I rolled in a few minutes before my reservation time and they went ahead and got me seated while I was waiting for everyone else and my party doubled from the time. I got the RSVPs and made the reservation until they got there so they were able to push them tables together for us at the last minute. Devon was our server and he was absolutely amazing. They were out of a few items which devastated a few of my friends, but everything that we got from the appetizers and the drinks to the entrées, everything was absolutely fantastic! So much so that we forgot to take many pictures. I got the pork tenderloin and gnocchi and this was life-changing.!

Okay, I give this place 5 stars for their customer service and food flavor, even with the negative side at the end of this review. They make all their pasta in house, which I love! They were having an event in the main room, but still gave us all the attention we needed. Loved their menu selections! Super helpful server. We were served focaccia bread, which unfortunately was cold...seemed like an odd choice, but maybe that's not normal. We ordered the bolognese and chicken Parmesan, but subbed the marinara for vodka sauce. It came out in around 15 minutes. My friend and I were sharing our food, and so we each gave some to the other to try. I noticed after giving her some of my chicken parm that the chicken looked odd (low light, so I wasn't sure). I cut into the middle and noticed it was still very raw in the middle. Told her not to eat it, but she'd already had a bite. Thankfully it was the end piece and nothing bad ever happened to her! We showed the waiter and he started a whole new order for me. The manager came over and profusely apologized and said my meal would be covered by them. I've been to places before where things like this happen and no one ever comes to apologize, so this leadership was what kept the 5 star review here. Took longer this time to cook, but was happy about that haha. When it came out, it was delicious! Sadly though the pasta was a little firmer than al dente, it was marinara instead of vodka sauce, and the noodle was thinner than the first round. Which was just humorous later haha. But nice to try both sauces! Vodka sauce was definitely the way to go though! So order that if you're ever here! They came out once we were finished and told us both of our meals were covered because we weren't able to eat together. So 11/10 for customer service. Thanks for a delicious meal, even with the chicken error. I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

Great experience and food at Danny's Italian. We enjoyed mixed drinks, calamari, Caesar salad, and veal meatball/pasta. We personally didn't enjoy the veal but everything else was delicious, including the best tiramisu I've had in years. Once recommendation would be to serve warm focaccia instead of cool bread.

Thought had already reviewed this restaurant. We had been there at least four times since it opened…read morea couple years ago. The salads are one of the best parts and the lobster ravioli are sublime, but pricey. Otherwise, they have combination plates that are very reasonable and no more than what you'd pay it somewhere like the chain Olive Garden. I love the ambience -- it's in an "improving" part of town but once you step inside, it's charming.

I started with a soup, while my brother started with a salad. They were served with these garlic rolls, which were absolutely delicious to eat both alone and with the soup. Then came time for the entrees. I got the Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana, while my brother got the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. My Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana had a delicious mix of flavor and spice which I enjoyed every bite of, while my brother enjoyed his Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Additionally, we had thought from looking online that this would be one of our pricier meals out, but Cafe Italia actually ended up being a great value, as our meals included a soup or salad and rolls, and the portions were so generous, I needed to pack some of my entree away to eat in the morning. In short, we wholeheartly recommend Cafe Italia, both because the food is excellent but also because the portions are so large they are an excellent value. We are glad we chose to go here and would definitely come back here if in the area again.

We wanted Italian. And this looked like the place to go with all five star reviews…read more First the parking. There is a lot of free parking in the adjacent Stadium Park Plaza garage. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant though from there, as there is no access from the first floor. But from the 2nd and 3rd floor there is access using the elevator. The bulb in the elevator area needs to be replaced because it's burned out, and all dark like a scene from a horror movie. The restaurant faces the ballpark stadium Inside the restaurant there weren't many customers on a weekday for dinner. It was our waitresses second day and she messed up quite a lot. Like the bill/check had us all ordering drinks and extra meat with our pasta, but we didn't do any of that. But she was nice about it all, and even comp'd us a $5 beer which I pointed out to her that she didn't add to the bill yet (that being the one and only omission in the midst of all the wrong add-ons). The fried calamari appetizer was good. Only the rings. No arms. The pomodoro sauce was nice. But overall it was just an average dish and much better at other places. The New York strip was good. But they didn't have asparagus. That would be ok if not for the fact that they only have 3 sides to choose from: roasted potatoes, rice, and asparagus. So it was either double potatoes or the rice. So we got the rice. And it was super boring, and tasted overcooked and chewy. The steak and potatoes were good though. The kid's Alfredo was good too. But the carbonara was kinda bland. The waitress and said it was a white sauce but upon checking it was butter sauce she told us. But it was really not worth it. The complimentary bread they served with the meal tasted like pretzel bread. Kinda hard and chewy. But hot. It was good. It comes with olive oil for dipping. Over $100 for 3 people. It was kinda steep. And add to that a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Well that really was like salt in the wound. Is all of bowling green like that with credit surcharges? Sure hope not.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back for dinner sometime. We sat outside and there was a concert at the farmers market next door. So it was really good evening.
