Pls read it in the tune of "I will survive " by Gloria Gaynor - I was afraid of hot spice Ok here it goes, music please! First, I was afraid, I was petrified, kept thinking, I could never eat, without water by my side. But then I got brave and took a bite, how can this be wrong? Then took another bite and I learned to get along It was so good! no no I survived! I will survive! Thank you thank you very much! It's very flavorful, we got it delivered n packaging was great. Eat person got a cute bag so there was no confusion. Try different broths, veggies n proteins. Be brave and order spicy broth. Go ahead. You will survive

I've been here twice so far in the last few months! The first time, I tried the enjoyable spicy soup, with the fatty beef (package A) and my boyfriend got the dry hot pot. I remember leaving thinking that it was ok. But when I came back again, I tried the tomato soup and my boyfriend got the sichuan fragrant vine pepper soup and these two were muchh better! I'd go for either of these soups next time. I also found out you can swap out 2 ingredients in the package for other things. Portion size is pretty big, I think I'd be able to eat this for lunch and dinner honestly. There's not many places like this in bayside (if any?) so definitely a go to if I'm in the area!

Ordered the package A with tomato soup and another with dry spicy pot. The tomato soup was pretty good and the dry pot wasn't bad but thought the soup was better. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. You can also add additional toppings for extra $. Overall I enjoyed the food and it hits the spot when it's cold out. Only thing I didn't like is the food being served in all plastic cause the soup comes out super hot. Good spot if you want something quick and craving spicy!

I was always curious about this place and finally decided to try it. I ordered via DoorDash delivery so maybe my experience would be a little better. They gave me the wrong order; lamb instead of beef. I'm not a big fan of lamb so I bet beef would have tasted better. The rice noodles were not the best quality and stuck together in the container so it didn't taste as good. However, portion size was good and packed with flavor. Mild spicy is still pretty spicy in my opinion! Maybe I'll give this place another try one day.

This place is legit! No frills, straight to the point, and great flavors. I love a spicy soup and this place delivers. Ingredients taste fresh and service is quick as well. Last time i passed by the guys behind the register recommended i choose one of the packages rather than individually choosing toppings. They said it comes out to be less expensive because you don't end up paying extra for your soup base. Plus, the toppings included in the package come out cheaper as well. They were 100% right! I opted for the first package and decided to substitute the beef for pork, but also added some extra toppings and it came out to be a few bucks less expensive. I appreciate them looking out. Other reviews have mentioned that the portions are a lot and tbh they aren't necessarily wrong. I could see how one soup could feed two people easily. Also, expect to pay around the mid-$20 range for a meal at this spot. Of course, it all depends on how much you add on. If you live in the neighborhood I would highly recommend trying this place out. Certainly going to become one of my most frequented spots on Bell.

    Combo B takeout
    Jennifer M.

I was craving mala tang on a Saturday night and decided to try this new place on Bell Blvd. I ordered combo B, which includes fatty beef, squid, and vegetables, for takeout/pickup. The bowl was packed with lots of toppings and it was very tasty. It was a larger serving than I anticipated so I ended up only eating half. This place definitely hit the spot without the need to travel all the way to downtown flushing. I would most likely order again if I'm ever craving dry pot or mala tang.

great place to get spicy dry pot in Bayside! I usually get the vegetarian spicy dry pot and add additional veggie ingredients. also get medium spicy most of the time, has a good balance and very tasty!

Ambiance: 5/5 The ambiance is modern, spacious, and lively without feeling overcrowded. The restaurant has a sleek setup with comfortable seating and a clean, upscale feel that elevates the typical hotpot experience. The soup bases are actually better than Haidilao, which I wasn't expecting. I went with the trio pot because it felt necessary. We did the bone broth, beef tallow (medium spicy), and coconut chicken. The coconut chicken was my favorite. Slightly sweet, really clean, and light. Very comforting! It's perfect for veggies like cabbage and tofu, and it comes with chicken that you add in yourself. I'd order that again without hesitation. There's a wide variety of options and everything tasted fresh. The DIY sauce bar is solid and has everything you need, but the surprise was the dessert station. Being able to make your own dessert at the end was a nice touch and actually pretty good. Service was attentive throughout. Jeremy took care of us and made the whole experience smooth. Overall, strong spot. I'd come back.

Menu is very limited with the protein options though with a few choices of noodles (spicy, ramen, or soup versions). They also carry poke bowls which I have yet to try. I did enjoy my beef over rice very much. Thin slices of beef, super tender and delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which was drizzled onto the beef as an au jus. And it came with half an egg, pickled radishes and broccoli. Another dish I enjoyed was the fish and cabbage hot pot. That was served with a bowl of rice. No noodles. Even with the spice level at "one pepper" rating, it was too much of a kick for me. But those that like spicy will enjoy it just fine. The fish pieces it came with were generous sized portions and this bowl was loaded with vegetables. Wood ear, mushrooms, cabbage, sliced white radish, and bean curd skin. It also has a few slices of spam (which I did order extra so I'm not sure if the normal is two slices). We also tried the pan fried pork gyoza which was perfectly fried on each side. Nice color. Taiwanese pork as a side comes with one pc per order. The fried chicken appetizer could use a little more spices but the chicken was so tender and very juicy. I liked it a lot. It does come with a dipping sauce which helps but I didn't use it much. All in all a good spot for take out but the menu will need to be expanded in order to have longevity. Sadly it didn't look busy each time I came to pick up. Staff is attentive and friendly.

I normally…read moredon't like places with many prices, but since our daughter chose it so we enjoy with her. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.
