Do NOT fall for their rapid 2 day shipping, I paid an extra 65 dollars for two day shipping and they're telling me there's a five day processing , then two days to ship. So I paid extra for two day shipping but it is actually going to take 7 days. Nowhere on their website does it say that there's a 5 day processing to just ship the jewelry. Rude and unprofessional service yesterday for a watch fitting and battery replacement. I did not mind paying the $20 and the girl seemed almost bothered at the fact that I accepted the service fee and she would have to do work! She was mad and tried to speak down to me because I did not know how many links I needed removed before she even started. I said never mind , took my watch back and left. I had buoght a 1.04 heart shaped diamond at the jewelry mart in downtown. I had it for 13 years. I was afraid to take it to get a setting because they trade diamonds. I decided to take the chance and set it. I walked in to the Daniels at the Whittwood mall and told the sales lady I believe her name is Maria that I wanted to set it but afraid it would be changed. She said oh we have been here for a lot of years and we're reputable. She wanted me to leave it for the Jewler. I told her just measure it and order the setting but for some reason she said that was not possible. I eventually did leave it. It took 1 week to order the ring setting. And I had to insist to give me MY diamond back. I picked up a diamond and I checked it but where you pick up those items that corner us bad lit. I explained I don't see the fissures that I had seen with my magnifying glass. The lady -Maria said I see it. So I signed the paper that I did pick up my ring. Anyways when I got it home I could NOT see the fissures on the dent of the heart and then noticed the pavilion of the diamond was short. Like it was almost flat. I called bank and told Maria this is nit my Diamond. She said you signed fir it and yelled it is your diamond it is your diamond. I asked who the Jewler was and she said Henry. I said Oh NO I seen his name in bad reviews. She yelled no it's not. It's in the BBB site. I knew I had problems. They change gems and once he had set ut you can't tell the size of the bottom of your gems because they are mounted already. I don't know how many people that have been ripped off using that trick but that's stealing !!! The man that works in the jewelry switches the gems. He is a thief !! I plan on following up with a 3 rd party. Look at how short the bottom is compared to the top of the diamond. After I sent feedback to the email I was Told to with what happened. I was told someone would call me. The persons name was candy and she wanted me to drive to the Compton store so she can have a chat with me. I told her why in the receipt it does not have a measured description and weight. She said oh that store does not have weights. In fact hardly any of our stores have weights. I'm like but your a jewelry chain how can you not have a scale? I took the diamond to a gemologist and bought a eye glass to look at it. Both he and I could nit find the broken chip on the indentation of the heart neither the small white shatter spot it had near the indentention But it did test as a diamond. I had paid for the setting so I had to go pick it up. The manager said oh it was canceled because our jeweler does not want to work with you. I told her I went through all of this for nothing. The diamond was changed. I'm worst off than when I started. I seen the side of her lips make a half smile and I lost it.. the female assistant with the large tattoo on the side of her calf said I'm going to call security. I told her go ahead since I should be filling out a police report. I was handed back my credit card and started walking out I seen the female assistant with the tattoo filming me with her phone. I had to get out of that hole. When I got to my car I seen the skinny male with the white completion stand out side of the door. The female assistant with the tattoo told him something and they started laughing. That was my experience with this place. On Sunday September 10, 2023 I went to Daniels jewelers to purchase some silver bangle earrings. There were two sales associate, one male and one female both young. The female associate had on a romper short outfit that was not appropriate. The store open late. The male associate said he was not feeling well and proceeded to leave the register multiple times before completing my transaction. To top it all off they did not disclose to me when I applied for Daniell's credit card that they would be running my information through five different agencies. I am furious! My personal information as well as my Social Security number was passed around, like an offering tray at church on Sunday. Something needs to be done. And today's society credit card fraud is rampant. They did not disclose to me or notified me that they were going to pass my information out like that, and even though I was the proved by one of these agencies I declined I was irritated and perturbed beyond measure. I just paid for my purchase and did not want anything else to do with them and because of those five inquiries, my credit score dropped points in one day for credit that I didn't even use and declined. This Danielle's location is very unprofessional, I went in to resize my ring and I had the girl tell me that I couldn't half size my ring so she convinced me to do a whole size up after picking it up I did realize that it was too big when I wash my hands it especially the ring slides and turns all day, I paid 150 to resize both bands, I went back to tell them that the sizing was incorrect and another lady "Maria" helped me and she said I could do a half size she doesn't know why the other girl told me I couldn't but if I wanted to go down a size I would have to pay 150 all over again. This place shouldn't have new girls sizing people or they should least overlook and shadow the new person while sizing a customer. Now my wedding ring is too big on me and I'm nine months pregnant so it's not like I've lost any weight, and they want to keep charging me to fix their mistake! I went in a few weeks ago with a necklace from my boyfriend. He had a special locket etched with our pictures on the inside, but the chain wasn't quite right, so I took it to Daniel's to remove the clasp on a new chain and put the locket on that one. I showed the two people at the front desk the necklace and our pictures inside-- they were so sweet. But I had to leave it with them because the jeweler wasn't in. When I went to pick up my necklace a few days later, the chain was fixed but the locket was ruined. I was devastated. The sweet little etching must have been put under direct heat (but it didn't need to be because only the chain needed the clasp removed, not the locket), and the etching is now warped. It was just a mistake, I understand-- but I think the jeweler should've been more careful. And the two people at the front desk (different from the first time I went in) still had me pay full price (actually, they tried to charge me extra first) even though my necklace is destroyed. $30 for a botched job is $30 too much. Just be careful and make sure you give explicit instructions if you go there. read more

These a large purchases and it takes time to make a decision on these purchases. Once I was there for more than 10 minutes asking questions the manager Maria who was helping me started to seem very annoyed. She seemed like she was trying to push me out and didn't want to wait on me any longer. I was the only one in the store so I didn't know what her deal was. I walked out and decided to walk back in just to speak to a manager. Once she told me she was the manager I was taken away. I came in a few months ago looking for a small band for the my girlfriend and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Like all jewelry stores, they try to push their credit cards on you (almost 30% apr!) and they like to show you the flashy stuff. If you know what you are looking for this is a nice store to compare prices with. They seem to always be stocked, and offer to find you what you need if they do not have it. I just wanted to get on here and say that I walked into the jewelry shop not expecting much but to look around. I was greeted with my boyfriend very friendly by a two ladies named Mayra and Sully. We originally walked in to look around for not a ring but a baby bracelet with an option to engrave. I just wanted to say that we had a great experience with these two ladies who not only took care of our needs and requests to see the items that interested us but also their friendly smiles and positive feedback on any questions we had. Mayra and Sully also helped other customers around the store whom were also shopping around and I could tell they had the same energy all around. First time my fiance went in to buy my engagement ring and had a good helpful experience picking out my ring. We recently went to look at wedding bands and Maria helped us. Came in to make a payment and Melody threw a hissy fit that I was making a payment here. I gave her my last receipt which had my account number on it and she proceeded to tell me it didn't.. when I clearly stated it on there. She also didn't think I could pay my bills because when I paid over my amount she seems surprised. Supervisor next to her did absolutely nothing. At the end of the day, horrible customer service and they don't care about their customers. This place is horrible. I walked in to three sales associates standing behind the counter just looking at me. Ummm... Ok? I'll say hi I guess. No greeting whatsoever. One of them decides she'll help me out. I told her I wanted to see their princess cut solitaires. She then proceeds to point towards that direction. The first diamond she pulls out is a 1 carat. "Excuse me, do you have a cloth to wipe this with?" She asks, "Why?" I said, "Because their is a smudge on the diamond of a fingerprint". How am I to look at the clarity with a fingerprint stain on the diamond? So she yells out to Yolanda or whoever and she brings a micro cloth over. I then asked to see the 1.5 carat. She then proceeds to ask for my ID because this ring is "over the limit". Ok? I didn't have my ID with me so she had to wear it on her pudgy hands. She then proceeds to asks me to compare my diamond with the 1.5. Ok? Obviously I'm there looking to upgrade so my diamond won't be as big. She then says, "Look at this diamond compared to yours. It's like bam in your face!" Wow! Not only did this girl look like she just graduated from high school and had too much McDonald's... She was very unprofessional. Did she even know anything about diamonds? Probably not... I will go elsewhere. Do not come here. It's a joke. read more

I just had a pair of my wife's ear rings repaired at this location and they damaged them beyond repair. I asked that a post be replaced and they agreed to do it for $45. Well, the post was replaced but they broke the rear safety clasp (which could not apparently be repaired by their lackey jeweler). What's worse, one of the stones was missing as well! Unbelievable! The manager was unapologetic and acted like she was doing me a favor by telling me that there would be no charge for the repair. (No charge for jacking up my jewelry...I should think not! I could have done a better job in my garage!). She as much as called me a lier by first attempting to say that I brought in the ear rings in with the safety clasp damaged and then proceeded to tell me that the jeweler said that he couldn't fix the clasp so he was being nice by not charging for the repair. I told her that the clasp was intact and in perfect working order when I brought them in...why wouldn't I have requested for them to repair that too...I reasoned if it were broken? You can't wear them in their current state...how does that even make sense? She didn't know what to say when confronted with logic and started back paddling. At this point, the ear rings are worse off then when I started. And now, the clasp can't be repaired and there is a big hole where a stone used to be...wow...I'm shocked beyond words. What a miserable bunch of unprofessional, uncaring and unapologetic employees. I will never do business with Daniels again. Avoid this place like the pleague! read more

My husband bought me a beautiful ring for Christmas. Unfortunately it was too small and could not be sized. I was told that they had my size at a different store, and they would ask for it to be transferred to their location for me to exchange. They said it would take two weeks. Two months and several phone calls later, the ring was lost. First they said it was taking longer than expected because they were doing inventory. Then someone told me UPS lost it. Then someone else said it was sent to the wrong store and then misplaced.
