Danny's Automotive is the most reputable repair shop I've done business with. They diagnose and repair without upselling unnecessary services just to make extra $$$. Took my vehicle in for a break (noise) issue and was advised that the break pad ear didn't have any "grease", they lubed it checked the remaining pads (all the way around) and sent me on my way with a noise free ride... Somehow most of the bolts holding my pickup's transmission came loose. A simple fix with a hoist to lift the vehicle. A shop on Jackson Hwy wanted to drop the transmission "To check for damage" (I'll guarantee they would have found something they "needed" to "fix" and wanted $1,300 - 1,600 for the work. Fulton Ave was next with a quote of $380. Neither of those shops even looked at the problem! Then my sister recommended Danny's. He looked at the transmission mounts and said, "Ah easy fix, $65." I can't say the only but I will say one of the FEW honest repair shops you will ever find. read more

Needed to get my neglected brakes fixed, called the Orangevale location on Tuesday afternoon, had an appointment for Wednesday afternoon, slept through my alarm (I work a late shift) and showed up over an hour late for my appointment. They didn't skip a beat, got me in anyway (despite looking very busy). assessed the situation (pads and rotors for rear brakes) and had my brakes fixed in around 2 hours for less than half of what I was expecting to have to pay. This is by far the best experience I've had with professional auto repair in over 20 years of driving. Yelp should add a sixth star just for Danny's. read more

I visited the Orangevale Danny's Automotive to help find out what the noise is underneath my car about 2 weeks ago. I was graciously greeted by Mike. He quickly assisted me and took care of the "noise" problem!! Mike removed the underside panel that was making the scraping noise AND did NOT charge me a dime!! Furthermore, Mike even offered to replace the underside car panel when I get the parts from my Mercedes car dealership!! I wish I could give Danny's Automotive on Greenback TEN STARS! The extra care they gave my vehicle (with same-day service) was really impressive! I just bought this older, used vehicle, I didn't know what to expect for the first oil change. Todd saw how incredibly filthy the air filter was, so he pulled out the cabin filters as well and Mike showed them to me, so I could see what I had been breathing! Yikes! (I am not sure how any previous shop that did an oil change would not have see those disgusting filters, but I am SO grateful that these guys went above and beyond) Their charges were SO reasonable that I wasn't sure I was reading the invoice right. They could be charging a lot more for their quality of work. This shop is top-notch, run by honest, competent guys with integrity and your best interests at heart. I am extremely, thoroughly impressed, with the extremely phenomenal quality and knowledge of the entire team. Mike was especially phenomenal, 110% above and beyond. I had my suspension serviced, they not only fixed the rear suspension with the issue, but they went above and beyond, and serviced all the issues, rather than the one requested. They replaced all my plastic trim clips that I lost and broke, and the car runs so perfect. I was extremely impressed with the price as well. I think i've found my mechanic! I spoke with the manager Michael about getting a few things done in my car; brakes, electrical and a squeaky clutch. he was able to spot out that my brakes/rotors were in perfect condition and didn't need replacing. i'm not sure what maneuver he used to recalibrate my brakes but they are no longer making any noise! more importantly he saw the my timing belt was severely cracked and could break any moment. i had a new belt from a previous car and he was able to install it into mine. thank you Michael, my car runs super smooth and efficient! in short, honest, informative, solid work, fairly priced, and friendly! definitely will be returning in the future! read more

Set up a time to drop off our old Ford F150 for some routine maintenance through yelp. Communication with the guys there was so easy and not stressful at all. Drop off and all communication about the truck was also straightforward, very honest, and easy. They gave us a few options and we picked the one that made sense to us, they did the work and before we knew it they were done. Just an overall pleasure to deal with, and I hate having to take my car in for repairs lol.
