I ordered a large peach oolong tea with lychee jelly, 50% sugar, less ice, lunch special 4 piece sweet chili wings w/ fries and for my coworker a large fresh lemon green tea. Came here for a quick bite and ordered the popcorn chicken. It was pretty bland overall, with a strong hit of white pepper that kind of took over. The chicken is very chewy... I felt like this was partially my fault on the choices. I ordered the honey pineapple fried chicken, fries, the Taiwan pork over rice and their black sugar bubble tea. The pineapple fried chicken was a bit funky to my liking. I didn't really taste any pineapple flavor more like a sweet cream of some sort. The meat was cook through perfectly but just the flavor seemed off. The fries looked like the ones you get at shake shack. Sadly the quality of it wasn't fried so great. It wasn't even soggy where you can still munch on. Seemed like it was fried once and dried out and double fry to give u that weird dry sandy texture inside. The Taiwan Mince Pork over rice was not too bad. I would definitely suggest to eat it fresh. We had too much food and I left it the next day to microwave it. Only to realize they put that cold seaweed salad inside. Which didn't taste great warm.... But that's fault. Overall the dish was good. The black sugar bubble tea didn't have anything special to it. Tasted like any instant tea mix with 0 sugar flavored. Overall I would have to try again. Visited on a whim and ordered the Eel- don and the sweet potato fries. I know, I know - they mostly do chicken and boba but we weren't in the mood for it. BTW: It's a no frills takeout place with limited seating. Regardless, they had good service and the food actually looked like the picture on the menu. The sweet potato fries were crispy but not burnt, they seemed to sprinkle some kind of sweet powder on top to make it even better. I had to write a review because the meat was so dry and tough that it felt like I was eating jerky. I've never had pork belly taste so dry and stringy. pork belly is supposed to be fatty, so it's almost impossible to ruin it. The fried chicken was super tough and hard to chew. The meat just is not fresh. The color was much darker than it should have been. I hate to leave such a bad review, but I hope no one else gets such a bad meal. I spontaneously stopped in for bubble tea when I saw the Grand Opening banner, but I was definitely excited to see a robust chicken menu. I'll be back for that! The bubble tea menu isn't the largest in the area, but there are some unique combinations. I splurged for their family tea, which included brown sugar and cream. Great fried chicken in little neck! The batter is cooked to the point where it's crispy / flaky but the meat is still juicy and tender. The lemon pepper and grandma flavors are amazing, I've come here a few times now and grabbed a 6 piece and have left satisfied. WOW fried chicken , I love their popcorn chicken it is sooo good. The popcorn chicken is super crispy. The staff is very nice and friendly. I like their boba a lot you can alternate the sugar. I don't like it too sweet. You can let her know! They have a lot of options on their menu. Next time I come I hope their taiyaki isn't sold out. It's a boba taiyaki and they have other flavors. I ordered two drinks: white peach jasmine green tea and a pearl black tea. Both tasted good and tasted comparatively to the main bubble tea chains like Mogee or Coco's. They seem to still be getting comfortable with juggling orders and making the drinks, but they were super nice and attentive! I would definitely come here again! The food was average, the drinks were good. This place is self serve but the cashier was very nice and friendly. The tables and chairs were dirty when we went but it was around 5pm so i guess a whole day of using and since its self service im guessing there is not one wipe the tables and chair. But its a very cute place. The chicken wings was flavored good and the drinks were delicious( you get to choose sugar level). The fries were good but if they put some seasoning like in the menu photo it would make it look better. The redbean taiyaki wasnt good, I wouldn't order again. but i would definitely go back for drinks and try the popcorn chicken. Last note, since I ate in, it would been nicer if they served with plates instead of togo boxes. But i agree it is more convenient if it was in boxes and people decide to go or stay. read more

I was delighted that this restaurant opened up, especially in an area without a lot of snack options. I hope it's here to stay for years to come. The drinks: they have less options than a traditional bubble tea shop/franchise, but they have all the staples and then some. The quality is pretty close to what you'd get from any of those locations, so its pretty good. Whole fried chicken: I had the soy garlic chicken and it was delicious. The breading was crispy and evenly coated, and the sauce was very balanced. The chicken felt a bit small though. Chicken wings: the spicy wings didnt have sauce but that didnt dimish the taste or texture. Popcorn chicken: essentially taiwanese salt and pepper chicken. It was not too salty and not burnt at all. My only complaint is that it didnt come with a sauce to dip it in. Overall, I am very happy with this additional to the available food options in the litttle neck area. Got the chicken skewer+ takoyaki combo. The chicken skewer is so juicy and flavorful even without sauce! The takoyaki is always so good and crispy. All of their drinks that I've tried are good (regular bubble tea, white peach green tea, and cake mango cream). The tea flavor is really strong and tasty for their tea drinks. I had high hopes for this place because their menu is similar to Korean fried chicken and I love all Korean fried chicken places, plus Boba! But I was disappointed by the quality. I would give 3 stars only for the food but I decided on 4 because the lady who helped me was really nice and they take all payment options. I got half soy garlic fried chicken, wings and fries. Everything was already soggy by the time I got home (I only live 5 min away). Fries were all stuck together. They also forgot the sauce for the wings so they were bland. The soy garlic sauce was very tasty but the chicken was just too soggy. Korean fried chicken and their fries stay crispy for days in the fridge! I also got Taro with fresh milk which was good, milk was foamy, already sweet enough even with just 30% sugar. I hope they will keep improving their chicken and I'll try back later! read more

As a guy originally from the south, fried chicken is something that's pretty special to me. I was driving into the hospital for work but had to stop to get gas and saw this place across the street and thought I'd try it.... I was in a bit of a rush, but decided to go with the half fried chicken. I wasn't ready for the 'what type of sauce?' question so I jumped on grandma's as my choice, as my grandma's was the first fried chicken ever I tried. It was told it would be about a 15 minute wait and I ordered a jasmine Boba tea as well 30% sugar. The food came out in under ten and I couldn't wait to open the box so I jumped on it while driving. You guys, this fried chicken rocks! I'm so happy that I had it fresh and hot. The breading was lightly golden yellow from its fry session and it's seasoning made me extremely happy. Grandma cooks with red chili flakes, ground chili powders and some other deliciousness in the background that I cannot place but I'm sure is familiar to enthusiasts. The tea was refreshing to accompany the mild 4-5/10 heat of the chicken. I love this place. I'm so glad that I stumbled into it and I can't wait to try some of those other flavors. read more

Stopped by impulsively after seeing this place had just opened. The fried chicken is really excellent and deserves 5 stars. Sweet chili chicken is more spicy than sweet and super juicy and crisp crunchy on the outside. I think they put a light batter on the wings? It has a really thin crisp shattering shell and is so delicious. Fried fresh to order so plan to wait for about 20 min for your chicken. Popcorn chicken is also really delicious and crispy. Mango milk is pretty good, glad to have that as an option in the area. The only thing I didn't like was the red bean taiyaki. Not crispy at all, was all soft and the filling wasn't very good.
