Food was good, service was good, price is average. The only disappointment was they no longer serve it as a set where you can put everything in at the table but they said some customers dont like it. But i feel its a very nice traditional that should be kept.

Good place for a warm bowl of soup. Plenty of food in your bowl. The chicken wings weren't bad either.

Different sides shown but it was already in the soup

New addition to the neighborhood and it's a cool concept. According to the previous locations, it was described as Chinese banchan with all the little dishes of add ons for your noodles. It's almost like a deconstructed ramen where you can control the cooking and the amount of additional condiments. This was not the case. We were very excited to try it but that was not presented to us at all. We were expecting a boiling pot of broth where you can put the side dishes as you wish and the protein and then the noodles (for 10 seconds, hence the name) so it wouldn't be soggy. The bowl came fully cooked with all the stuff in it already. I think people came for the novelty of it and that took away from the experience. The decor is very modern and the seats were wide and comfortable. I noticed they sat most tables with young families along the wall tables with the bench which was definitely for the best with the very hot pots of noodles being passed around. We ordered : Beef brisket noodles in bone broth - the broth was very rich and the food inside was very salty because of the addition of preserved veggies and the meat sauce made it very oily. Sliced fish noodles in golden Broth - the server said this was mildly spicy and it was not the case at all. Even my husband that eats plenty of spicy food was sniffling. There were so many tables around us that ordered the same broth and was either coughing or sniffling from the spice. Chinese sausage - nothing special, looked like a hot dog but tasted lighter? Chicken wings - very crispy and flavorful At the end of the meal, they give the yogurt drinks with the check.

If you're looking for boiling hot soup look no further. Very simple menu but very hot soup! Perfect for a cold day.

If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, white-tablecloth restaurant serving consistently good Chinese food, this is the place. Tonight I brought a friend who is visiting from Europe. As soon as we walked in, Irma, the manager, warmly greeted us and seated us right away. Irma is always so gracious, and attentive. She has a natural way of making every guest feel genuinely welcomed and remembered. My friend ordered a lychee martini, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We shared half a Beijing duck, steamed Chilean sea bass prepared two ways, crunchy seafood fried rice, and finished with ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. Eric and Miki were our servers tonight--attentive, professional, and pleasant throughout the evening. The entire team, including Eric, Miki, Alex, and Johnny, is always welcoming and attentive. My husband and I dine here almost weekly, and over the years we've brought many family members and friends here as well. Moonstone has truly become one of our favorite neighborhood spots for authentic Chinese cuisine.

Two friends and I went to dinner at Suko Restaurant on Middle Neck Road. When we arrived, I asked if we could sit outside, and the owner had no problem with that. While we were enjoying our meal, one of my friends mentioned that the edamame needed a little more salt. Seeing the owner outside, I politely asked if we could have some salt. To my shock, he suddenly started yelling at me and told me that I was being rude. At first, I thought he was joking, so I responded, "Can you imagine how rude I am to my husband?" His response was completely inappropriate and offensive. He said that if he were my husband, he would slap me on my behind over and over again in a sensual manner and that I would enjoy every moment of it. My friends and I were absolutely stunned. When I asked him to stop and bring us the check, he then said that "you Jews always give me problems." A few minutes later, after I told the waitstaff that I intended to share my experience on GN Mommies, he came over with hot sake to apologize. He even offered to refund our meal, but I declined. I don't want anything from someone who makes hateful remarks about Jews. After living in Great Neck for 40 years, I have never experienced anything like this. As a Jewish resident, I was deeply offended by both the inappropriate sexual comments and the anti-Semitic remark. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

Menu is very limited with the protein options though with a few choices of noodles (spicy, ramen, or soup versions). They also carry poke bowls which I have yet to try. I did enjoy my beef over rice very much. Thin slices of beef, super tender and delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which was drizzled onto the beef as an au jus. And it came with half an egg, pickled radishes and broccoli. Another dish I enjoyed was the fish and cabbage hot pot. That was served with a bowl of rice. No noodles. Even with the spice level at "one pepper" rating, it was too much of a kick for me. But those that like spicy will enjoy it just fine. The fish pieces it came with were generous sized portions and this bowl was loaded with vegetables. Wood ear, mushrooms, cabbage, sliced white radish, and bean curd skin. It also has a few slices of spam (which I did order extra so I'm not sure if the normal is two slices). We also tried the pan fried pork gyoza which was perfectly fried on each side. Nice color. Taiwanese pork as a side comes with one pc per order. The fried chicken appetizer could use a little more spices but the chicken was so tender and very juicy. I liked it a lot. It does come with a dipping sauce which helps but I didn't use it much. All in all a good spot for take out but the menu will need to be expanded in order to have longevity. Sadly it didn't look busy each time I came to pick up. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Long Island Restaurant Week win!…read more My best friend and I came here for Jade Eatery & Lounge during Long Island Restaurant Week and WOW -- everything was so delicious. The prix fixe menu gave us so much food. Every course came out beautifully presented, full of flavor, and honestly more than enough to leave us satisfied (and then some). From the starters to the entrées and dessert, everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is perfect for a night out -- stylish, relaxed, and great for conversation. This was a girls' night, but I already know I'll be back for a date night with my husband. It's that kind of place. Highly recommend, especially during Restaurant Week -- but definitely worth visiting any time. Can't wait to come back!

The food is probably one of the worst Asian fusion places I've had and I honestly feel like all of the money goes into presentation instead of actual quality. I've been here a few times and for some reason, have been around people that ordered takeout from here a few times so I've given them a chance more times than I should have and they have never delivered. The drinks are okay, definitely another one of those "presentation heavy" style drinks for some simple cocktails but I wont fault them for that. The real problem here is the food. I've ordered a few of their noodle dishes and it's honestly impressive how they manage to avoid having any flavor in their dishes. Like, I dont even know how you can get shrimp to taste like nothing but they've definitely done it here! The chicken I've had in their dishes is without a doubt frozen and if its not flavorless, its definitely rubbery and about as appetizing as eating a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Aside from the fact that their portion sizes are way too small for the prices they are charging. If you want Indian food, there are plenty of better options on the same street and same thing if you want Asian food. If you want to impress someone for about 5 minutes, take them to the actual restaurant, stare at some fish, get 1 drink and then high tail it out of there cause even the fish deserve better food than what they serve here.

The service wasn't spectacular but wasn't bad. All the rolls and the hot foods were top notch, have no complaints regarding that. Why not 5 stars? I've been to countless buffets and all buffets include dessert. Well, this buffet does not. If you want dessert, it's an additional charge. I just felt it was odd not to include the dessert because it seems to be an industry norm to do so for ayce buffets. Is it a deal breaker? Definitely not, but, just come prepared to leave without dessert or to spend a bit more just for dessert.

We ordered only one round of sashimi and speciality rolls and a bunch of kitchen items for my kids. Our main server never really came to check with us so we pretty much gave additional orders to the staff collecting our plates. No dessert on the menu unfortunately . Pricing : for adults given the selection I can accept the $38 price however it is Not worth the money if you do ayce for young kids . But what missed the mark for me was the "room for improvement" on a few things. The ramen was decent, broth was not packing enough umami for me. The extra noodle portion was ample. Overall the ramen just lacked that oomph factor but it's a decent noodle soup otherwise. The other item was the poke bowl we ordered. It sounded great on the menu but arrived a bit disappointing. The bowl was only half full and skimpy on the rice and ingredients in general. While it offers so many choices and includes a variety of items in three categories - it doesn't justify the portion. I believe you get more at standard poke place. Now onto my sashimi deluxe. It came with a bowl of rice but not with miso soup. I realized it when I got the bill. Many places have entrees that come with soup or salad (my bad for assuming). Overall food was good so no complaints there. I just wished the proportion was to par. On that note, I've ordered from them many times for home delivery and they are very good with packaging and delivery times. Despite my rating on this visit, it's still a solid spot to dine in.
