He was responsive, easy/straightforward to work with, made us feel comfortable during the shoot and was very personable. I really appreciate his easy going personality and he made us feel comfortable during photos and gave us really good poses/pointers. I loved that he would show us little snippets during the shoot to show us how the photos were turning out as well. He was so kind, friendly, professional and all the great things you want in a photographer capturing your special moments. I believe he finalized edits and sends within 3-4 weeks and I can't wait to see. Bonus was that he sent over more than 10 sneak-peaks within 24 hours!!! This was so awesome and we were able to use right away to announce our marriage. All in all, so impressed with Justin. He's a gem and I'm looking forward to continue using him for our future shoots!!

My husband greatly appreciated Justin's recommendations for photo ideas. For our wedding, Justin and his second photographer were nothing short of amazing. The photos made me appreciate the venues in ways I had not thought of. Justin was able to turn around two photographers' and 10 hours worth of photos in 2 weeks. We were very impressed! Justin has a way of making people feel comfortable. That was true of my husband and me, as well as our wedding parties and families. The end result was amazing photos that we love, and our friends and family have told us look great. We are so happy we got to work with Justin and his team!

Overview: Yesenia has been an amazing photographer. We have…read moreloved working alongside her as she is so warm and inviting and has a great eye for amazing pictures. We first booked her for Christmas photos and then again for maternity pictures and most recently for newborn pictures. Yesenia works with your ideas and with her photographer's eye makes your dream picture come to life. I will continue to book Yesenia for my photography shoots and she is the first person I recommend when someone is looking for a photographer. Safety: As a mother, I have taken extra precautions during this pandemic so I was skeptical at first to book a photographer- but Yesenia has always ensured we feel safe as she creates a safe environment. She has kept her mask on for every shoot we have had with her, she disinfects all the items before use. Even now that she is fully vaccinated she keeps her mask on and constantly cleans her hands. Christmas Shoot: I first booked her when she was offering a Christmas mini in 2019. My husband, son, and our dog Moo showed up to the session at a park in the city. Yesenia was invited and warm as she helped us pose alongside the props she had. Also noted was that she was wearing a mask and disinfected the items we used as props in front of us before the shoot. I loved the pictures she took of us for Christmas that for the first time in a long time, I sent out Christmas cards! Pregnancy Shoot: I did not think I would ever have another child so when I became pregnant in 2020 I was ecstatic & quickly knew I wanted to well document this journey. I reached out to Yesenia right away, she congratulated me and told me when the most ideal pregnancy period was to take maternity pictures. I booked a spot for I was about 34 weeks pregnant. Before the shoot, Yesenia called me to discuss the color scheme, pictures I wanted to recreate, family portrait options, and the details of what I needed to take to the shoot that day. After our call, she sent me a detailed list of what to expect during the shoot and how I could prepare. When we arrived at the studio she made us feel comfortable as we took family pictures and then more intimate pregnancy pictures. My pictures came out so good everyone was in awe at how beautifully Yesenia captured that moment. Newborn Shoot: So of course I reached out to her again when my son was born. And as always she was great. She had everything in the studio prepared for our pictures. Yesenia even takes extra steps to ensure the newborn is comfortable the entire shoot. During the shoot, Yesenia was extremely calm and patient as she helped us pose and dress our son. Our son was asleep just about the entire session because he was so comfortable. I just received the raw images of this shoot and as always I am not disappointed. I cannot wait to see the final versions of these pictures =)

Initially we had a little tiff, because the unedited pictures were very normal and we were expecting more, but she assured that we'll be very happy with the final product, and WE were very happy with the final edit, except one picture where due to lighting, some eye shadow correction was needed and that didn't happen.

Booking and finding the studio was an easy process, since they sent a text on the booking date with pictures of where to enter in the building. The studio is really clean. Before we stepped into the room, everyone had to step on a sticky mat to clean our shoes. Appreciated it to keep the photo room clean. Once you are inside the room, there are chairs, props, backdrop, the camera, a monitor to see yourself before taking the pictures, and the monitor with the photos after you clicked it. We were blown away with the lighting! Prepare your poses beforehand. We had a Pinterest board of the poses and went through them during our session. Time does fly by quick. The owner walked us through the photo selection process. It was nice to have a few printed photos to keep while the rest of the photos were sent via email/Airdrop. I will be a returning customer :) Highly recommend BYME studio

He has only grown in his craft and truly has a gift for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we walked through a timeline of what we needed and Tam recommended that we tailor our package down from a 10 hour package to an 8 hour one since we wouldn't have getting ready photos, didn't have a bridal party, and opted to just dance the night away once 7 PM hit. I really appreciate that he doesn't shy away from making recommendations based on his experience and what your unique day will look like. The day of, Tam and the second photographer, Mike, were at the AirBnB early and helped my then fiance and I stage a first look photo. We also had an opportunity to take individual photos, photos with his family and also his college friends. Given how rainy the weather was that weekend, I was a little worried, but Tam and Mike were not deterred. They provided multiple options with attention and care paid to making sure my long dress stayed as clean as possible. I was also thankful that they directed us through poses because we definitely had no idea what we were doing, lol. After these initial photos, they met us at the church we were getting married at and took photos of the venue and of my side of the family. During our initial call, I asked Tam about his advice for how to not get our pastor in the first kiss frame. Tam remembered this conversation and made sure to note that to the pastor so that he would be able to get a clean photo. Group photos followed after the ceremony and then they headed to the venue to get cocktail hour shots. Since we didn't have a wedding party, a lot of things were candid. At one point I thought about greeting the tables during dinner but we ended up opting out. I later found out from our guests that Tam and Mike were really proactive and made sure to ask for group shots whenever they could. Before dancing started, Tam and Mike discussed pulling us aside at around 8 PM to head outside into the rain to get some nice photos with clear umbrellas and a strong flash. However, around 8 PM, there was no getting my now husband off the dance floor and we scrapped it. I really appreciate Tam and Mike's flexibility with us and ability to offer suggestions, but also respect how we were feeling at any given point. Before they left, Tam gave me an estimated date of when we'd get photos back which I really appreciated. From start to finish they were a real pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend Tam for weddings, family photos, glam shots, etc.

To give you some background, Kent and I are the kids who had awkward school photos and being the center of attention is not comfortable for us at all! We were apprehensive for our first photo shoot with him- not because of his skill at all (we saw his portfolio and really liked his work before booking). Well, all the worry was for nothing; Tam is super professional and easy to work with. He even coordinated the best time for when the natural light was just right. Super bonus points for being able to capture some great shots of our fur babies- it can be hard to do! We had lots of laughs throughout the whole thing and ended up with loads of beautiful pictures. On top of that, he had the pictures ready that same day. We were looking forward to having him photograph our wedding after this first experience. Once the pandemic hit, Tam was flexible and understanding when we had to change our plans. He worked with us to ensure the best outcomes for everyone. We have heard horror stories about vendors regarding unexpected changes due to Covid-19, and felt SO fortunate to be working with Tam throughout this experience. When our long-awaited wedding day finally came, Tam was a superstar. He was efficient in coordinating the appropriate people and poses. Everything was easy and comfortable, just like our first session. No complaints. Pictures ready the next day! We have recommended him to our dearest friends and family for their weddings, and he will be photographing at least two other weddings we will be a part of. One being my baby brother and future sister-in-law's, in just a few weeks :). If you had any doubts before, I would say, just do it! You will not regret choosing Tam to photograph your special occasion.

Super knowledgeable regarding the requirements of multiple passports of different countries. Kind of pricey. Wished they had the ability to take photos other than just for passports in store. Great quality. Loved how if you ask for advice, they aren't afraid to give it to you or send you to someone they know. Hashtag connections! Blown away by the magnitude of/number of customers coming in and out of the store. Different films available for purchase. Black and white is more expensive than color... When you call and ask where to park...they suggest Grocery Outlet (which is directly across the street) but that you should not exceed 1 hour. If you don't want to risk it, there's metered street parking as well. Why not 5 stars? The "welcome in" and "good bye" near the door is super annoying. Rather have "ding ding ding." Takes awhile to develop (specifically speaking for passport photos) but great quality nonetheless. Not much of a waiting space/area or a place to stand/sit (can get stuffy real quick).

They were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, so we got to know them over the course of the year leading up to our wedding in August 2025. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. We definitely plan to keep in touch with them for future photoshoots! :) TL;DR: You should have booked A Tale Ahead Photography yesterday!!
