Our refrigerator died yesterday. I called Danny's Appliance at 8AM this morning. They said someone would be out between 1 and 3pm. They also mentioned that there was a $70 charge to come on by. That charge would be applied to parts and labor if we had them do a repair. Of course if the refrigerator could not be repaired, which sometimes happens, they would keep the 70$. I have no complaints with that. Time and mileage are money and they are running a business. A young guy called at 2pm and said he was 15 minutes away. He came across well on the phone. He came to the house in a repair guy uniform. He took off his shoes before entering the house. He was well presented and sounded just as smart in person as he did on the phone. He diagnosed the likely problem quickly. He told us that the repair would either be relatively inexpensive and quick, or we would probably want to replace the refrigerator if it turned out the condensor was bad. We were lucky. He replaced a relay and we were good to go. I am always a bit leary when getting repairs, mainly because of a mix of good and bad experiences with automobile repairs. I am extremely happy with my experience with Danny's Appliance. I will be calling them first anytime one of our appliances malfunctions. read more

What a great experience. A technician was scheduled for just hours after my call. Alex was on time, polite, and super helpful. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a quote $184 less than the previous quote I'd been given by another company. He answered all my questions and showed me how to clean the orifices on my stove top to keep the burners burning efficiently. The problem was the igniter on my oven. That didn't make sense to me, so he patiently explained why that was the case and kept explaining until I fully understood. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. Danny is AWESOME and we'll never use anyone else!!! We have used Danny several times over the last six years for our rentals, and every time he has responded quickly and taken good care of us. Just recently we had issues with both our microwave and refrigerator (a week apart), and both times he was able to tell us over text message what was wrong and saved us two service calls! I don't think any other appliance repair company would do that...instead they would come out and charge us a service fee just to tell us the same thing Danny did! I am so happy to know that there is still honest people out there, two techs came to look at my dishwasher and both told me a motor needs to be replaced but both were giving me a really high price for the motor, the dishwasher is fairly new so I didn't want to throw it away, after seeing good reviews from this company I gave them a call, the lady said that there is a service charge but well it was worth it, Alex came and told me my Motor is fine and that there is something stuck, he pulled it out and sure there was piece of glass stuck in the motor, I will not call anyone else but these guys. Alex, did a great job of coming in and fixing a problem with our built in microwave. Didn't take long for him to diagnose and repair for a reasonable price. The only issue was with the secretary who stated we were on the schedule from 11am-1pm but failed to actually make the appointment. Thankfully, my husband called shortly after 11 am after not getting a call back as previously stated by the secretary about a qoute. After canceling my Home warranty I knew i was going to be in trouble for any type of upcoming repairs but I'm greatful a friend of mine recommended me these guys. My JennAir Oven stopped working after a self clean cycle I had just run. The lights were out I went on the back of the house to check the breaker and everything was fine. I called Danny's to have them look at it. Guy came and diagnosed the issue with a bad thermal fuse. Which he had in his truck a couple of hours later, my oven was up and running. My kitchenAid dishwasher is only 2 years old and it flooded my kitchen after hours or mopping I knew I had to get this thing fixed I called KitchenAid and they told me it'd be a week before could come and fix it. Nothing but great service from these guys, I called them again to service my freezer where I store all my catch for the week and I was worried that they were going to be thawing out over the weekend. Danny came in a last minute call on Friday to check on the weird behaviour of my refriderator/freezer. I was told in advance that he would charge me $85 for the visit to make a diagnostic.
