I am compelled to write a review for this very delicious, romantic spot. We were heading down the road to another place when Daniella's caught my eye. I always disregarded them as they have "cafe and market" in their name. I assumed sandwich and bakery. We decided to pull in and discovered a full restaurant, patio, and bar. We decided to sit at the bar as it was last minute and there were empty seats. Joanna, our bar tender, instantly greeted us and got us some delicious cocktails quickly. My cosmo was one of the best I had. We asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. The caprese salad was a plump delicious heirloom tomato with delicious pesto, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The arancini was a cheesy risotto in a bolognese sauce that my husband couldn't stop saying "fantastic." Same with me. We ended up splitting the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection. Oh, and I forgot about the delicious warm bread and parmigian oil that was to die for. Service and food are 5 stars. We are going to come back again and again!! Loved it. read more

Order an loaf of bread, because you want to make sandwiches tomorrow with it, while eating the portion of bread that comes with your dinner item tonight. 3. Pick up order to find they've not included the portion of bread that comes with the dinner item and only given you the loaf you paid extra for. 4. Oh my gosh what a find!!! I dropped off a load of laundry at the laundry mat and needed a coffee. I did not expect to find this beautiful café! I was blown away by how beautiful it is on the inside and out. The staff is incredible, they're all beautifully dressed and beautiful souls. They're incredibly knowledgeable of all of the items and have great suggestions. The bistro seating is adorable and very comfortable, it's so chic. The pastries are a delicious as they are beautiful! The savory pastry was delicious, the dough was perfectly flaky with a good bite and filled just right with a delicious filling of spinach and ricotta. The Pistachio donut was probably the best I've ever had. I'm not a huge donut fan but this,this changed my mind. It's not too sweet which I love and the flavor was delicate and the dough perfectly fried. I want to try Everything in here! If you're around the area and even if you're not stop by! Steak tips were very tender and cooked perfectly. Sauce was great as well as the garlic bread. My buddy got chicken parm and said it was the best he had. Prices are great for the quality food and service was good. Place was also very nice. Will definitely be coming back. read more

The outdoor patio in good weather is absolutely to die for. The food was absolutely phenomenal and every bite was delicious. Service was attentive and on point throughout. Went for an early dinner on a Friday night with another couple. The place was high energy and loud almost too loud and did impact the social aspect of the meal. Basically we shouted at each other for an hour and a half. Service was Excellent. Cocktails were very good. Zucchini appetizer was unique with great flavor and texture. Everyone but me really enjoyed their meal I went with the veal parm which wasn't bad but not great. The veal was a little tough and seemed to lack flavor. I was also disappointed with the red sauce, it was a little sour. With that said I did enjoy the left overs for lunch the next day. I tasted the other dishes and they were truly good. Again another Yelp rec Parking was a little challenging, but we found street parking. We sat at the bar. The dining area was packed. So, that's a good sign. The bartender a was busy, but she was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We started with the caesar salad and arancini which were really good. I had the chicken parm on rigatoni and my husband had the sausage orichette. Both of our meals were fresh, generous and really good. We got our leftover to go and my left overs were another meal for my 21 year old back at the hotel and then he was full! We got some dessert to go. really good. I'm going to keep this short and sweet, as that's all this restaurant deserves. Daniella's has been a favorite place of a friend of mine for years, but I've only been once or twice before. Last night with reservations for an early dinner (5.30 on a Friday night), I was looking forward to eating here. It will be the last time I ever set foot in this place. Don't get me wrong. The food is amazing; tasty, fresh ingredients, well presented. Fantastic service by Devan from start to finish. However, with four of us around the table, barely 30inches away from each other face to face, half the time spent was saying: "What?" to each other. The noise in the place was unbearable, unrealistic, and ridiculous. You can't hear yourself think, much less carry on a conversation with your dinner companions. It wasn't just at our table. I looked around and nearly everyone was leaning into hear or shout at the people they were with, or they decided to be non-conversant. Like I said good food, but I won't be going back. read more

My buddy and I shared a Daniella's salad for an appetizer followed with Veal Parmigiana for me and he had Chicken Marsala. Desert was an over the top rich and sweet Limoncello Cake with a dollop of cannoli filling and a pizzelle and coffee (the only weak thing of this stellar meal). Food was astoundingly delicious. I ordered veal parmigiana and the last time the veal parm sandwich which was good too. Real veal! Husband had shrimp scampi both times. Now that's remarkably good for that twice in a row. We stopped by the bakery and probably shouldn't have but came home with two boxes each time. No photos as we were hungry and the food smelled so good. Next time we'll document and let you see how lovely the presentation is. Definitely worth a night out. read more

Last couple of times my husband and I have gone, it just isn't as good as it used to be. My husband always gets the Sunday Sauce, which he loves. I got the chicken parm, and it really has gone downhill. The chicken used to be golden brown and thick, and now it is very thin, kind of burnt, and very thin. We came last night for a birthday party, 12 of us. Absolutely fabulous on all accounts. We all order appetizers, bruschetta, Daniella's and Caesar salads, drinks and wine. A wide range of entrees, steak tips, to scampi, chicken parm, penne vodka, sausage orecchiette, sliced tenderloin. All perfectly done, we shared and raved about each other's dish. My Wife ordered a Shrimp scampi which was very good over a linguine. I got the Sunday Sauce which was Rigatoni, fresh pork, 2 meatballs and 2 fresh sausages. The gravy was excellent. Went on Satuday night with reservations. The food was amazing- I had the Sunday sauce and it was straight from your Nona's kitchen! So Good. I went with my friends last December and really enjoyed the chicken parmesan pasta. It was cooked to perfection!

We have been coming to Daniella's for at least 7 years, celebrating our birthdays and other special events. Our most recent was tonight. We had a 5:00 reservation and at 7:15 we had our credit cards on the table ready to pay and the front person came to our table and told us that our time was up and they needed our table because people were waiting. We spend hundreds of dollars every time we come, ordering multiple drinks, appetizers, entrees, coffee and dessert. I was a restaurant manager in Boston for many years and this is something that we would NEVER have done. I spoke to the person afterwards and told her that if she would have spoken to our server he would have told her that we were about to pay. We will find a new restaurant for our celebratory events and will NOT be returning to Daniella's in the future. read more

First time and it will not be my last! Greeted by a very friendly person who let me know my table was being set. We discussed the cuisine of the restaurant and two other restaurants run by the owner. Once I got to my table, I was greeted by AJ who was super nice. The meal was one of the best I've had in a while and dessert was super good with many options to choose from. My fiancé and I have gotten take out here before me wanted to come back for a true dining experience! We came around 5pm on a Friday evening without reservations and were able to be seated right away. Our server was polite and efficient and the ambience of the restaurant was charming. We were started with a fresh Artisan? bread paired with olive oil that was seasoned with parmesan and red pepper flakes- scrumptious. In addition we got the caprese and it was delicious. Would order again! Tomatoes were nicely seasoned and flavorful. James got the chicken Parmesan and chose the spaghetti pasta over penne. Which he later regretted and would have preferred the penne. Chicken parm flavor was good! But would prefer the pasta to be a bit more al dente. I decided to be adventurous and got the Orecchiette, based on overhearing a neighboring table stating that's what he always got and absolutely loved. Pasta shells were nice and chewy, the flavor was great, but I was caught off guard with the soupiness of the dish. Italian sausage and the broccolini were done well to complement the Orecchiette. For dessert, I couldn't tell you what the name of it was, but will just say that the plate was empty prior to the plate being cleared! Dinner here was amazing. We had patio seating which was nice, however we were directly under a heater and it got very warm. Charming decor, upscale bistro style, and gracious welcome are the first indications that something nice awaits. Your first view is of a well stocked deli cabinet with gorgeous pastries , bagged pastas and entrees ready to go. Once seated, the cocktail selection is delightful and our Aperol spritz's and Paloma's were just right. Trust me-- order the Arancini for the table as an appetizer . Perfectly crispy outside, slightly creamy inside.. with a sauce so good you could eat it with a spoon. We ordered the Italian Wedding soup.. and the pear and fennel salad.. That soup is remarkable -- big lamb meatballs, perfectly cooked, in a lovely broth brimming with carrots and potatoes and with what seemed like couscous as well.. and of course their own bread with the best oil and grated parmesan I have ever tasted. Wow! The food, the drinks, the service, the quaint cafe feel, this place has it all. I knew it was going to be good when I could smell the Italian goodness as soon as I got out of my car in their private parking lot. When you walk inside you're met with a small area that is a cafe/bakery and while I was too full after my meal for dessert, the cannoli and cakes looked delicious. Once seated, you receive warm bread with an olive oil/Parmesan/red pepper flake spread - and even though you'll want seconds and thirds, save room for the main course because the pasta dishes are plentiful. Probably one of the best rigatoni bolognese pasta dishes I've had - hence the picture being taken halfway through eating! Prices are reasonable, ranging from $15-25 for main dishes. My mom and I were staying in Danvers and didn't know where to go for dinner. We found Danielle's on yelp and thought it looked good and they had seats available. This restaurant was so much nice than the photos. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and was very comfortable. The food is fabulous. Everything we had was so delicious! We started with the Arancini which was cheesy goodness that you would expect. A must try and a great shareable size of 3. The bread they serve is amazing! I could have eaten a whole loaf. I had the salmon with Arugula risotto and my mother had the chicken parmigiana, both were cooked perfectly and delicious. We took leftovers because the portions were big and the food was so good. The service was great! We am sat at the bar and throughly enjoyed Amanda taking care of us!
