We came here two out of the three nights we were in Vegas for a midweek jaunt in September. As soon as we sat down, I immediately felt like home with local Pinoys and kababayans from out of state enjoying the live music by The Playlist, singing karaoke and enjoying local dishes. We ordered the Lomi and Deep Fried Squid. The squid was definitely the winner because we can't stop pulling out the tentacles and dipping it in spicy vinegar. The music was on point and the duo guitarists has a good repertoire of English and Tagalog songs to provide accompaniment for the musically-inclined, the thick-skinned, and the slightly inebriated guests willing to belt out their favorite ballads. Jesse the manager even joined us at our table making sure our drinks arrive promptly and the food to our liking...served to us by the extraordinary Clarisse. 24 hours later, we returned for Ladies Night and situated ourselves at the bar. Jesse, ever the hospitable host, ensured Gimik Republik's party vibes reputation by ordering shots for the bar crowd. Then he pulled me onto the dance floor putting me in the midst of two gyrating ladies, literally sandwiching me. I was going to feign hesitation but the Tequila shot destroyed my inhibitions. Thirsty from dancing, she held my hand and lead me to the bar and ordered a Blowjob. My mind must be in the gutter because I said "not in the bar" and diverted our direction towards the vicinity of the restrooms. I was joking of course and she knows it. And we all laughed about it, including Kevin the bartender who whipped up the shot. This venue lives up to the Tagalog slang term "gimik" which refers to either a hangout or a party, a night out with friends...all of which I experience two nights in a row!

Authentic Filipino Food, Great Service & Great Ambiance. They have live entertainment from Wednesday - Sunday. Karaoke, Dj & Live Bands! You can also book your events or parties here. Highly Recommended

After dinner at a different restaurant, we stopped by with friends who frequent Gimik often. He DJs here on Thursdays. It so happened to be a night where a Filipino artist would be singing a song. The restaurant was packed. I truly enjoyed listening to the band. I've heard a lot of bands in Vegas play music and some are meh and some are good. First, the instrument players were on point and sounded amazing. Now for the female singer, she sounds so good. Better than a handful of female singers I've heard recently. Her energy is amazing.. We had a platter of fried food, lumpia, calamari and some other items. I was not a fan of the food. But, the other table had sizzling dishes that I'd like to try next time. It smelt so good. Overall, great spot to gather with friends and the owner was very nice too.

Celebrated my aunts birthday here and had amazing service from the jump. Alec was super helpful from setting up, making our drinks, and continuing all night serving us! I definitely recommend! The entire restaurant is an entire vibe. Food was great, drinks were amazing! Open karaoke to add to the fun as well! Thank you guys for an amazing time, look forward to doing more parties here

Our go-to spot after work! Service here is consistently good, and the food never disappoints--everything we've tried so far has been solid. The only minor quibble is that it's a bit darker than we expected, which can make it tricky to see your food clearly. Aside from that, it's a reliable place to unwind with friends and enjoy a relaxed evening. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual spot with good vibes and tasty eats!

A balanced review. GREAT KARAOKE place. BAD RESTAURANT. Came here last weekend to get some Filipino food. Was terribly disappointed with the taste factor and price factor. Overpriced, and the dishes are not that good. The original sisig is just downright bad and not even the original! The things to get here that are reasonable: beer and some snacks (like bbq skewers, fried snacks for drinks) but otherwise, the dishes are just terrible. THE GOOD: karaoke and hangout vibes. The staff are just friendly and nice, and the whole vibe just make you feel good. I even sang onstage! I guess just come here to hangout, drink and order snacks stuff, not the actual dishes itself cuz I was disappointed.

Look for Clariz, She's so kind.. Very accomodating... Food and live band are great...

We celebrated our son's 21st birthday and we had a blast. The staff are very accommodating and catered to all our needs. Raffy took care of us all the way. The band that was playing that night was so great - The Playlist. We are definitely coming back and celebrate more events here. The foods are great and the price is very very reasonable. Five star .

    Daingsilog

Great place to eat authentic Filipino cuisine. We ordered the original sisig, daingsilog, chicharon bulaklak and lumpia shanghai, which all were very satisfying. Outstanding service experience. Claire took care of us and was very friendly. She even gave us recommendations for other places to visit around town. The ambiance was also excellent with Pinoy vibe. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend to all who craves some great food and good vibes.

I love GIMIK. This place has the best sinigang since it's sour, crispy pata, and the other food is super good. Has a really cool glow in the dark design. 5 out of 5. The staff is really nice, they also speak Tagalog.

I've seen this location on rainbow a few times and thought to stop by to see how the food is. Location is right by a little strip mall with cafe zupas and a yogurtland right next to it. We came on a tuesday afternoon for a lunch and parking was easy to find. We were greeted quickly and sat at a booth area. The smell of the food hits you as you walk in so that was a good sign. They served us water quickly as we looked at the menu. I ordered the sizzling pares which was tender marinated beef cubes with a side of garlic rice and an egg on top. My mom ordered the grilled pork chop and lemongrass chicken with the garlic rice. All of our dishes came with a fried egg on top. Everything was very flavorful. Highlight was the sizzling pares with the rice and egg. With the sweet sauce mixed in with the rice, it was perfection. We had a little bit of leftovers for lunch the next day and left satisfied. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness. The booth that we were seated at was by a wooden panel. When the sunlight hits it at an angle, you could see the oil streaks and it didn't seem too clean. Floors were a bit dirty too. A little bit more cleanliness would make the atmosphere better. We would come again!

I ordered the beef nilaga, a traditional Filipino beef soup, and enjoyed having the opportunity to find this dish locally and other common dishes, but they have their version of some dishes that I have also not tried before. Most of the staff appeared to be Vietnamese, so if you order a Filipino dish, they may not always be familiar with all the ingredients or details, which can occasionally lead to some confusion due to a language barrier. I can't fully speak to the authenticity of either cuisine, but it's nice to have a comfortable sit-down restaurant that offers more Filipino food options. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. While there were a few minor shortcomings, I appreciate having another place in the area that highlights Filipino cuisine.

I saw a fly on the buffet line, and I also observed a woman in the kitchen handling and preparing food without wearing gloves. Seeing that immediately killed my appetite. Food safety and sanitation are non-negotiable for me. The buffet selection also felt disappointing. There weren't any new dishes compared to my first visit, and several items seemed to be made with lower-quality ingredients than I remembered. The service was just as disappointing. I came during lunch, and several employees were sitting together at a table eating with their hands while customers were walking around needing assistance. No one seemed interested in checking on guests or providing service. It gave the impression that staff meals were a higher priority than the paying customers. I really wanted to like this place because my first experience was positive, but this visit changed my opinion completely. Between the sanitation concerns, lackluster food, and poor customer service, I won't be returning and unfortunately can't recommend it.

It actually wasn't too sweet so we could've enjoyed it while eating the main dishes. I was also disappointed that there was no lumpia. FOOD #19 - Famous Five Star - 9.1 / 10 A combo platter featuring Kalbi Short Ribs, Ribeye Teriyaki Beef, Chicken Katsu, & Teriyaki Chicken. The Kalbi Short Ribs were impressively meaty. Usually, other Hawaiian places serve fattier ribs with scant meat. The ones here were decently substantial & decently trimmed of unnecessary fat. The sauce is thick, savory, with just the right amount of body + sweetness. The Ribeye Teriyaki Beef is similar but in the form of the best cut on meat. No bones, no necessary fat. It's everything I think of when I think "premium beef". I could eat an entire Family Size bowl of this stuff + steamed white rice. Again, the exact same teriyaki sauce is miles above any other Hawaiian place because its thick, umami, & not-too-sweet. The Chicken Katsu is thick + generous in portion. In fact, this plate was a decent portion to satisfy me & my buddy for a few hours before our epic dinner at The Golden Steer. The macaroni salad was refreshing, medium-bodied, & not too creamy. The macaroni noodles were not-too mushy. The salad itself was noticeably less sweet compared to that at other Hawaiian restaurants. The teriyaki chicken was lean & not fatty. Again, the same sauce really carries this protein to a higher level of other Hawaiian restaurants' teriyaki chicken. Like I said, the owners here are putting in a lot of work to make their offerings miles above what other Hawaiian places do. Hot Dog Masubi - 7.5 / 10 Granted, I'm more of a spam masubi kind-of-guy, this was still a refreshing take on a Hawaiian classic. The peculiar redness of the hot dog links is oddly satisfying. A pretty big size for a snack. Rice was well cooked. Seaweed had a nice chew.
