This location is charming, albeit smaller than the Flagship Ventura location. They still keep that European charm and due to the smaller space, it is a cozier, calmer cafe. When I was there, it was mid afternoon (before closing) so it was calmer all around. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. Server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went. In general I felt a friendlier warm vibe compared to Ventura location, but either one is great for classic European vibe, and great pastries.

Stopped here on the way to Santa Barbara and got a vanilla oat latte, drip coffee, and their ham and cheese croissant. The latte was delicious, it was really the perfect ratio of milk, espresso, and syrup. They use verve coffee beans so it's good quality coffee! I had higher hopes for the croissant but it fell flat for me because it was too oily. Overall it's a nice place for a coffee and their waffles looked delicious!

Cafe Ficelle always comes in clutch when I'm looking for a coffee pick me up or a solid brunch spot in Camarillo. It's a casual & cute cafe that always hits the mark and we love seeing their growth all over the 805. I stopped in for an iced matcha and decided to try something new and I'm so glad I did. Huge kudos to Ashley for recommending their breakfast crepe (not something I'd normally order, but WOW was it good). BREAKFAST CREPE: A fluffy crepe filled with soft, melty brie, eggs, bacon, arugula and tomatoes, absolutely delicious and so well balanced. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. 10/10 ICED MATCHA: Washed it all down with a sweet iced matcha, just how I like it...lightly sweet, a little creamy, and still packing that earthy matcha flavor. 8/10. Definitely a great location in the heart of old town camarillo. Nice staff, clean interior, cozy vibes and good food.

Arrived on a Thursday morning about 9:30am...the place is packed...which is a good sign. I came get a good breakfast as I was hungry...when I came in the first thing I see is the coffee and tea menu and a few bread items in the bakery window. I was thinking...this isn't going to satisfy me...until I saw the great menu. I ordered the waffle combo with an ice tea...it was perfect. Filling and made with care. I recommend this place.

Stopped by Cafe Ficelle after walking through the Camarillo Outlets and Jaden was our server and made a great Americano as well as packaged up our three flavored croissants. The café is quite nice and serves breakfast as well. We simply stopped by for a snack and caffeine boost after walking 10000 steps at the outlets. Highly recommended

First time here, looked cute so we stopped in. $19.00 breakfast sandwich with 3 paper thin ham slices and 1 small egg- basically a $19 croissant. Mocha Latte tasted like water- zero mocha at all and filled 3/4??? Why- The Americana coffee has a strange flavor to it- all in all will never return. My coffee got tossed. Ill Pay higher prices for meals but dont rip me off

Really enjoyed their matcha latte here! It was the first nicely sweetened matcha I've had which had a good flavor but wasn't overly sweet after asking for sweetener. Staff was very helpful in recommendations and when I asked for the wifi: espresso. Super cute cafe perfect for brunch, a quick chat, or to get work done. Has street parking and some in the back so I don't think it's terribly hard to find a place for your car. Can't wait to go back again!

Cute neighborhood bakery in Camarillo. We stopped for brunch on our road trip to the Bay Area from LA, and we were delighted to find such a roadside gem. The decor was chic and modern, and the service was friendly and helpful. We all got what we wanted, and the waffle was delicious. It's a bit pricey for the quantity, but it's money well spent.

I love to male stop here for quick healthy breakfast or brunch, I lobe basic and simple and the have exactly that. I order ice green tea an i am addicted to it . I also tried many items in ventura and Camarillo. Honestly nothing to complain about Nice people, calm ambiance and nice meal for good price . Service is always welcoming too

Was very excited to have breakfast here after having a great experience at the Ventura location. Unfortunately, the quiche Florentine was cold on the inside. They graciously gave us another one but still cold on the inside and didn't give it back with the side salad. There was dirt and mold on the fruit as well. Workers were friendly and the vibe is great here. Food quality could use some improvement.

Stopped here on a whim with a coworker. She mentioned this place for our quick morning break. I bake sourdough bread so their sourdough boules caught my eye. I couldn't help but admire their dark crust and signature "F" on them. They also had other baked goods and they also sell actual food like sandwiches. I got a hot chai latte. It was delicious and I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy the ambience of this cute shop.

I got an iced almond milk latte, which was pretty good. I also got a caprese sandwich to go. The bread was very fresh and I liked it. Kind of like a small baguette. Travelled very well. Took a bit of time to make. But it was worth the wait. The ambiance was nice. And it gave me an opportunity to read a sign that said house made raspberry jam. Super tasty stuff. Certain things are a bit pricey and others are not. A lot of places to sit inside and out. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. I think it's good quality and worth trying.

    English muffin sandwich
    Daniela A.

I got a Vanilla latte and English muffin sandwich. The sandwich was delicious! Its buttered has ham, egg (your choice - in my case over hard), & brie! The sandwich is served open face and English muffin is made in house. I'd recommend ordering a side of jam to put on the other half of your English muffin bc they are quite large. I wasn't too impressed with the coffee, I've definitely had much better elsewhere but the food & pastries here are great! There's very limited indoor seating & a cute outdoor patio with extra seating.

Order went through no problem. Trouble started this morning when my wife received a message from the driver that Tree Lounge doesn't have the order (first screenshot). My wife looks and sees she received a cancellation text for the order 1 minute after the driver's message (second screenshot). From the outside this looks like the driver walked in, asked for the order, they said they didn't have it and then cancelled it. So, my wife called Tree Lounge to see what is going on and was told that they cancelled the order because they were "in the middle of their rush". It's easy to see how poorly this situation was handled in general, but also clear no one checked online orders to prep the work for the morning. This order shouldn't be a surprise and the choice to just blind cancel it instead of making it because of what equates to "we're busy" is pretty bad. Takes a lot for me to leave a review. If you don't want to process online order during your rush then set those hours up in door dash. If you screwed up and just didn't check your online orders in the morning, then just make the drink as the next up order. I'm happy to discuss the situation - Tree Lounge, feel free to reach out to me.

I walked in and walked over to the far right where the barista was making coffee. There were 2 families in the building, I stood and waited patiently, drink after drink I saw everyone receive their drink. My order was to be ready at 732pm, it was now 739pm. All good no rush, nothing to do, I then noticed everyone had their drink and the barista, slender guy with no personality w/a beanie, deleted the last order from the screen and begin to clean his space. This is when I approached him and asked if he could check on my order, I wanted to be sure I wasn't at the wrong location, he asked for name on order so I gave it to him and told him it was an app order. He said app orders are on the other side (big long counter and I don't recall a sign that says orders or app orders or anything) so I felt dumb, naturally (I was not upset at all) so we walk over and I see my drinks and I said "oh sorry, my first time here, thank you" still feeling stupid. This is where he could've helped me not feel dumb and it all would've been fine and 100% on me, maybe even shared a laugh over my stupidity, BUT To my surprise he just walked away, he didn't even acknowledge my comment, nothing not a word, so I said "thanks" loudly since he was already 10-15 feet away and this time I was sure to be clear that I did not mean it. Anything that would indicate that he would give a rats butt about a customer who just waited patiently!! I manage retail so I understand long days and all but I can also not accept or understand how someone can just disregard a long time loyal customer of this brand, knowing there are no more drinks in queue, no one in line, nothing and just leave me standing there. I will NEVER return here, a waste of a drive, I will continue going to Gabriel in Oxnard.
