My girlfriend and I were craving seafood boil and didn't want to drive all the way to the city for it, so we did some research and came across Crab Du Jour. It was a little confusing finding the location since it is actually inside Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, you just need to ask for the seafood boil menu. Staff was nice, but that really is the only good thing about this place. The seafood boil itself was pretty bad.... We ordered the family combo which came with 1lb snow crab legs, 1lb shrimp, and 1lb clams in the garlic butter sauce, medium spicy. There was no flavor at all and the clams tasted a bit rubbery... Some of them were not cleaned out properly so it was sandy as well. With french fries, a soda, tip, and tax, the total came out to about $65, which isn't terrible compared to other places. But I would definitely drive a little bit further next time for better seafood boil read more

I came for the seafood boil and it was horrible. Snow legs were small, mushy and watery. Shrimp were mushy and so were the scallops. The flavor was very bland. This is definitely the worst boil I've ever had. It's located inside an all you can eat buffet and I wonder if that played a role in the taste. This review is based on my one and only experience with this restaurant. I used Door Dash to order a fried oyster po' boy and I was very much looking forward to eating it--until I saw it. This was a fried oyster sub. Po' boys are made with a crusty French baguette, not a hoagie roll. The oysters should have been fried in a batter containing cornmeal--these were fried in a flour-based batter. This is why they were soggy and made the bread soggy. The restaurant really shouldn't claim to be selling po' boys if they can't even be bothered to find out what a po' boy actually is. I'm not sure I even want to give them a second chance on any of their other menu items. This Louisiana ex-pat isn't interested in faux Cajun food. read more

This place shares the same space as a Hibachi Chinese buffet but the service is great and food quality is high, definitely a diamond in the rough. The fried oysters were so perfect, crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. Crab boil is delicious and great quantity. The buffet in the space seems really popular as well, will come back to try it. read more

I always give a place 2 chances, this might make me changed my mind. Both times I ordered crab boils from here they were totally inedible, unpalatable, gross separated sauce and the crab tasted like a walk in, was mushy and old tasting. 2nd time I got food poisoning. Whoever is running this place does not care in the least about maintaining any standards. It should be shut down. read more

Ordered the combo with snow crab legs & Dungeness- no spices. Cooked absolutely perfect. Have never had the meat be cooked correctly in the "body" when ordering legs before, has always been watery, mushy, and tossed out- but not from here. Was really more like ordering a de-shelled crab, tons of perfectly cooked meat. Was good enough that my Mom ordered it for her dinner the next night passing up on her beloved steak she always gets when we're in town lol. I ordered the fried calamari, cold oysters and make your own combo. The fried calamari was bland and soggy (but didn't fault them for the sogginess Bc we picked up). The cold oysters were fine. Nothing great but decent to eat. The make your own combo was disastrous. I ordered 1lb crawfish, shrimp, black mussel, half a pound of sausage and I paid 31 dollars EXTRA FOR 1 lb SCALLOPS. I got medium crab du jour sauce. It was the most disappointing thing I have ever tasted. The sauce had no flavor. It was extremely bland- we had to add extra salt to make it palatable. And I paid 31 bucks for scallops but only got like 6 small pieces of scallops!! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I've had this place twice now and it was disappointing both times. Popped in on a Sunday and got a couple kinds of snow crab. Pricing was reasonable and service was fast and friendly. Sadly the crabs were overcooked and really not edible. That was very disappointing. Hopefully it's just a one time thing. I'll try them again when I'm in the area. read more

Friday, October 23, 2020 @ around 4 p.m. party of 3. We walked in and they check out temperature and had one of us leave a name and number. There was sanitizer at host station. We were escorted into the dining area to left of buffet and offers a table with chairs or a booth. The ladies chose the booth. Server asked us for our drink order and said " enjoy the buffet. For the time we arrived there was a nice big variety of food. The food was at proper and a nice temperature to eat. Soda and tea was refilled as we requested it. Used plates and any other items on table that were used were removed so, we could continue to enjoy the food and conversation. We never felt rushed and we felt we were attended to without feeling bothered or imposed on. There was also sushi rolls available which I forgot to take a picture of as well as sauce cups to mix Wasabi and soy sauce. They make the rolls as the patrons take them so they are not sitting out too long. There was a nice steady flow of patrons during our visit and the staff was very pleasant and approachable. So, if you are in the area and want a reasonable priced buffet with a nice variety of foods...pop in and try this place out. read more

So we came across this place today and apparently it had just switched over from being a buffet. I got the king crab legs and a lobster tail. She got shrimp Lobster and blue crab legs. One star is way too much for this place. I am saying this because we visited this restaurant one week after eating in a different location , so it was easy for us to compare. The servers do not speak nor understand English, and they never ask how you're doing. The worst is the food was cold and not tasty at all, the sauce that came with the shrimp has a taste of old butter or margarine that gave both of us a heartburn. I ordered another plate of shrimp with a different sauce that has no butter, it was horrible. I would not recommend this to anyone to waste money on tasteless food. With my respect to all people who gave two or more stars , maybe they didn't get a chance to compare with other locations. This place is extremely underrated! First the crabs are delicious and even tho this is a seafood place, the buffalo chicken wings and Cajun fries are some of the best I have ever had, they are seriously better than other places that are strictly known for just chicken. I ordered on Grubhub and tipped 16% on the SUB TOTAL which is what you're supposed to do. There were $10 worth of delivery/service fees the restaurant charges on top of the sub total that I'm not including when I calculate the tip. When my food arrives this NASTY woman calls to SCREAM at me that my tip was really bad and how they lost money on the delivery? I didn't know what she was talking about, I thought maybe they were coming from really far away, so I look up how far of a drive it is and it's 10min down the road, 1 turn, and all they had to do was throw the food in a plastic bag. The food tastes good. However, I was not happy with my lobster tail order. It was definitely not a 1/2 lb tail other than that there was little meat inside of it. I also mentioned I wanted a change to my crab meat fries order by making it cajun. They did not do that ( Even though they allow special orders with extra charge) I ended up giving it to my husband. I went to Philadelphia last week and ordered the takeout seafoods from this store with the recommendation from my friend. The Fried Shrimp Poboy is so crispy. The clam chowder is very thick and fresh. What made me write this review is their service. The staffs were wearing mask and were very patient. Had an order delivered, which one of the orders they delivered incorrectly. Their boil sauce was just a remixed version of butter and another ingredient, however, the worst of all is that half that bag included old ingredients (ex. All the corn was rotted). After searching for seafood in this area. We found it! At first if your looking for it, just walk past Sally's and it will be there. It's worth the price, I got about 1 pound of crab legs and and 1 pound of shrimp. My boyfriend got fried oysters with fries and crab meat. Everything was great. This place is Amazing! My wife and I always order the Family Catch deal! The food is very good and delicious. It definitely reminds me of Southern seafood taste.
