Service - 5 stars Food - 3.5 stars Value - 3 stars Overall - 3.8 stars Overall, the food was good. Shrimp was plump, and snow crab legs were good. However, when we ordered another set of legs, the meat inside was barely half full. It was ridiculous for $54. I showed it to the waiter and he replaced it. The replacement were better in condition, but it got me thinking, how did they know the replacements would be more full of meat? Does that mean they gave us cheap legs first to see if it would pass? And what did they do with the legs that they took back? This almost made me give 3 stars. Anyways, the sauce was pretty much a literal cup of butter and a whole cup of diced garlic. This is why everyone on the reviews is saying it was hot. If you like garlic, this is your place. It will leave your mouth and burp, smelling like garlic for at least 24 hours. The pasta with the sauce is awesome. So after we ate everything, we took whatever was left in the bag with us to-go. A couple of nights later, we boiled some more pasta, threw in the sauce, and it was amazing. You may want to take out some garlic, lol. Overall, it is pricey for the amount of legs you get. The place is small and was empty on a Sunday night. We were the only table most of the dinner. Maybe there is a reason? Or maybe not... For me, it's worth another try.
I wish there was a way to give them no stars. They got me. I ordered lobster rolls to go. And didn't look at them. And didn't open them until I was too far away to make a difference. This is by far the biggest rip off of a lobster roll that I have ever had. I paid $30 for a lobster roll with nothing else. And this is how sad it looks. He said it was a whole lobster, there's no way. Beyond disappointed. Completely ripped off. I wanted to go back and try the seafood boil. But now you've just turned away a great customer.
I was SOOO upset when The Boiling pot closed down..then this place opened up and I went for the first time as soon as they opened on a Saturday afternoon. I couldn't be more excited and the it's totally worth the hype. Since it was my first time, I obviously wanted to try EVERYTHING but my husband and I settled for the Couples package which is just enough for two people. The selection of crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels along with corn, potatoes, and sausages was MORE than enough. It comes with a side of garlic butter pasta and sweet potato fries which was freaking amazing. We had the boil in the original garlic butter sauce but got a side of lemon pepper sauce on the side. We also ordered some non-alcoholic drinks which was fire so I can't even imagine how good their actual alcoholic beverages would be. You get a pair of gloves and an apron - if you're messy like me, you'll need it. The portion was more than generous and the seafood were actual normal sizes. Like the shrimp were the teeny tiny ones and the clams and mussels were all cooked where the shells opened so you're not getting gypped. If you're a seafood lover, I HIGHLY recommend this place. I wish I can come back every week, but this obviously isn't a Wendy's with their dollar menu. Will def come back soon!!
Sooo good. The food and flavor was excellent. I got the friends combo and I'm impressed with the options and what came inside it. I think the serving was slightly on the small side and I couldn't believe the amount for some of the items that were a pound, but I did like that the friends combo came with the crab legs. The Cajun sauce was sooo good. There was so much garlic which I liked and the spice definitely had a kick to it. The sides are not worth it in my opinion. The serving felt small.
I think this may actually be my new favorite seafood boil spot! My friends and I ordered the combo for 3 people with everything (sweet chili) sauce, the peach lychee ade, and the lime lychee ade. The set came with SO MUCH FOOD (snow crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausages, corn, garlic noodles, and sweet potato fries). It was more than enough for the three of us.
I came with my parents and we ordered the couple combo (original Cajun sauce, mild), but it was more than enough for the three of us. I didn't find the sauce to be too spicy, but it does have some kick to it. Just a warning, if you have high blood pressure and/or are on a low sodium diet, don't come here. Or at least don't get the original cajun sauce- I don't know how salty the other sauces are. The sausage was also super salty. The potatoes and corn offered a nice break from the sodium though. I liked that there was a good amount of the different types of seafood. The clams were very chewy, almost too chewy, but at least I didn't bite into any sand so I know they were thoroughly cleaned. I haven't been to the other seafood boil places in the area so I can't compare, but I think this place is worth trying at least once. Make sure you redeem your free slush drink on Yelp :)
Was excited to hear about a new seafood boil place in town. Never can have too many, right? This place was pretty good! I went with a group of 6 and every single one of us walked out full and happy (some also left with souvenirs of fiery and puffy lips). ***In a rush? Skip to the end for my tips.*** For the seafood boil, we ordered: -the couple combo as Cajun spicy with clams, crawfish, shrimp, with an added lobster (came with garlic cheese noodles) -Combo C as garlic butter spicy with shrimp and mussels (came with garlic cheese noodles) -an order of mussels as garlic butter mild They should have given a warning that the spicy was pretty damn spicy. I added a picture that shows what happened to my friend while he was eating the spicy level. If you like spicy, it is a good, yummy spiciness, but if you can't handle heat, it will make your meal pretty miserable. A few people in my group couldn't eat after 1-2 pieces because the spiciness continuously lingered and grew in their mouths. We had to order a mild version for them. So, if you have a low tolerance for spice, I suggest ordering mild. I am terrified to try the extreme level. What I liked about the seafood boil: -The mussels here are so delicious! I usually don't like mussels because of the chewiness or stringiness of it, but the mussels here were tender, clean, and so fresh. -I am a fan of spice, so I enjoyed the spicy level, and ended up with Botoxed lips after I was done. -The sausages that came in the Couple Combo were yummy. -Their garlic cheese noodles were good and help cut down on the spiciness. What I wasn't a fan of about the seafood boil: -The garlic butter sauce was good at first, but it had a hint of sweetness, which I didn't like too much. -Their crawfish were mushy. Usually the shells should be bright and firm, but they all felt and tasted like they were cooked for a very long time. We also ordered the following: -Vongole Pasta - delicious and was very light and not greasy -Fried Calamari - OMG, this is a must! Most tender calamari I've ever had. Breading is a bit different from the usual breading and it was yummy! -Lobster Mac and Cheese - It was okay. Wouldn't get it again if I went again. -Peach Lychee Ade - This is a must, too! It was so good! -Korean Sweet Pancake w. Ice Cream - It was eh. Wouldn't suggest it unless you really like Korean sweet pancakes. -Chocolate Chip Waffle w. Ice Cream - This was really good and we were fighting over this. I wish they had more choices for desserts or maybe more ice cream flavors, which would be a nice way to cool down from all the spicy food. Ooh, maybe banana splits?! I really wanted to try their crab cakes that they labeled as the "best crab cake ever," but they said they were sold out. Will definitely try them next time. Service was friendly, but it was hard to get the attention of the servers at times. Maybe because it was their lunch time or they were understaffed? So, hopefully you're not in a rush when eating here. I would definitely come back again for their mussels and calamari. Tips: -There is private parking, which is in the plaza where Meat Bros and BCD Tofu are located. You should park by Meat Bros and you'll have to walk around the building or through a small walkway to get to the front door of the restaurant, which is on the other side of Meat Bros. -There is a hospitality fee of 20% for groups of 5 or more. -At seafood boils, I always ask for extra gloves ahead of time because there's still some sauce that gets in the gloves. -Please, please remember to be kind to your friends with low spice tolerance or kids and order the mild for them. They need their own separate seafood boil order.
Wowww I can't believe how good this place was. We ordered 3 boils in different combinations, truffle fries, a bowl of rice, hot tea, 2 sodas, Mac and cheese and garlic noodles. I didn't get to take a picture of everything cuz my hands had too much sauce. Garlic butter 4/5 Sweet chili 5/5 the best SPICY sweet chili EVER Cajun sauce 4/5 Theres free parking in the back. You'd have to walk past Chase, then you'll see where this place is. They really need a sign by the street but this place is worth it. We paid around 120 for 4 people which isn't bad considering how much we ordered. If you are more of a spicy palette, these seafood boils will satisfy.
Great spot for some seafood boil and quenching your seafood craving. First off, they had the most delicious oysters I have ever had. The owner said they are. It on the menu because they are difficult to get but when they are available...run don't walk! My table had various things on the menu including the fried shrimp, crab legs, oyster and Cajun pasta. I ended up adding sausage to my Cajun shrimp pasta to give it a little more depth. Although the sausage was a great addition I did feel the flavor lacked a bit in seasoning , especially for a Cajun dish. Once I added some of the spicy garlic from my cousin's seafood boil bag, it made it more flavorful. The owner provides very attentive and hospitable services, greeting all those in the dining room and interacting with everyone so pleasantly and genuinely. I also love the decor. Modern, hip, eclectic and rustic in one.
We wanted to eat crabs like maryland blue crabs without the seasoning but can't find anything like that. So we decided to check this place out since we've never been Service is great! Everyone was friendly and waiter was patient with us cus we didn't know what we wanted. We kept changing our mind and ended up getting the snow crab 8 not 10 (2 cluster) and shrimp head off combo. We also got a side of garlic cheese butter noodles with no cheese. This is usually for one person so we ordered the fried calamari later just in case. We were stuffed and ended up taking the extra calamari home. Anyway... noodles came with cheese so waiter changed it for us. We weren't going to say anything cus it's not a big deal and we told him it's okay but he changed it. Def shows how good service is :) anyway... garlic noodles weren't as good at capt loui. Seasoning was good but super heavy. It is butter and it tastes good but gets too heavy later. The corn tasted like butter and it was sooooo good but meal overall felt too heavy and I felt gross after. Def need beer or sparkling water to help. Spice level- spicy. It leaves the mouth hot and spicy and I enjoyed the spice level.
My family loves seafood. We came here because a close friend recommended the place. And boy, we're glad we tried the place. We started with a crab cake, fried calamari and fried shrimp. We went through all of it in minutes. They were sooo goood.. And then we ordered the Family Combo with additional snow crab and black mussels. It was all worth it. You can tell they were fresh. The lobster was amazing. We forgot to ask the gentleman's name who helped us with the food. But he's so nice! Service was fast, although we went on a weekday afternoon. We will definitely be back, and I would recommend the place to anyone who loves seafood. Every $$ is worth it.
Saw this New Place that Popped Up in Fort Lee. You can park in the back parking lot and will need to walk to Main Street for the entrance. We decided to try Dancing Camaron for lunch. We started with drinks we had Agave Honey Lemonade. Very tasty not too sweet just the right amount of Fresh squeezed lemon juice, with the right balance of Agave Honey. Appetizer. we had the Fried Calamari. Yummm.... Very light batter seasoned with sea salt Entrees. Lobster Roll. Warmed: Connecticut style And Crab Cake over a vegetable cream sauce. Both Entrees was delicious. They do not offer a lunch menu. The menu is all day! We will be back for dinner to try the Seafood Boil and their Drink Menu which looked delicious as well. Staff very friendly and patient. As we wasn't able to decide what to order All very attentive.

It was open seating when we came in, and there was no wait on a Saturday night. We were greeted promptly as soon as we sat and had drinks soon after. The Honey Lychee Soju was a sweet but balanced drink. I split the Friend's combo with two people and this was plenty of food that could've been split between 4 to 5 people, the lobster tail was an added item. The combo came with potatoes, sausage, corn, a side of garlic cheese noodles and sweet potato fries!! Everything was good and fresh. The garlic noodles reminded me of a spaghetti with alfredo, that is made better if you add a little of the seafood boil sauce to it. The Original Cajun with mild heat had just the right amount of seasoning and heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! read more
everything was delicious and id def go back. the garlic noodles were a great side and everything in the bag was cooked nicely and the sauce was good. my one thing was the service. i dont typically have issues, but the waiter just stared at us when we walled in and we werent sure what to do so just started walking to a table until he finally told us to take a seat. and i ordered spicy for my sauce and it came with no spice. i think bc the waiter was working by himself, there was a lot going on for him but i still wouldve liked my correct order. read more

Pretty nice looking place but the crabs were of poor quality. Many of our crabs were coming up empty. I know they can't control that, but perhaps they should address with their distributors. The other issue we had was that when we ordered the mild dressing, it came in super spicy. It wasn't done in error. That's just how spicy mild is. I never in my life experienced the pain I encountered on my tongue, and I take cayenne pepper everyday. My mouth hurt to the point that I wanted to see a doctor. Not sure if I'll go there again. Ordered to go, called in advance to see if they would serve drinks to go, was told yes but when I got there, was told no! Ok fine, picked up my order and was excited to get home to enjoy it. I'm used to mild Louisiana sauce and don't get me wrong, I love spice. We ordered mild but after the first few bites, I was seeking a fountain to cool the burning in my mouth. I read previous reviews and thought they were weak or exaggerating... NO! Cajun Sauce, even mild, is no joke! The calamari is fresh and good, dipping sauces make it more enjoyable. We ordered the seafood bag of mussels, shrimp and crawfish, it was good for the price but the spice killed the whole experience. Don't order Original Cajun Mild if you have even a high tolerance for spice, it kills the whole vibe. Overall, it was enjoyable, would choose Garlic Butter next time but would rather go down the block to Capt'n Loui. The flavors aren't comparable even tho the menu may not be as extensive. read more

My husband brought me here at my request to celebrate my birthday and I'm so happy he did! The food (couple's combo + snow crab) was perfectly cooked and flavorful. It's more than enough food for two -- I think 3 or even 4 people could have been satisfied. We ate until both of us felt stuffed, and still had plenty left over to bring home for my mom. The service was excellent and quick, but we were here on a weekday at 2pm, so not sure what it's like during peak hours. The owner/staff were happy to provide extra straws, gloves, etc., as needed. The tables were already set with gloves, and they brought out bibs with the food. I used to enjoy Capt'n Loui, but that place had little gnats or fruit flies flying around. We had a taste of seafood boil today and there are too many to mention places around my vicinity that we tried that seemed "ordinary". Then we saw Dancing Camaron Cajun Seafood Boil in Fort Lee, NJ and decided to try it out. Parking is very accessible to this place. You have an option to park in the side street or at the shared parking lot behind it. Coming in the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendly wait staff (one guy who I forgot his name, sorry). He gave us the menu but we had a pre-set order already planned out. We ordered 3 drinks; mango slushee, lychee and a diet coke. Their non-alcoholic drinks were delicious. They were sweet enough for us to enjoy it without getting that high-sugar heart burn. Then came the main event. We ordered a pound of mussles, head-on shrimp, snow crab legs, and a large lobster. On the side we had boiled potatoes, corn on a cob, and garlic noodles. The garlic creole-cajun sauce was to die for. Our waiter said it was mild but the heat was on on that sauce. The spiciness was on point that quenching it with our delicious shakes was almost a necessity every 5 bites. Everythin on that plate was amazing. Every bite of it was heavenly. And with the suggestion of our outstanding waiter on how to maximize the flavor of our food made everything better. I recommend this place whole-heartedly and this place is a must-see for seafood lovers. We will definitely come back. read more

We are seafood junkies and always looking for a new place to eat. Thank God my brother from another mother found this place because the food is absolutely delicious. The food is awesome! They opened about a week ago and this is new my favorite spot especially since I live nearby ! My partner and I met the owner and we enjoyed ourselves so much. He was such a fantastic host. Drinks, appetizers, dessert and seafood was A+. We had the lobster, fried calamari, Mac and cheese, garlic noodles, ice cream pancake, shrimp (two sauces we tried garlic butter and sweet chili) sausage, alcoholic beverages- blue lychee lemonade, peach lychee, apple green mojito and Korean bomb beers. We came here on a Friday night around 7pm it was pretty empty so we were seated very quickly. The calamari was really fresh and crispy we devoured it lol. We both got the boil combos snow crab legs with shrimp head off. The Cajun sauce is spicy but really tasty. The sweet chili packed a little heat but still very delicious. Also I would like to mention the service was impecable. The waiter was very attentive he made sure we were 100% happy and satisfied with everything. 10 out of 10 I recommend and we will def be back! read more
