Great company & nice people to do business with. I needed my yearly furnace tune up & I refused to deal with a company that I'd used for many years as the employees became intolerable & the management didn't care. I decided to give Dana Heating a chance & I'm so happy I did! The previous company was charging monies & as I found out through using Dana that company didn't do what they were suppose to do & that's maintain the furnace. That company quoted me prices & parts I didn't need (5 yr old furnace they installed). I appreciate transparency & honesty in which Mike from Dana Heating provided. He was very nice, professional, & showed me everything that needed servicing which was the basic maintenance tune up. I'm glad to have hired them & definitely will hire them again for future jobs while highly recommending them to everyone. Also they've been in business for over 35 years! Inspection for leaks and freon charge and charged $600, is this a little too high? Last year the same thing for a freon charge, $600. There was no leaks detected, however they explained that sometimes a small leak may take place. read more

So yesterday, I had an annual A/C checkup. The worker said that the Condenser Fan Motor was leaking some oil and the Capacitor needed replaced. The cost for them to do it would have $885, at least. I had replaced the capacitor a couple of years ago and they should last longer than that, but I told the worker that I would be replacing all of the parts myself. I called Dana Heating, Cooling, & Supply, told them what I needed. They had a similar motor in stock that would fit, but it had 4 wires instead of the 3 wire motor I currently had. I could wait two days for the exact model or get this one. Because it was 85' that day and would be 90' the next, I opted for the similar model and its corresponding capacitor. When I replaced the motor, it fit perfectly. I got everything back in and the wiring on, but the fan wouldn't turn even though the A/C unit made some noise. When I called Dana HCS back, I talked to the owner who asked me to text some pictures to a different number. He agreed that the original capacitor should probably still work and to add that back into the wiring mix. He told me how to connect the wires using both capacitors (I'm a rookie so didn't know I needed both!) and turned on the unit. Ta-da! I still needed to reverse the blade so that the air blew up, but now I have a working A/C unit. It cost me $158 for parts. Thank you, Dana COOLING, because now we can enjoy our A/C!! read more

I wish i could give a zero. 7 years after buying an AC unit from them we find out that Dana did a half job! They did not replace the coil or the filter. BOTH of which should be done when installing a new unit! For the past years our house was never cool as it should have been. After multiple times having a relatively new unit checked (and spending lots of money) another company was able to pinpoint our issue which began with poor customer service! This is a pretty solid place if you do your own HVAC repairs. They carry a lot of stock on the shelves, which is great because usually when you need a part, it's either freezing in your house or sweltering. Last night I realized just my fan in my furnace was running, no heat. I took a peek at it to find my pilot was kicking on, but no main burner. I determined it had to be the thermoswitch ( thermocoupler in most units). I was worried because I have an older Carrier unit, and parts availability might be difficult. I ran over to Dana, explained what I needed and what model I had, and boom- in stock! So, I picked up the thermoswitch with a new pilot assembly and orifice, and also a new safety switch for the door while I was at it. Installed everything when I got home from work, and I now have heat!! Thank you Dana! read more

Was suppose to come out at 9:30 a.m. to fix a boiler. After a couple of calls asking when they would come they said that they would be here at 4 p.m. Person came out and got the heat working for about a half hour. Was told I needed a circulating pump and it would cost $550. The charge for this was $120. I called another heating contractor. Turned out I had air in the line. He charged $100 and heat has been working great ever since. read more
