I absolutely love that. This restaurant has an area where you could see different scenery on the screen. My kids absolutely loved it as far as the service our waitress was very attentive to us. The ambience is not bad either. I also ordered some of their specialty sushi like the volcano roll, and it was delicious as well. Sushi tastes fresh without a fishy smell or taste. The soup options for the lunch combo are the typical soups like wonton, miso, hot n sour and things, if u order from a regular Chinese takeout they don't give such options, parking is a bit hard on Jericho and especially since it's next door to the Italian restaurant. Used to come here when it was more of a crab boil place which was excellent! It's now more of an Asian fusion with Chinese, Japanese and some Thai specialties. Very impressed with the menu with so many different options and excellent dishes to choose from. Not to mention the prices are decent. For my 1st time, we tried the Thai spring rolls, scallion pancakes, hot & sour soup, all delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Also had the pad Thai which was delicious and I was tempted to try some sushi appetizers or rolls but I knew I would be full. I just got some sushi from the lunch special and it came with a gigantic sweet and sour soup plus fortune cookies and wonton crisps- all of which was much appreciated. However, the sushi was quite subpar. It tasted (relatively) fresh but I think the quality of it was lacking. I do know that Mann Sarka does have quite an expansive menu aforementioned and maybe there other items are better. First impression visiting Mann Sarka was great. I walked into a clean restaurant and was quickly greeted and led to my table. The restaurant is spacious and tables aren't closed together like some places. There is a section of tables that is surrounded by projectors with changing live sceneries which is pretty cool. My table ordered the crispy chicken wings, spicy Szechuan peppercorn chicken, crispy red snapper, and chicken fried rice. The chicken wings had an interesting flavor. I think they added curry powder and even though they were fried, they weren't greasy. The spicy Szechuan peppercorn chicken was a bit salty for my palette. I believe this can be corrected if you opted for more rice than Szechuan in every bite. The protein to vegetable ratio was balanced and the heat level was on point. As for the snapper, while it came out piping hot, I thought it was over sauced and too sweet. If I order it again I may just ask for sauce on the side and bring the spice rack. The mongolian beef was was a huge portion with lots of veggies; can't wait for leftovers tomorrow. The lunch special roles offered a wide variety and were freshly made and delicious. We ordered take out and had the crispy chicken and shrimp with walnuts, Chicken Pad Thai, the Honey BBQ ribs, and Fried dumplings. Shrimp were great--not greasy at all, and chicken not overdone. Pad thai is a favorite and it did not disappoint. Both Apps were also delicious. Dumpling fragrant and juicy, not overly doughy, honey ribs great flavor. I really enjoy this restaurant. I remember when they were initially a seafood restaurant however they remodeled and revamped and now serve Asian cuisine. The waitress was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. We were drawn to trying the Super Bowl drink for 2. It's a fruity alcoholic drink that is not strong and looks cute. It reminds me of a drink we have had before, the blue Hawaiian. For appetizers my husband and I had the calamari, wings, and steamed shrimp dumplings. Dumplings were your typical steamed dumpling along with the dipping sauce. The calamari was very good and obviously fried in a wet batter which gives it a lighter feel along with a spicy sweet chili dipping sauce that I enjoyed. The jumbo wings were a decent size, fried perfectly, and once again excellent flavored batter. We also ordered some of their sushi. The dragon roll, hurricane roll, kamikaze, and volcano roll were all delicious. We took home entrees that we ate the following day.
