Yelp challenge 2015. 53/365 This gem is located off Harbor and Orangethorpe in the corner of the Fullerton Jewerly mart facing Harbor next to the side door. Lots of Vendors here so its easy to get lost. Usually 2 ladies are working, Madeline and Melissa who are sweet as can be. This is a independent jewerly stand that has been used by the Hubsters family for years. Both his sisters had their rings done here, and his mom has frequently used them for a variety of jewels. Although my diamond came from Lola, (after 11 years) the engagement ring, surrounding diamonds and our wedding bands came from here. Couldnt be happier with my setting. They were able to place my diamond in a beautiful white gold ring. I frequent here a couple times of year for a cleaning and once a year to re-dip them in white gold. Cleaning is done on site for free. Re dipping takes about an hour and is very reasonable in price. I have had my rings for about 5 years and they have held up through my busy active lifestyle. If you are researching, or looking to buy jewelry, please consider Daniel and Madeline, located in the far corner(the one closest to the street light corner) of the Fullerton Jewelry Mart :) I had visited the Fullerton Jewelry Mart with my future husband for THE ring. I specifically went here because there was a jeweler I was interested. However when I arrived and browsed the mart, and came across the vendor I was interested in, they happen to be with someone, and despite swinging by a 2nd time and no effort to help me I lost interest. Que me exploring more vendors. And that's when I made it to the far corner where Melissa and Madeline immediately drew me in. They weren't pushy, they wanted to help and were genuine. They spent a lot of time and care. I even mentioned how I was interested in the "trendy" pink morganite, and swapped the stone of the ring I liked with a morganite just so I could see. But with their wise expertises and my prior research, that I was advised to not go with morganite- it's a soft stone that will scratch easily, that isn't as lustrous as the more affordable white topaz that was originally set in the ring. Madeline specifically said "get the white topaz, and down the line if I want to replace I should get the real diamond" when I had mentioned the synthetic man-made diamond alternative moissanite as another alternative since it's more lustrous than the topaz but way more expensive! I'm so happy for there advice and kindness :) It was honestly the experience I imagined when getting my ring. We got my ring this past spring and just last weekend, I had a visited them to have a minor change prior to my wedding coming up, and they swiftly helped with what I asked for! Cannot say enough great things about this place! They are always so kind and helpful and every visit is so enjoyable. They made the perfect engagement ring and wedding band for me. I get compliments on my engagement ring all the tine, it's truly my dream ring. Even when I had a problem they fixed it so quickly. After a month of having my wedding band, 2 diamonds fell out. PLEASE NOTE this is NOT their fault. it's really because I have very skinny fingers and the infinity ring had to be resized a significant amount to fit me. This caused the diamonds (being larger) to no longer fit super tightly together on the band. I took the ring in and showed them and they made me an entirely new ring at no charge that fit me perfectly within 2 days and it looks amazing. They truly take care of you and alleviate any concerns. I just realized after 4 years that I never wrote a review for Madeline. She is incredibly sweet and easy to work with. There are a million ring dealers in this city and many can do the same things for you. Customer service and attitude during the ring shopping process really makes the difference and Madeline was great in all regards. She didn't apply any pressure sales tactics and was upfront in answering my questions. Of the 3 dealers I met with, Madeline wasn't the cheapest but the diamonds she showed me at that time were the highest quality. For an expense this large and important, saving a hundred bucks just wasn't a point of differentiation. Plus, she was the easiest to work with. Daniel's Creations ended up custom making a setting to match a major retailer almost perfectly and even with a high quality rock, the cost was ~50% less. My wife still loves her ring to this day and we take it to Daniel's downtown office for cleaning periodically for free. I highly recommend Madeline to all my buddies looking to take that big plunge. read more

I searched for months on the best location and I couldn't be happier that it fell into Madeline's hands.
