Short rib is really good but bit pricey. The rice is bit dry. My favorite is spicy lemon grass dish.

I've been here couple times. The restaurant looks ok. Sometimes its smell is not really good. They have 3 waiters, sometimes 2. They are busy and can't take care of customers on time. My friend and I were here for dinner. We had to stand for almost 5 minutes waiting just for a staff to realize us and arrange a table for us. Food usually takes long time about 15 minutes to be served. Sometimes 20 minutes. Their Vietnamese noodles soup is good. It actually is better than Pho L'amour. The taste is more real like it's cooked from cows born (I'm from Vietnam so I can realize it easily). I had try different kinds of noodles too but the Pho is the best. Price is ok. We were in town for a parade and stopped in for some pho. The food I have to say was nothing memorable. We initially wanted to go to L'amoir Pho but they were closed so this was literally one minute away. They got busy fairly quickly after opening hours which was impressive to see so this place must be doing something right! Our server Ian was incredibly kind, patient and personable. Craving some pho so I made my way to Danh's. Parking can be limited bc it's a rather small lot for many stores lined up together. I also had trouble finding it because I didn't see it clearly labeled anywhere. I got the Combination pho in regular size which was humungo jumbo. I don't know what the large would look like. Broth was decent, but the meats were sliced too thick so they were very chewy. Noodles were good though so I was pretty satisfied. I also ordered spring rolls which came in 4. I only ate 2 to save room in my stomach for the rather large regular size pho. The spring rolls were fresh but didn't have any flavor. Shrimp were cut on half so I couldn't really taste it and it was just ok. Service was a little slow but it was also busy for a Saturday night. I got Thai tea which was really good. They are offering curbside and delivery during COVID-19. Curbside typically seems to take about 10-25 minutes to be ready. I just moved to the area and was so happy to find a place that makes Vietnamese Bun and handmade wontons! everything is so fresh and tastes amazing! I was a little disappointed to find out the Yelp menu pics are not up to date(they no longer serve Satay Chicken) likely because the owners don't use yelp. however the current menu has a lot of great options. read more

100% 5 star Thai here in the Port City. I strongly recommend the Tom Kha with rice. The aromatic soup has layers of flavor from top to bottom. Some of the best I have ever had, and easily the best in Shreveport. The service was fast, friendly, and unobtrusive - my water was never empty. It's not the best Asian food I've ever had, but it was decent. The menu has cream cheese fried wontons on it. Don't be deceived, they only carry meat filled. The egg rolls were good, but had a fishy flavor to them. I had a Thai dish (Pad Se Eww...might be spelled wrong). The pork was amazing. But the dish lacked the saucy flavor depth in used to having with the dish. My sons "fried rice" was just steamed rice with veggies and chicken thrown in. It was bland at best. He didn't like it and he ALWAYS loves friend rice. My husband had the T24 which was a seafood dish. It was more of a bell pepper dish. He picked them all out and seriously the plate of bell peppers was bigger than his food plate. The girls got beef lo mien and they enjoyed it. We will be back to try the Pho, but likely nothing else. We really enjoyed this spot for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. Asked the wait staff for their favorites and they recommended the Gua Kha, Young Chow Fried Rice, and Spicy Coconut Shrimp w/Java Rice. It was amazing! My husband absolutely loved the coconut shrimp and the Gua Kha was delicious, like lo mein but much more flavorful. The wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful, brought us broth to try and explained all the food options. Very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back! read more

Danh's used to be our favorite place but I think the staff has changed. Something is definitely wrong. And getting a to go order is absolutely impossible. They even had a young boy that looked to be about 9 or 10 helping up front. You'll be waiting more than an hour. I'm so upset that they've gone downhill in just a month or two. read more

Good Thai food. I wish they had green papaya salad-som tem, the panang curry was pretty tasty , the spring rolls were yumm and they egg rolls were really crunchy. I traveled from South Arkansas to Shreveport just to eat here. It did not disappoint. I had the Chicken Yellow Curry and my wife had the Shrimp Fried Rice. We started off with an appetizer of Fried Wontons. Service was amazing..... fast, friendly and knew what to say when I asked how spicy my dish would be. My wife loved her meal and mine was absolutely scrumptious!!! As usual, the portions were gigantic! I managed to get almost all of mine finished but my wife didn't come close. Been here only a couple times but the food is pretty good. The atmosphere has room for improvement but the food is pretty solid. They have a variety of Vietnamese dishes that you don't normally see in Shreveport. The pho here is better than the other phos in the area. The broth has a lot of good flavors but the meat is always so tough and chewy. I asked my friends for some authentic Asian cuisine and they brought me to Danh's. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, Saigon pancakes, spicy basil shrimp and spicy lemongrass chicken. Basil chicken and satay are great! If you like Thai or Vietnamese food this place is a must in Shreveport. Keep in mind that Thai or Vietnamese food is rare to find here. But this satisfies the desire and the prices are reasonable. Access is on a main road so very easy to find. read more

Just tolerable fair here. It's not bad, but it's certainly not good. It's also walking a borderline between dirty and filthy. Preservatives are noticeably forward on the palate. As far as authenticity goes, it's likely on par with Panda Express. But for the simple reason that Panda Express tastes good, and is meticulously clean - I'd rather have had Panda Express. Red Curry Chicken, Orange Skin Chicken and Basil Fried Rice are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! We always get fried rice instead of steamed and I swear it makes the meal perfect. I've been eating at Danh's since 2010 and as long as their doors are open, they will have customers because my family loves it!
