Our waitress tonight was the worst. She was slow and kept forgetting our orders. We were seated right at the tables beside the bar. If I could give 0 stars I would. The waitress called me Karen! I could have called her a lot of things but I didn't. That says something about the service here. We will not be back and I'll do my best to tell others about this place. read more

Usually have a great time at this bar. It's like a home away from home however who they hired for Sundays refused to make any food. A group of us had been drinking all day for Sunday fun day and decided on going out to Dan D jacks before we head home for the night. The Blonde tatted bartender made it known that she refuses to make food yet wouldn't allow us to DoorDash any food there as well. We had one drink and left to go to another establishment.. not sure what happened to this place. Used to be a great local "dive" but has changed . The weekends are terrible waiting for a drink when so many people are working, management has changed or is non existent at night. We have been coming here 20+ years and they let Sue go who we always enjoyed on Sunday nights. My husband and I work in the industry and enjoy our "Fridays" which are Sundays and it's not the same. Weekends are worse. We came Saturday night early and left because we waited at the bar and never were acknowledged until the cute waitress who came behind the bar finally saw us and served us. Unless she was back there we never got drinks. We tried again tonight thinking since it's a Sunday night it would be different but we were again proved wrong in a dead bar. There's many bars in the area and we enjoyed feeling more appreciated at Sam's. They always had solid staff, what changed. We will continue to come in the daytime, nights not so much. read more

This place is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!. Please avoid it at all costs. They denied my two friends who are 23 years old because the Secretary of State on their VALID and UNEXPIRED ID's say Jesse White and not Alexi Giannoulias. They kept saying Jesse hasn't been S.O.S for YEARS, insinuating it was FAKE. HE LEFT IN 2023. They turned 21 TWO YEARS AGO. The ID's expire in 2026!!!!!! Once I told him that he said "so you admitted they aren't 21?" HUHH??? What kind of logic is that??? The male bouncers were being extremely condescending and irrational to girls. So not one single person in there is older than 21 and has Jesse White on their ID? Not one single customer or employee?? Yea right. Just say you don't like young women who aren't blonde or don't fit what you want. Mine had Alexi so I went in line just to SEE if they would let me in. This new bouncer did and scanned mine too because it is VALID, yet when I asked him about my friends because he seemed like a more competent person, the original bouncer came and they BOTH triple checked my ID and began QUIZZING ME on where I lived. WHAT?? They inspected and analyzed my completely valid ID trying to find something wrong with it. IF IT WAS FAKE GO AHEAD AND SNAP IT IN FRONT IF ME, WE COULD HAVE SEEN IF THE COPS SAID IT WAS FAKE BUDDY. Were all of these security guards drunk and obliterated on the clock? Mind you were all sober girls who did not do a single thing wrong to subject them to deny us. I didn't want to keep standing trying to get drunk bouncers to listen to me. Then I called the establishment to explain the situation. One man kept saying over and over again "you need a valid Id" and hung up. They are all valid. Then this other drunk girl bartender kept saying "if you call again you will get denied" and hung up. WE WERE ALREADY DENIED. I do not understand the logic. We all live 15 minutes away and came to sing karaoke for a different friend's 23rd birthday AND I JUST FINISHED CHEMO AND IM CANCER FREE. WE WANTED TO CELEBRATE!!!!!! How did I not mention that before. This was an important night for me and my friends. THIS IS NOT A WELCOMING PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY. They even let FRESHLY 21 year olds in because I asked a group of guys who stepped out. I cannot believe this is in our community. So disrespectful. The one bouncer was white with glasses and the other looked tan with a stache. I hope you guys shut down or become better people and stop drinking on the job. All of you. I WISH you broke our real and valid ID's so I could have called the cops on you guys. We could have handled it like that. read more

A very disappointing bar with horrible service and practically there was very little people in here. This is a dive bar that has bad karaoke on certain nights and basically a bunch of local yolks who all know each other and gossip about one another. There is no reason to go here and the ice cream place next door is much better read more

Such a great little spot for some drinks! We've lived in the area for 7 years and this bar is pretty great. Very attentive bar tender, very reasonable drink prices and best of all, the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a bar EVER!! We love this little bar!! read more

Avoid Dan D Jacs unless you want to be hassled by Jacqueline the manager who's obsessed with controlling where you sing for karaoke. Seriously, who yells at paying customers because they don't want to use the stage and be blinded by obnoxious lighting and go deaf from the loud feedback from the karaoke machines. Here's a thought: instead of harassing the people who keep you in business maybe you should invest in a decent sound system and let people have fun and enjoy themselves. I won't return. Take a hard pass on this place. read more

If you're a woman, do not go to this place on karaoke night. I was assaulted by DJ Shawn (Sean) or whatever his name is. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others. It was my friend's birthday and she really wanted to request a specific song. She was told that there were only 3 songs available by this artist. The DJ turned off the mic and did not stream the lyrics for the chosen song. When requesting another song he wouldn't allow the girl to put in her request and stated "I'm really sick of drunk bitches putting in requests." After hearing that, I walked over to the DJ booth to kindly ask for one of the other songs to be played. The DJ got offended and got very close to my face and had a screaming melt down saying how he is sick of women and their ridiculous requests. He was unprofessional and disrespectful. Finally my nerves got the best of me and I flicked him off, in which he grabbed my hand and tightly squeezed and tried to hurt me. I do not recommend this place to any woman. Please be aware. He was also very rude to the male guests. One of the staff members got involved and apologized for the notorious behavior of this DJ. They are aware of this problem. No manager or owner to talk to on site. Aside the situation, the bar staff were friendly. read more

Terrible service. If you are not a regular you get treated like crap. My friend and family paid for all our drinks and tipped well.. but threw us out bc I accidentally spilt my pop. Wouldn't recommend, you can find better Karaoke and service elsewhere. read more

Fantastic place! Awesome Karaoke on Thursday's , Friday's and Saturdays! Everyone who works there is Amazing! New menu and great atmosphere.

The bartenders and waitresses were fantastic and very polite. My biggest issue was the usual Saturday DJ for Karaoke. He was an absolute asshole and extremely rude every time I went up to sing and seemed way too focused on talking to his groupies than to actually be a DJ, totally unprofessional. read more

I came in on a Tuesday night with some coworkers after a shift. We kept getting dirty looks from the bartender. It was only about 10pm so I don't believe they were closing soon. We all felt uncomfortable so we left after a drink. More clientele was coming in during our time and they seemed to welcome them more than us. read more

This is the BEST neighborhood bar that I have been to in a long time! The owners take care of their patrons and welcome any new people to the bar! Karaoke is a staple at the bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. It is shocking on how many people that sing there are really great at singing! There are a lot of "regulars" at the bar and they all make sure that new comers are welcomed and feel at home. They also have open mic nights on Wednesday so anyone that can sing or play an instrument should consider going there! Drinks are very reasonable and the bar is always a great time with all of their 5-star bartenders!!! I love this place!! read more
