I agree with what has been said here that Dr. Naim is thorough, knowledgeable and kind. But there…read moreis a lot more to him than just that. I met him in Northridge hospital ER exactly a year ago when he took care of my elderly mother, admitted with a recurrent upper GI hemorrhage. She had been scoped before, and no source of bleeding had been identified. We had almost lost hope in obtaining a valid diagnosis let alone stopping the bleeding. Providers had given up on my suffering mother and were treating her like a hypochondriac... Then came that young yet fearless Dr. Naim. He acted like the person in charge. He is not someone who will accept missing a diagnosis, and this is a trait so rare nowadays. He studied my mother's extensive imaging history. He also called me and explained elaborately his assessment and plan to me. He is a natural teacher. He scoped my mother and found a 3-mm gastric ulcer that he clipped, and we never saw a trace of that again. So thankful for Dr. Naim's care of my mother who soon later passed away for an unrelated reason. Physicians need to remember that how they treat a patient may be the last act of mercy or battery in the patient's life, and one of the last memories the patient's survivors are left with. God bless your hands Dr. Naim.

Dr. Sach has an excellent bedside manner and immediately put my parents at ease. My dad underwent a very stressful colonoscopy after his primary care physician found a positive result on his bloodwork. Helen went above and beyond to get him in as soon as possible despite their busy schedule. As soon as Dr. Sach reviewed the results and determined it was a false positive, he immediately let us know. By coincidence, I happened to be on the phone and heard the entire conversation with my parents. As a healthcare provider myself, I was truly impressed by Dr. Sach's professionalism, compassion, and bedside manner. My mom and dad have not stopped talking about how wonderful the entire experience was. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Sach and his office. Thank you for taking such great care of my family.

All the front office people are very kind and helpful, Dr Sach is very patient and professional and has a very kicked back & calm personality. I was feeling very hyper and wanted to explain a lot of problematic situations, I was experiencing. He eventually calmly got me to listen to some of his concerns and answere his questions about past symptoms. Then he explained what he thought I should consider. And I felt very relieved to meet a very calm doctor.

One of the single most bizarre office visits I have ever experiences, and it was for my 12 year old…read moreson. Dr. Collins speaks in short, clipped sentences, seeming both rushed and dismissive at the same time. She becomes exasperated if you don't automatically comprehend her quickly uttered sentences. For example, she asked in rapid speech: "Does he sit?" I answered, unsure of her meaning (and wildly uncomfortable after a few minutes of her demeanor) "I suppose he sits before and after school." I thought it was a physical fitness question. Then she said, almost angrily: "No. Does he sit on the TOILET?" I laughed to break the tension, but the entire thing was really uncomfortable. The worst part is that my son grew more and more tense until his eyes were huge, and when she left the room for a minute he said to me, whispering: "She's mean, I wanna go home." In the end, we learned absolutely nothing from the visit. Also, the office staff behaves just as Dr. Collins does, acting as if you are really bothering them. They deal with you in a manner that is incredibly rushed, and they are very bothered by answering any questions. Strangely, we were their first patient of the morning, and there was no one else in the waiting room as we left. I urge you to find someone else with a bedside manner (especially because she deals with CHILDREN, and even as an adult the experience was awful), this visit was overwhelmingly bad in every way..

Her follow up is excellent - I cannot iterate how much I appreciate the zillions of emails back/forth where I described my daughter's poop over and over. She made sure to help us parents realize how much our daughter's personality played into this and the behavioral components of gastrointestinal health in small children. She is thorough, direct but kind, and excellent at what she does. Thank you Dr. Collins!
