This little gem was AMAZING!! We had a party of 10 and called ahead so they could reserve tables inside for us. While we were waiting for everyone we got some time to speak with the owner, Sam. He let us know that him and his wife have had this place open for a couple of years now, it is entirely family owned and luckily the business survived the pandemic as well. After having tried most of the menu today I completely understand how they stayed on their feet. According to Sam the spices are proprietary to his homeland in Damascus. This spot may look like just takeout but it tastes homemade. The food speaks for it self, I would be doing a great disservice to try to explain how good it was but let me try: Chicken shawarma plate with hummus, rice and salad - the chicken was so tender and flavorful. I could taste the hint of lemon/citrus they used to flavor it with. The salad dressing they use on the salads are to die for. I wanted everything dipped in that dressing it was so good. Beef shawarma plate with hummus, rice and salad - the beef was also very moist and tender. The marinade used was full of flavor. Falafel - crispy on the outside, nice and fluffy and soft on the inside. This isn't your regular green falafel, the inside was a golden yellow. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from eating too many! NOW, the show stopper, the reason you should come for a visit, the DAMASQUINO BROASTED CHICKEN. This chicken y'all, the best way to describe this flavor is by saying that it tasted like chicken and waffles in one single piece of chicken. The chicken was evenly coated with their breading, not a single piece was burnt. The crisp was so perfect. The chicken was so tender. It was phenomenal. You will never have a fried chicken like this anywhere but here. All of these meals were served with pickled turnips, chili peppers and pickles. The turnips were SO GOOD. I would have eaten everyone's if I could. They even bottle it and sell them separately by the way. Take a jar home with you! I will definitely be coming back to support this little mom and pop shop again, it was so delicious and culturally diverse. Sam was even sweet enough to give us some baklava on the house. Service is key to any business and this small owner business is on top of it. Very nice and friendly . The location it self is a bit tight . Enough to seat 10-15 people including outdoor seating . I personally only tasted a few things off the menu . The chicken shawarma was decent , nothing too special. A bit on the thin side with it came to pricing. The fried chicken also had a decent flavor. Very unique to a middle easter fried chicken recipe. Most of the pieces of chicken were full cocked but the bigger pieces were still raw inside . Big disappointment. We came late on a Friday night, unsure of what to expect, but it was a great experience! Hussam gave us expert recommendations on what to order & the food was delicious. We had broasted chicken, kabobs, shawarma, fries, the works! Everything was super tasty & made hot! Hussam made us feel at home & went above and beyond to make sure our big group was taken care of, satisfied, and having fun! I went here last night with my husband for a place open late for dinner. On a Sunday night, thankfully this place is open until 10pm. My husband and I both ordered a chicken kabob plate which already came with garlic spread, seasoned rice, and pita bread on the side. We got to choose two additional sides so I got hummus and salad. Heads up: kabobs usually take about 25 minutes to prepare after ordering. My husband and I thought the chicken was moist and loved the rice! I thought the salad was really refreshing and loved the acidic dressing. There's very limited seating, but the staff were friendly and attentive. My family and I grabbed dinner from here. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had a falafel sandwich and a chicken shawarma plate. Even my toddler was impressed by the hummus. Not only was the food delicious, but the guys were super friendly and welcoming. Not only did they give us samples of the chicken shawarma, they even gave our daughter an order of French fries! Many friends recommend me to try The broasted chicken, I just tried it a while ago it was amazing, flavoured and crunchy. This is my first visit and for sure It will not be my last. TRULY A GEM. This was on our first suggestions for food in the area while we were at a nearby nursery. Although I was craving falafel, the unfortunately didn't have their fryer on at the moment, but no worries. Food was insanely flavorful and delicious. We got the: 1) Soujook: - I have never heard of this before, but we were sold on how good it was. -It's apparently a Middle Eastern beef sausage, very good and flavorful. 2) Chicken Shawarma: -It was crazy seeing them cut this from their huge slab of meat. -They also slapped my pita bread against the pit to get some of the meat flavor, now that's attention to detail. They sell their pickled beets, so we HAD to get this on both of our orders. It's delicious. Not too sour or acrid AT ALL. Had the best balance of sweetness of pickled vinegary goodness that went well with our meats and the garlic mayo that they have. LOVED that they grill press their stuff. It lets the flavor seep through and makes it so much easier to take big bites. Definitely worth a stop & I want to come back once they got their fryer on! read more

Nice cute little Mediterranean eatery that is located with a not so good look plaza at Glendora. Inside space is small so not very good place for large groups. I tried this place for lunch and only ordered the beef Shawarma sandwich. Although it looked small it is packed with a lot of beef inside. I think it filled me just enough. There is only one person working here at my time here so not much service issue I can describe. Food was tasty and delicious, a little pricy for cost. Fresh and delicious!! I got the falafel plate with hummus and biwaz, which I had never heard of before, and everything was so flavorful! I am always in search of good falafel, and most places lack in flavor, but these falafel were so good, I enjoyed them plain. I usually use a lot of tahini, but the spices in these were unlike any other I've tried, and I enjoyed them as they were! My partner got the chicken shawarma plate with the same sides and said it was the best he's ever tasted. As we were leaving, I asked about a particular spice I thought I tasted in the falafel, and the chef/owner was super friendly and then gave us a sample of one of his spicy sauces with their fries, and THAT was delicious, too! Second time eating here (we were so impressed, we decided to come back). Today, we ordered a half-chicken / half beef plate, an all chicken plate, and an all beef plate. All plates are generously portioned, to include the meat, the rice (included on all plates) and two sides (I had fries and salad). Everything is as fresh as can be. We found this place on Yelp and wanted to try it out. Reading the reviews we decided to call it in because the some of the reviews said it takes about 15-20 minutes for he food to be ready. We ordered the beef sandwich meal with hummus and salad- the meat was so soft and flavorful and perfect ratio with the wrap. The hummus was smooth and creamy and the salad was bright and fresh with crisp tomatoes and cucumbers. The whole broasted chicken meal was plenty for 5 ladies ... the chicken was crispy with great seasonings and not greasy at all ! And the chicken meal was also very flavorful and not dry at all... the best part was the Great friendly service ! The lady making our food was soo patient with us . The service was quick! We also saw people coming In and out, receiving help quickly. We were tended to very well! I really like the self service kiosk. My go-to item is their Greek Chicken Pita with Lemon Sauce in place of the tzatziki ($13). I would sometimes order this with a side of fries, but my husband got it in his combo. The reason I order this all the time is because the pita not only tastes amazing, it's also filling! There's grilled chicken, potatoes, pickled onions, greens, and lemon sauce. The pita is thick and has the perfect chew to it. There is so much flavor in every bite! The fries were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crisp and seasoned well on the outside. The yogurt drink is like kefir but tastes a little bit more on the salty side. Is it good? Come try it for yourself. I saw 3 old men smoking cigarettes and dining outside. I saw the reviews on Yelp and had to come check this place out for myself. The place did not disappoint! The owner suggested the half chicken and half beef. It was served on a nice charcuterie board and the garlic sauce was good. I like it stronger so ask for that. The place was clean and seating was easy.
