The employee which I think was the owner was very friendly and welcoming and assisted us with all our questions. I did look the shop up on Instagram before arriving and the first video I saw said to get the plain glazed and wow I haven't had just a plain glazed donut that good in awhile. They also had this sausage egg and cheese pastry thing that was really good but I ate it too fast to get that in the photo. If your in Big Bear, I highly recommend!

I'm kind of a coffee purist and really enjoyed their dark roast drip which was rich, dark, and smooth. The do have a full menu of hot and cold drink options which all looked just a tasty. On one of my visits, I ordered their Moonridge Breakfast Sandwich, without cheese. It was delicious and well constructed, with toasted sourdough, thick bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, some red onion, and a very yummy garlic aoli. They offer packets of hot sauce and other condiments for folks like me who want a bit of heat. I'm not a big pastry person, but their pasty case look really good with a wide variety of options. There are lots of coffee options in Big Bear and I've tried a few. I'll stick with Moonridge Coffee Company for a great cup of coffee and meal. I highly recommend this location and will return.

I can't comprehend any business being allowed to do what I have experienced within the last day. I walked in yesterday with a view to trying their breakfast. before I could even complete my order, a blond female calling herself Kara angrily approaches me, defaming me and trying to hound me out of town saying "Oh my God, you're still here." I was wondering what on earth is this about? She claims to be the owner of the place which Is neither here nor there but I learn a few hours later that she has started emailing other businesses in the area defaming me and telling them not to take my business. One wonder what on earth can make an individual so unhappy that they start some sort of campaign against an individual and the impact for Big Bear as a great place for visitors from all parts of the country. This place is definitely a hidden gem and a must-visit if you're in Big Bear! We stopped by on our way home, and I'm so glad we did. I tried their strawberry and blueberry donuts, and they were absolutely incredible, so flavorful, and perfectly sweet. I loved them so much that I had to go back and grab more... and let's just say they didn't last long on the drive! We also tried a couple of their sandwiches and the potato salad, and everything was just as delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. This owner becoming unhinged in the DMs over an extremely benign 3 star review tells you everything about this place. Say it publicly if you believe it. I have never been here before and I don't return to places that don't put as much respect in their vegan/vegetarian food as they do in their meaty food. I visit Big Bear often from where I live in the DESERT, but good job letting the LA peeps know to avoid here. Hilarious coming from the guy whose location in his profile is Culver City. Pretty good donuts and croissants. I got the ham and cheese one and it was good, but the dough seemed a little undercooked. My friend liked her Neapolitan donut and we each got a drink. I asked if they had soy milk for my chai tea and the guy said they had almond milk, which is fine but I'm not a fan so I declined. Then he said they had soy, so I was a little confused on why he didn't just say yes when I had asked haha. Would go back when I come back to Big Bear. read more
