Best barbershop period. Drove all the way from Chino Hills to get the cleanest shave. The owner Carlos is a true artist with the razor. Moved to the I.E 6yrs ago and have not found a barber like Carlos. I try to stop by whenever I am in town but thats not too often. I been to primos barber shop and it seems that if your not a paisa, you don't get good service. Danny's is the spot! I've been coming here for over 15 years. I would recommend asking for Fermin. He usually has a bit of a wait but you can always sign up and come back, or even set an appointment. This place is legit. Dozen strong chairs lined up with barbers going at it with precision. I wanted a military cut left long on the top (to which most barbers on the base, mean its a freaking bowl cut), but they were able to fade me up and line up as well. This place is honestly a dump of a barber shop now. I was sitting down waiting for a haircut and a Cockroach comes out of the mats. Yes, true story, so I got up and left. Never going back there again. The only reason why Danny's is getting 2 stars is because of Fermin. He's the only barber who will give you a clean haircut. I just got my haircut and I had terrible experience. The guy who has big beard and hair cut it for me but MAN! I never feel so embarrassed in my life after he cut my hair. My hair look like it was cut by a kid. Now I have to buzz my hair to get rid of the line on top of my hair. For my oldest son who got a hair cut i did not get his name but he is good my son told him what he wanted and nailed it as well. Most barbers in this place will mess up your cuts. They seem careless. There are two barbers there that do cut your hair well, but the rest is a gamble. The first time I went, my hair was cut very well. My second time going there, i could smell alcohol in this mans breath cutting my hair. Sure enough, my sides were not straight. I just let him finish since he was almost done and the damage couldn't be reversed. It's 10AM and this guy smells like alcohol. I'm pretty pissed at this. This guy must be an alcoholic, I think, so I talk to him trying to figure out if he has an issue. I could see his reactions were slow and droopy. I couldn't believe someone was buzzed cutting hair. Two weeks later, I decide to give this shop another shot, but I ask for a certain barber to cut my hair since he cut my hair the first time and seemed patient with the cuts. Everything's fine for next 3 hair cuts until the barber I usually get has a line of customers waiting for him (I guess everyone found out he's one of the skilled barbers). So I opt to try this other guy (not the same drunk guy). This guy can't do fades for crap. He messed up really bad. He didn't take his time or even use shaving cream. I had it after this. Barbers are careless and unprofessional. Not going there again and i don't recommend anyone to go there. I got sick of going to $11 shops, I rather pay $25, if it keeps me from looking like I let some little kid cut my hair. Save yourself the embarrassment. I have been coming to this barbershop for over 6 years to get my sons hair cut and today I got the worst service I've ever had! They had this lady who has NEVER cut my sons hair before, start to cut his hair because one of the barbers "supposedly didn't speak English" which by the way, the same man has cut his hair before, but his excuse was he didn't speak English so she began to cut his hair. I have got the same hair cut for years now on my son and I always get a long front style comb over, the lady just began to cut his hair without 1) starting with the line on the side and 2) without separating the front first! His hair was messed up and not how I wanted it and to top it off the clip used to hold the cover that keeps hair off was pinching my son! The lady put it on and ignored the complaints my son was saying that it was hurting him! This was the worst service I've ever seen here so we left! I will no longer be coming to this barbershop and I will no longer tell others to go here! People who go to the same barbershops expect the same people to cut their hair, not total strangers!!
