I don't normally post negative reviews but really didn't appreciate their customer service towards my parents . My mom went in looking for a simple necklace and the lady with a heavy accent upsold my mom . The quality of necklace was definitely not worth the price they charged her. We got a 2nd opinion on it as well . When I went back to ask questions the side lady had to put her to 2cents in and said well maybe next time I should go shopping with my mom. If I could give it negative stars I will. I paid off my account and will never buy anything from this store. I opened my account in Corona. I was visiting a friend and decided I needed a nice watch. I purchased a movado watch in november and I paid it off. So I was looking for an expensive bracelet or a rolex i walked into the store and immediately got dirty looks and bad Looks from this Indian lady. i hope that she isn't the manager. She is totally unprofessional. She requested a print out off of my balance and told me that I couldn't take it. That's it was company policy to shred my info. She didn't have any rolex watches. And I didn't like the bracelet selection. She seemed irritated at the fact that I didn't like her jewelry. If I'm spending 5-10k on something. I'm going to have to really like it. She was terrible. I can't believe I'm forced to give this poor establishment a Star. My poor grandma made a purchase a few days ago where the store manager upsold her and added a $500 insurance that my grandma never approved. When I called to speak to the manager who spoke in the worst broken English, I asked for her name and she spelled it as Soheir Awadala or something like that. She explained that returns are not allowed in spite of the online policy that returns are allowed withing 30 days. She had no shame in lying to me over the phone and when I threaten to report her to the City of Norwalk, she yelled profanities at me and hung up. Been needing to review this location for a while. One of the male workers helped me out and his customer service was top notch. I let him know my price range and style of ring I was looking for to propose to my fiancé and he went above and beyond to help me reach my price range. I ended up loving a particular ring but it was more then I wanted to spend. we ended up working a deal through the manager and ended up getting a great deal. Now I paid cash, and that helped for sure, but I was surprised by how much they took off the original price. I needed it sized by a particular time and he made sure to get it expedited at no extra charge. It was ready before the promise date and it was just what my fiancé wanted. This was actually the last place I came to look at rings and I wish it was my first. I always tell people to come here and if I ever need any more jewelry this will be my first stop. read more

I went into Daniel's and Norwalk to re-open my account. I explain to the young lady I wanted a 14 carat ring and a 14 karat bracelet. She showed me several items and I picked out a ring and a bracelet. I understand it was my fault for not checking the inside of the ring And I trusted her. My friend and I went to another jeweler to have the ring sized and was told the ring was 10 karat and he showed the jeweler the imperfection in the ring, thinking it was size before, but the jeweler said no, it's just an imperfection in the manufacturing of the ring. The ring was for my friend and he decided to keep it along with the bracelet. I've been waiting for a bill or information on how to pay the bill because the young lady stated I will not be paying the bill at Daniels, she also stated if I paid within 90 days there will be no further charges. Someone from a different company has been calling me and want me to verify my personal information over the phone and I refused and they keep hanging up. They stated they were the finance company for Daniels so I said if you are the finance company you have that information already. I also asked if they would say what they had and I could verify, but I would not give them the information and they hung up on me three times! I don't know where to pay this bill. I asked for a supervisor and she said no I cannot speak to nobody until I give her my information Exclamation exclamation I refuse to give information over the phone so I don't know what to do. I think they're just stalling after the 90 days so I can pay the double amount! But that will not happen! I went to this store to get my first time buy experience ... unfortunately there's a young Lady named destiny that I spoke too , I clearly told her word per word that I wanted to build my credit up and she told me that I can lease with progressive to build my credit up and it turns out progressive informed me that they don't built credit on their behalf, so basically I was in a plan not building my credit up and I asked her clearly if this would build my credit score and she said yes. Unfortunately she lied to me and this was basically a waste of my time. If you're trying to build credit here don't go here unfortunately Destiny didn't help me and she lied to me . read more

I do not feel comfortable having an open account here after my experience with one of the employees today . I went to make a payment to my husbands account this week and the lady who helped me i didn't catch her name , she has really curly hair and young , looked up his account for me then she paused as if she couldn't find the account or something . I proceeded to ask her what the problem was and if she was able to find his account , she then stated ,"yes I found it I was just looking because it shows he has something on layaway ". I said he does ? Hmm I don't recall him telling me he put something on layaway , so I asked her what was it? She then stated oh I can't tell you it's not your account , and also said that she in the past ruined a surprise for another customer when she told them . So I just proceeded with my payment and walked out . I questioned my husband but he swore he didn't put nothing on layaway and said let's go down there together to make sure my account is ok . So we went today and the same lady that told me this was there . We walked up and my husband asked her can you look up my account , she said sure . He then asked her do I have something on layaway, right away she says no you have nothing on layaway without getting his info mind you , so I stepped in and said excuse me then why would you tell me he did , that's not what you were saying the other day when I came in here alone . She made up some excuse about it didn't make any sense and we walked out . I really don't understand her motive or her point in lying to me about this . We feel really uncomfortable having an account here and once our item is paid they will be losing a customer . I had gotten some weird vibes from her in the past but I was always nice and ignored it , didn't think she would do something like that . Makes me think she's done it to other couples . We came here for our wedding bands because this is where my husband bought my engagement ring. We had to get his ring ordered because they didn't carry his size which was fine. We were cutting it short and needed our bands. They told us that the rings would be ready on Friday. We head there on Friday and call ahead and the girl tells us the wrong size was sent to them. (Our wedding was the following day). I asked what they would be able to do for us since we needed them the following day, this girl hung up on me 3 times! Mind you, I'm not upset that the ring was the wrong size... what upset me was the fact that she hung up on me 3 times when I tried to figure out what we could do. When we got to the store I asked when they had received the ring and they said Thursday morning. Sooo, they knew the wrong size came in and no one had called me. I only found out because we were on our way to pick it up and I called. No apologies for not notifying us our order was incorrect or even for hanging up. All she said was, "I'm not sure what happened" if I didn't need the ring I would have left that place empty handed. It took everything I had to not scream at this girl. They only got a second star because when we had came in the girl who helped us was very sweet and accommodating, unlike her superior who literally did nothing to help us besides piss me off. I am so disapointed in this store and daniels as a company! I get my. Bill in the mail 2 days before its due and it states on the back if late they will charge late fee plus report to credit bureu. So in a panic I get online to find there is no way to pay via internet. So now here I am waiting in from of the store to pay with no idea when they open its been an hour and there is no hours of operation in posted front!! Ahh so annoying!! We should get at least a 15 day noticed before being billed per month. And a sign would be nice BTW no hour listing on either yelp or Google! This place needs to catch up with the times! read more

The one in Cerritos mall a lady was kind of rude to me and made me feel like I was bugging her. but these guys at the Norwalk store are great!!! They helped me find what I wanted really fast.Then worked with me on the price of the ring. They actually were 100$ cheaper then the one in Cerritos! I am so disapointed in this store and daniels as a company! i been to there store in whittier which has great customer service and alway taken care of me but norwalk store is a whole different storie my wife went in there to buy me a diamond ring not a 500,or 1000,or even 2000 ring it came out to a little over 3100 dollars so i get my ring christmas day so happy to get it so when i look at it there was like a nick'dent and one side of the ring the white gold look faded like a oil spot thinking to my self this is over a 3000 ring and thats how they gave it to my wife to give to me on christmas unacceptable and it didnt fit so we wait till the day after christmas to take it back and we run into to the ladie that helped my wife coming back from lunch with the security garud so she finally comes out to help us and i tell her about the ring and show her whats wrong with it and she told me we will take care of it i'am thinking to myself it should of never left the store in that condition first of all so i start looking around at a few other rings which they dont have a good selction and i saw another one i liked it was 500 bucks more then the one my wife picked out for me and my wife said go ahead and up grade it to the on you like so the lady calls the daniel's head quarter and tell me that they cant get a hold of anyone till the next day to check if they can order my size and i'am ok she said they could special order one in my size but it would be an extra 600 on top of the cost because of the sizing but my wife already paid 180 to 200 extra for resizing my ring up to 2 size up and i told the ladie we already paid for resizing and then she changed it to its not the sizing its that they have to use more gold and i told her we already paid for resizing i will not pay anymore and she started giving some attieude so i tell here if you cant honor the price lupe gave me i will just return it and go some where else that can do it and she tells me i wont take it back but let me talk to hire up manger THAT SHE WILL CALL ME TOMORROW so i'am like ok the next day gos by by 2:30pm so then i call them i ask for the girl that helped me. she told me she would be in all day so when i called i asked for lupe the girl that answer with attieude saying that lupe not here to day i'am ok let me talk to ur store manger she answers.so i tell her iam the one that bought the 3000 ring i been waiting for your call this morning she tell me they havent got back to me so no i'am getting upset you cant get a hold of anybody at ur head quarters i told thats find i just going to take back the ring and return it store manger tell me i'am not taking it back unless you buy something else in the store so i tell her you dont want ur ring back fine i will just call my credit card company and cancel my payment .so she tells me do what you would like, i said ok i will 5 min later she calls me again saying she would give me a better deal so i dont have to pay a extra 900 she brought it down to 644 i told her no thanks so now i get another call about 15 min later from the store manger i got even a better deal all you have to pay now would be 344 dollars and thats a steel i told her no i'am a business owner my self and some times you have to eat ur mistakes to make ur customers happy and she told me no i cant that the best i could do for you and i told her thanks but no thanks now i feel like i was not being respected there just play games with me and i dont like to be played with i'am a business man so i told her no and i would call my credit card company to tell them what was going on they told me dont worry that they would take care of everything and refund me my money and i said great right after i got done talking to my credit card company the distric manger from daniel jewelers calls me sorry for everything that he will honor the price with nuttin out of my packet for the resize or extra gold now i'am like 2 days going at it with you guys and now that i called my credit card company now the distric manger wants to call me and give me a better deal no buddy you should first fire ur whole staff at the norwalk store for being rude,attieude, poor sale skills and very poor mangment i really dont no how that store stays in business i will never recommend anyone to this place i should of had way better customer service and better mangment skills taking care of me i was spending over $3100 dollars i would give you a zero star rating i'am so disapointed with daniel's jewelers i would never go back there again and thanks for ruined a special moment for me and my wife read more
