One thing I noticed right away was that the menu posted in the lobby didn't have prices, but the menu behind the register did. We ordered the burnt ends, brisket, mac and cheese, chicken sliders, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket was unfortunately overcooked, although the burnt ends were good. The meatloaf was okay but definitely not the best I've had. The mac and cheese was good, and the mashed potatoes were actually really good. The chicken sliders were just okay, and the cornbread didn't really stand out. Overall, I was a little disappointed because the reviews had me expecting something exceptional. Everything was decent, but honestly, the meal was pretty mediocre for me. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really blew me away either. I'd still give it four stars because there were several good items, the menu has a lot of variety, and our overall experience was fine. However, based on the ratings, I definitely expected more.

The table next to me ordered the watermelon salad and said it was good so I might have to try that next time. I'll definitely come back to explore more of the menu!
