This great local donut shop offers a convenient location right before getting on the 101, across from the park n ride, making it easy for those on their way to work to stop and buy a dozen for the office. Having tried several donut shops in the area, this is my favorite, and was a hit at the office. A good local corner donut shop with plenty of donut options. The donuts aren't too greasy, not too dense or doughy, yet not too airy, they're just done right. I've tried just about everything they offer, from their mochi donuts to their ham and cheese croissants. Nothing here will disappoint. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly. There nothing overly fancy about this place, it's just good regular donuts, in an old fashioned donut shop setting, conveniently located. We were so disappointed with our experience here on my son's birthday. The owner gave us the wrong order, so we returned--less than 15 minutes later--just to get it fixed. Instead of an apology, we were accused of lying. It was just 2 donuts, and we were even willing to pay for them, but the owner added an extra charge because, apparently, we "didn't buy enough" in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous. This place is beyond awful. The customer service is abysmal, and they treated us with complete disrespect. To make matters worse, they tainted a special day for my son over a couple of donuts. Came here 10/9 on the way home from a weekend in Ventura Co. Arrived at 415am and was warmly greeted by staff. Hubby commented these were possibly the best donuts he has ever had. Soft in the middle, not too sweet and absolutely delicious. I agree 110%! read more

I would post a 0 star review if possible. Stopped to pick up donuts for my office this morning. The owner has always been rude, but outdid herself this morning. I was completely ignored at the counter while she proceeded to take care of the person who came in after me. Her kind coworker came and boxed my over priced donuts. The owner came back to take my payment and slapped my change on the counter without a word. Even the young gentleman standing next to me noticed. Last time I will put up with the attitude at this business. The donuts are ok but the nasty attitude isn't worth it. read more

Based on experience in March 2023- Always pass by this place and finally decided to stop in after like 10 years hahaha. They open early at 4AM and close at 1PM. Get there early in the morning or by like 10-11AM most things are sold out. Pretty small and cozy donut shop. Just a counter with 2 seats and like 3-4 tables to enjoy the coffee and donuts in house. The French crullers are amazing. Very soft, bouncy, and airy all at the same time. That and their cinnamon crunch donut are my favorite out of the bunch I got around 1030ish. By then, about 60% of the donuts were gone. Service is alright - no smiles or any help despite letting them know it's our first visit. I guess they expect everyone to know what to order immediately. I stop in here every once in a while to buy donuts for my office on the way to work. I like how convenient the location is (I am already driving right by it) and the staff is always friendly and polite. The selection of donuts are average, with regular, big fluffy donuts, old fashioned, bars, twists, buttermilk things (looked like tiny cakey loafs) and my favorites - the crullers. They also have coffee. I'm not sure what beverages they have besides that, but it's a pretty standard donut shop. The wildest flavor they carry would probably be "strawberry". I love strawberry donuts and am always sad when places don't have that. They've also got lots of glazed, sugar coated, chocolate covered, sprinkled, coconut and some filled donuts. Overall it's a very normal shop and my office is always really happy when I bring in their donuts. There are rarely any left by the end of the day and that's saying something because I work in a small office and some of us try to eat healthy too, so the number of people who will actually eat a donut isn't 100%. My box of a dozen donuts (including two bars which are larger) was $8.25! What a great price! read more

This is the cutest little place. It's right off pleasant valley/Santa Rosa with plenty of parking. Based on the outside & inside it doesn't look all that great. But the service & food is so yummy. Super sweet girl behind the counter & the best ham & cheese croissants! Perfect location as I live/work very close by. I like to shop mom and pop, so when it was my turn to bring doughnuts to work I found this place and stopped by. When I walked in, it was basically empty. An older woman came out from the back with a very sour look on her face. I saw an older man head down, working dough in the back and I kind of chuckled to myself thinking, "Poor gramps. Must've really ticked off his wife this time!" I placed my order, the lady never said a word and her face never changed, and I left. Doughnuts were bland and hallow, but whatever. A few weeks later I needed doughnuts again, so I returned and the same old lady was the only person in the shop and she gave me the same sour faced silent treatment for the same bland/hallow doughnuts! This is actually more of a 1.5, and I'm a pretty harsh grader of donuts because I'm comparing all of these shops against each other and making statements like, "Well, it wouldn't be fair to Four Seasons Donuts to give them the same rating." For Danielle's Donuts, they actually disappointed me twice. Somehow when I get lost, I always seem to wind up at a donut store, which isn't too surprising since they're common in the small streets where I get lost. The first time, they disappointed me by not being open (since they close at 1:00) and the second time it was about the selection and the taste. In a lot of ways, it's a very standard donut store. There are a few little tables, the decor is about the same (so pretty bad by restaurant standards), and it's cash only. The selection is only in the plainest types, and even here they might only have about four types of cake donuts, four raised, three filled, plain or chocolate old-fashioned in bar or ring form, and a couple more donuts. I'd gotten a custard-filled donut and a chocolate-covered buttermilk bar for $1.60, which is pretty cheap by donut store standards. The problem wasn't anything bad-tasting so much as a lack of good things. Donuts aren't a bad-tasting substance, after all. The dough in the custard donut was a disappointing, plain, Dunkin' Donuts style of dough, not airy or sweet like its competitors. The custard ended up being a Bavarian cream which tasted pretty good but had a weird, runny consistency compared to others. The old-fashioned actually kind of grew on me, because I ate it a third at a time with a half-hour break each time and it tasted better each time. Still, it was very bready and didn't taste like buttermilk. I like bread, but for a buttermilk fan, I don't think it will do. read more

Simple and easy. They have the best donuts, at least in Camarillo. Straightforward good stuff. Their coffee is pretty good, and consistently good. Highly recommend the glazed, white cake with sprinkles, apple fritter, and chocolate bars. Show up at 5:00 in the morning and you'll see contractors, field workers, cops (out of uniform,)and regulars all getting their day started. The two ladies who are at the counter are nice, helpful, and bi-lingual. If you say, " give me a 'chico' coffee, they know what that means. Don't be fooled by the minimalist appearance or level of social interaction with those behind the counter. These donuts rock! Though I should qualify that by saying I'm a bit of a purist.
