On Sunday, we said our GOOD-BYES and it was decided we'd seek Filipino cuisine. Jocelyn checked her phone and came up with a restaurant, "FULL HOUSE." So there we went and we had a great dinner. As we walked in, a voice was heard: "WELCOME!" ... choose a table!" We did and in no time, A young man (Zeus) came to us with menus and said we could call him when ready! Well, between Tastic, Neil and Jocelyn, the menu items were selected, and Eros took our order. It was very long before the items began being served to us and we began our mini feast. The restaurant is not very big but it is great. The service is top notch as the Waiters and cooks were very timely. Situated in the "SILVERADO RANCH CENTER", parking is plentiful and the entire area is very nice. The pork karekare was probably the best tasting cause of the karekare sauce but some of the pork pieces were a bit on the tougher side, maybe leftovers from other pork belly dishes? The lechon kawali was the most disappointing. The pork belly was a bit soggy. Also, the dish came out with just the fried pork belly and two sauces (Mang Tomas and a vinegar sauce). We were thinking it would come out with onions and tomatoes or something but nope! Also, I DO NOT recommend the flaming halohalo. They charged $19.99 each and it was not anything special whatsoever. Highly overpriced. Oddly enough, when you pull up the business on Google and place an online order, the price on the app is only $16.99. ???? It is also worth noting that they automatically add a 20% tip charge for a party of 4. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

They served us water quickly as we looked at the menu. I ordered the sizzling pares which was tender marinated beef cubes with a side of garlic rice and an egg on top. My mom ordered the grilled pork chop and lemongrass chicken with the garlic rice. All of our dishes came with a fried egg on top. Everything was very flavorful. Highlight was the sizzling pares with the rice and egg. With the sweet sauce mixed in with the rice, it was perfection. We had a little bit of leftovers for lunch the next day and left satisfied. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness. The booth that we were seated at was by a wooden panel. When the sunlight hits it at an angle, you could see the oil streaks and it didn't seem too clean. Floors were a bit dirty too. A little bit more cleanliness would make the atmosphere better. I can't fully speak to the authenticity of either cuisine, but it's nice to have a comfortable sit-down restaurant that offers more Filipino food options. While there were a few minor shortcomings, I appreciate having another place in the area that highlights Filipino cuisine.

No one seemed interested in checking on guests or providing service. It gave the impression that staff meals were a higher priority than the paying customers. Here's why this ended up being a one-star experience for us: They call themselves "Manila BBQ," but there was no barbecue available. They also advertise as a seafood grill, yet there were no seafood options during our visit. There's a $4 upcharge for lechon belly, but no other pork dishes were offered--no pork adobo, no lechon kawali. If you're charging extra for a premium item, there should at least be other standard pork options included. So instead of 20 dollars it was was $24 per person.  Drinks are not included in the $24 price. Overall, the food quality was mediocre and didn't justify the cost. There's an automatic service charge of 18% for a party of plus an additional 3% credit card fee. We don't mind paying more for good food and a satisfying experience, but this just didn't deliver. Lefty runs the original location while his wife runs the second shop. I have not had a bad tasting meal here and I have been here a lot as this was one of my son's favorite spots when he was going to school out here. Back then they had poke. Miss those days. Fresh pink roses on every table and such a welcoming instagram-worthy vibe. The food was AMAZING. The Bicol Express was melt-in-your-mouth good. The kare-kare had tripe, fresh veggies, and shrimp paste that was chef's kiss. The dinuguan was delicious, and they even gave us a free dessert (I think it was ube flan)! Turns out it's under new management, veteran-owned, and run by some of the sweetest and kindest people. They also have Ilokano and Kapampangan dinner buffets on Wednesdays and karaoke on Fridays. I rarely leave reviews, but this place is the real deal. Definitely coming back!
