo the arguments with insurance, and having to require my funds and get their materials off my property. Honestly, I'm expecting I'll need a lawyer before long. I'm giving them two stars despite my frustrations because I suspect they've had something or someone collapse internally. So, as I said in my last contact attempt, they have my sympathy, but NOT my understanding.
