What a great little coffee place. I was especially excited when I saw the baked goods. Im pretty sure they are the same ones from Sister My Sister Bakery. I'll be back. Pros: * Espresso is delicious; I make protein coffee with it. * Nice staff * Coffee beans smell amazing. I didn't get any because I didn't see a price and forgot to ask when I go to the counter, oh well. * Poptart pastry is amazing! Its nice that they offer some pastries. Cons: * Ants. There were quite a bit on the counter with the creamers and honey. Extra: * They have a parking lot. Good amount of parking considering the location * Small inside. I got lucky and there were only 6 other ppl there. However, if your like me and get claustrophobic, I dont recommend it. Send someone else to order for you lol * There is a small porch seating area. Riggs and Jen are amazing! Very kind and very informative. Riggs walked us through the coffee menu since we were not very knowledgeable. Beans are all roasted in house by Jen and Riggs. Absolutely fantastic! Visiting big bear and stopped for some coffee. We were definitely not disappointed. The inside is cozy with a home-like atmosphere. I also spent time on the comfy seats on the porch outside. In the store I smelled all the fresh coffee, each bottle with a twin of what the label actually said! I was shocked so much, before I even tasted the drink I bought the beans. Banana hazelnut was my pick. I got my drink and was in heaven. I haven't made many reviews lately but when I walked in the door I knew I should take some pictures. I also had some swigs of my husband's Dirty chi with vanilla and sure enough. The result of masters in roasting coffee beans. I highly recommend this place The staff were super chill and I felt very comfortable ordering my drink. I sometimes get nervous if I don't know what they saying . So if you are in the area and you love coffee, this is the place. read more

Great coffee and cozy vibes. The line was pretty long when we went on a Sunday morning, but I found it to be worth the wait. They have lots of syrups you can choose to flavor your coffee drinks. They also carry many varieties of their own roasted coffee beans with different flavorings. I ordered a blueberry lavender vanilla iced latte and my husband ordered a banana bread latte (banana and gingerbread syrups). Both drinks were delightful!! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back. read more

Up in Big Bear and saw the reviews. First off it's a small cozy place. I asked for something ice and some sweetness and they recommended the Spo. It was perfect. I believe it was pistachio, chocolate and strawberry syrup. It had a perfect blend of sweetness and coffee. The cashier was amazing and sweet! Greets everyone with a smile. He's so genuine. The lady making the drinks was just as sweet. If you're in town come pay them a visit. Line was a bit long but worth the wait. read more

Found this little gem down the road from the hotel, as I like to enjoy local coffee houses when we are traveling (shhhh... don't let Starbucks know). This place might be small and mighty, but it gets packed with a line out the door! Service is great. We met the owner, who noticed that my Husband was wearing a rival local coffee house's sweatshirt that we bought the day before (Yes, yes, I was not paying attention to his clothing). So of course, after paying for our coffee, Husband got back in line to purchase some apparel. There was only 1-person making everyone's coffee, and she was a very busy busy bee. We got our latte's and they were delicious! Would definitely come back. While there might not be too much parking nearby, this coffee is worth the wait. While they do not have menu's posted up for you to review, as soon as you walk in there is a menu taped to the counter with refreshments/additions to your coffee, as well as taped to the tables. Plenty of places to look at the menu and decide which drink you prefer. The sell bagged coffee and I thought I heard them say they will grind it for you too. Having worked at a restaurant with a coffee shop next door, there is nothing better than smelling the freshly roasted coffee! I immediately noticed the roaster at this place! It takes talent and almost like having a green thumb for coffee to make varieties and varying flavors. I loved his coffee the moment I walked inside! One of my favorite coffee spots in Big Bear! They have a delicious selection of roasts and speciality flavor syrups, and some for sale as well! A few bakery options and other drinks too! The only thing is be prepared to wait. It gets super busy on the weekends, I waited 40min for my 1 coffee. But the baristas were super nice and friendly, it made waiting in the small cafe more tolerable! A few seats in and outside the cafe, and an easy walk to the Village. Would recommend as long as you're not in a rush! Really amazing coffee!! read more

Whenever we are visiting Big Bear we stop here. Jen and the gang are so nice. We had a custom made drink with oat milk. It was delicious and not too sweet. We sat on the outside porch and relaxed. We bought several pounds of coffee to take home with us. Jen gave us a free pound of coffee for my husband's birthday. Such a nice surprise. The day we were leaving we dropped in to get coffee for the ride home. They have alternative milks which is great for us vegans. Looking forward to visiting again. read more

Cute lil coffee shop that I definetly recommend! I got the 12 oz iced latte w/ magic mountain and caramel drizzle along the cup (recommended by the cashier, really friendly and sweet btw). I tend to be a picky coffee person but I was impressed. Perfect espresso to milk to syrup ratio imo. For reference I like it pretty sweet but nothing too crazy for reference. I also like how they have crushed ice because it makes it easier to stir around. Definetly recommend stopping by when visiting! There is also really nice seating right outside to really take in the weather. Hope to be back soon! read more

Long overdue review. This is one of the most beloved coffee shops in town. They close I believe at 5pm or early like that, so if you're leaving town, you better put it on your calendar to come get your beans before they close! Their coffee is always so good and their beans is excellent and so aromatic! They also have as small restroom right near the register. The owners are super nice and so friendly. They have different beans out in display so you know how they smell like before you buy. We ran out of their beans for a while now so I can't remember all the kinds that we usually buy but Fog Lifter is usually one of them. read more

Only spot in Big Bear for some legit coffee. I'll always stop here when I come up to Big Bear. Lots of different roasts done in house. For the people who like flavored beans, he has those too. Line could get long, and it's pretty cramped inside. Picked up a bag of Guatemala that had a roasted date 2/9. I pulled a shot on 2/16, so much crema in this, it was def a fresh roast! read more

Every time I visit a new city, I love trying out local coffee shops! I stumbled upon this shop on my way back to the cabin. Their cafe is charming! When you step in, you immediately smell the coffee beans! Their baristas and cashiers are super friendly. Our drinks came out pretty fast as well! We ordered two chai lattes and two iced lattes. All four drinks we felt were watered down. We could only taste the flavoring of the syrups that were used to flavor the lattes. There was barely any coffee flavor to the latte as well as the chai. I was a little disappointed because I saw how crowded this cafe was. read more

Amazing coffee! They have all of the alternative milks that you could need and a really great menu. They also have wonderful baked goods and a lot of other options if you need to buy something on the fly. Service was great, considering there was a line out the door and only one person behind the counter. This is a small business so there may only be one person making your drink. Make sure you give them a lot of Patience and respect because your drink is made with love! The little coffey cabin is very charming and you can tell that they really love what they do. We'll definitely be back next time. We are in big Bear. read more

SO. GOOD! If you are in the mood for real coffee this is the place for you. My husband ordered a chocolate/peanut butter iced late and I got an iced peppermint mocha (sacrilegious before Halloween, I know, I'm ashamed) and both were divine. Once I realized they had nugget ice (if you know, you know) I turned to my husband and whispered "oh I should have ordered extra ice" and the lady got me an ice cup!! It's also just a cute space to be in with seating outside as well. I cannot recommend this experience enough. read more

Went to stop here after a long hike, and we were not disappointed I got an iced latte with oatmilk and cinnamon syrup, the coffee was tasty and fresh (unlike other competitors that start with an S ) And the service was great, the man at the counter was helpful with a cheerful attitude We also left with a bag of American Roast and wowwww it's flavorful I'm glad we found this place, definitely our go-to now for Big Bear trips read more

Originally, we didn't plan on coming to this place but when we saw the line coming out of the place, we knew that it was good. The barista was very helpful and explained every details for every beans in their place. I ordered their daily brew and it came out a bold and little strong but I liked it. First time trying their coffee and I would definitely go back. They offer hot or cold coffee, and have non dairy options (soy, almond, oat milk). I ordered a medium iced mocha which comes with three shots of espresso. The staff is friendly and even shared their recommendations for kid friendly places to visit while on our trip. The coffee shop is super cute with seating in the front and two small tables with stools inside. As soon as you enter the smell of coffee is filling the room, they sell different bags of coffee on site as well. read more

We stumbled upon this small coffee roaster while visiting Big Bear Lake, and I'm so glad we did. They had a great selection of blends and single-origin coffees, and we ended up trying one from Brazil, it was fantastic. Smooth, perfectly roasted, not bitter at all, with really nice pure, nutty notes. I also had their espresso blend in a latte, and it was just as good, strong, rich, and full-bodied. The owner made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly and even let me try a blend from a region I don't usually go for while we chatted about our coffee preferences. That personal touch really stood out. We actually came back a couple more times the same day, once to grab an extra bag for a friend and again for one last coffee before hitting the road. Definitely a spot I'll look forward to visiting again! (Just a hint, organic clean coffee added to your selection would be amazing too. ;) read more

I was visiting Big Bear with some friends and we needed coffee, so we stopped by this local coffee shop. It ended up being such a great find. The shop itself is on the smaller side and it did feel a little stuffy inside, so I can only imagine how it feels for the employees to be in there all day. After paying, the barista got right to work on our drinks and handed them over once they were ready. Their menu is pretty unique. The drinks are basically combinations of the different syrups they have available, and they're known for their wide variety of roasts. They also have mixes that can be adjusted to your taste, and anything with an "*" on the menu means there's a zero sugar version of that syrup, which I thought was a cool touch. I got an Americano and really enjoyed it. The syrup wasn't overpowering and the bold coffee flavor came through without being too bitter. It was the perfect balance. I'd definitely recommend checking out this little spot if you're in Big Bear. Big shoutout to the barista who was working when we stopped by. She mentioned someone had a medical emergency so she was running the shop completely on her own, and she still did such an amazing job. I wish I got her name! read more

Riggs made the best coffee ever. He was so kind and running a solo show during rush hour. He's got a charming personality and I will definitely be coming back tomorrow! They roast their beans in house and take their time crafting each drink - thus the long line to order, and a bit of a wait after you order. In addition to coffee drinks, they sell Chemex coffee makers, bags of whole bean coffees, and a few pastries and snacks. Service was great, and my Peanut Butter Cup latte hit the spot. Really cool staff! They have lots of options for latte's even ones I wouldn't expect like Ube! Super quaint and I love supporting small businesses. Much better than Starbucks! Quite a few of my party ordered matcha and we all agreed it tasted off. I think the natural bitterness of matcha was too overwhelming and had to be cut a bit more sweetener. read more

Every time I come in here, there is a long line. They have limited options if you don't want a coffee drink. They have no decaf coffee. There is no chai on the menu. They do have alternative vegan, non-dairy milks. I'm unsure what their tea selection is because I didn't want to wait in the long line to get up to the front just to find out what their Tea selection was. There's not really any indoor seating because the area that would be the indoor seating is retail and the line. There is a couple of outdoor front seats and that is all. read more

My first time visiting Big Bear as well as Big Bear Coffee Roasting! They were decorated for Christmas :) My cousin and I wanted to get a drink to kickstart our morning while we were on the long waitlist for Grizzly Manor a few minutes away. Because we were there on a Sunday morning, it was a line out the door! We did wait quite a while before placing an order. They have a vast menu selection ranging from standard coffee drinks to specialty coffees and non-coffee drinks as well as pastries. They also sell their own coffee beans which they can grind for you in house at no cost, and coffee merch. I don't drink coffee so I ordered a hot cocoa with oat milk and a pump of pistachio. The pistachio was a nice touch and gave it a more nutty and roasted flavor to the hot cocoa which was nice. My cousin ordered an americano. Service was excellent, and we didn't wait long for our drinks. read more

Creamy, fluffy foam, coconutty flavor with a bit of caramel sweetness, dark chocolate espresso and alotta cinnamon flavor. Deliciously perfect for a Fall or Winter drink! This drink took me by surprise! Really enjoyed it! CHOCOLATE SEMOLINA OLIVE OIL LOAF It wasn't bad, but a bit disappointed that it was straight up chocolate loaf. Technically, it is more of a cocoa loaf, as it is not sweet nor is there chocolate in it. However, it had a lovely spongy, bouncy texture. Flavor-wise, it's nothing special especially with the long name and all. SUNSHINE MATCHA LATTE (Iced) Nekohama matcha. Latte was a bit sweet. But you can taste the Earl Grey and matcha. Got it with whole milk. It made it creamy, which was good. I did taste a hint of lemon in it as well. Honestly did not like that extra lemon flavor, as it distracted from the Earl Grey itself. I don't think the lemon was necessary. There was citrus flavor, but not tartness. I think citrus peel would have been better if they wanted an extra citrus flavor. INDOOR & OUTDOOR SEATS A-PLENTY Ambiance had a retro feel, which was fun. Indoor was packed! No tables or seats available. Smaller tables for 2. Outdoor tables and seats were available. Given how packed it was inside, there were a few spots for parking. There is also free street parking as well. Love the drink options here and would love to return when I'm in the area!
