After driving by numerous times, I decided to pop in and get a quick lunch to-go. I saw that there is an online ordering system through their website, but I wasn't sure what I wanted until I got there. There were so many good items to choose from and there are daily lunch specials offered as well. I didn't want a huge lunch, so I went for the small meatball parmigiana sub. It was probably one of the best ones I've ever had and it was just the right size. The mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce was the right portion for the sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. The quick service was appreciated and I got a note to try out one of the pizzas next time. Apparently, it's one of the bests in town. It's reasonable on cost if you're looking to fix the Italian craving on a budget. I'll be back! read more

We've been searching for the best deep dish pizza (as Midwesterners, we shun the thin, burnt crust disaster that masquerades as pizza), and we found it at Danny's Pizza Kitchen. We ordered the pizza online and selected 1/2 sausage & pepperoni, and double cheese. Good pizza needs a nice thick crust and lots of gooey cheese. And a delicious sauce. Danny's pizza checked all the boxes. When we arrived to pick up our pizza, we noticed several other people doing the same thing. It was a positive indicator that the pizza was popular. The only downside was that the pizza took longer to bake than estimated. The cook said it was due to the extra cheese and the thicker crust. Great things are worth the wait. So the question is whether to continue our quest for the perfect deep dish pizza or just continue to enjoy the nirvana we found at Danny's? By the way, they also offer a full range of Italian food. One of my favorite pizza places in Boynton. Their prices are more reasonable than most of the competition, the quality is great, and it's become the regular pizza place for my family. The only thing I'll recommend to the business is to get better carryout containers for the fries, like the Styrofoam containers with vents, because the fries are consistently soggy. read more

Angry!! After a year of not ordering from Dannys Pizza due to messed up orders, I decided to give it one more try. I should never have done that. I just ordered $40 worth of food online Dannys Pizza. We were in the area to go to the Boynton Mall and discovered this restaurant nearby from the "Top 50" 2019 West Palm list. We decided to stop here for lunch before doing our errands. This restaurant is located on the end of a strip of stores on the north side of the street. Free parking is out front. It's not very big inside -- not that many tables, but we had no problem finding a seat. They do a big takeout/pickup business.You order at the counter and pay and they bring you your food. Service is friendly and efficient. They have a number of lunch specials offered daily from 11 am to 4 pm. Choices include slices, salads, sandwiches, entrees and a pasta or two. Prices range from $5.95-$8.95. We both chose their slice of pizza and salad option. The house salad is a mix of iceberg, romaine, and spinach with cukes, tomatoes, black olives, carrots, and onions. I chose to have romaine lettuce only and no onions. You have your pick of salad dressing as well. It's a nice size side salad -- no skimping here. The slice of pizza was huge! It could have been two slices in another restaurant. Served hot and very good. We found out later that they cut their 20" pizzas into 6 slices. I liked that we didn't have to go searching for any condiments either -- every table already had oregano, grated cheese, and hot pepper flakes along with salt and pepper on each table. We got to meet Danny, the personable owner and namesake of the restaurant. He was excited to be on the Top 50 West Palm 2019 list, especially since they've only been open about a year. I spotted a sign for 'Danny's' in the strip mall next to where I took my son for his first dental appointment. Who doesn't want a special pizza date after that? Or anytime, really! I wondered if this could be THE Danny's Pizza Kitchen I had read about, and it was! My son and I ordered the lunch special: 2 cheese slices with a soda. The slices were giant! Delicious, cheesy, crispy. Sauce slightly sweet. Like most pizza places, the eat-in space is small, but it was pleasant to dine in. Even with our small order, we were treated so well. A woman was so sweet and brought us everything we needed and more. I love received real silverware instead of the plastic stuff. She brought my son a colored plastic cup of water with a kid sized straw; he definitely loved this more than the pizza! She wrapped up our leftover pizza in a paper bag and paper plate, which I really appreciate as it is so environmentally friendly! It appears that Danny's has a drive-thru pickup window... awesome?!?! Not sure if this is helpful, but my son desperately wanted a cookie, which they did not have. The display cases next to the cash register had very little in them. Probably couldn't hurt to carry some random things that appeal to kids, easily seen in this window, just in case... because if my son had seen cookies or other sweets he would like, I would have bought them! read more

Pizza was so good I ordered twice in one week!!! I had been wanting to try some good New York style pizza in the area and had seen the high ratings on this place so I decided to give it a try. I called in to takeout an order and decided to go with the XL (half meat lovers, half cheese), and an order of garlic knots. The staff was helpful and the pizza was ready in the 15 min they stated! The XL slices are huge, and the whole pizza will easily feed 3 people, more depending on how hungry they are. The pizza was great and authentic New York style! The sauce is also really good and stood out to me. The garlic knots were also really good. I liked the place so much that I got another takeout order later on in the week, that time going with a large, no garlic knots. The large slices are smaller, but easier to handle than the XL. I ordered a veggie white pizza to take out and bring to my vegetarian cousin who lives nearby in Boynton We both loved the pizza, cooked just right and generous portions for toppings. Happy that Danny's Pizza Kitchen does delivery on time and its hot and good. Yesterday ordered a few things for my pajama party. My friends loved the food that I ordered. 2 large cheese pizzas and 1 veggie pizza minus the olives. The pizza slices were delicious even after a few hours, they tasted great. Also ordered dozen garlic rolls with marinara sauce. These were just ok because after awhile got pretty hard in texture, but you can lightly warm them up on the microwave to make them softer. I would order from Danny's again because the quality of the pizza was really good. I always used to pass this place while driving on Boynton Beach Blvd, glad that I gave them a try. This is the closest to Long Island Pizza that I've found in Florida so far. The Sicilian pie is so good & there is always so much for another day. Danny and Nderim, (looks like the owners), I took out a pizza this evening and upon getting home, I found that the pizza was not fully cooked as the dough under the cheese and sauce was not fully cooked. The bottom side of the pizza was cooked. I ate the crust area, and a small piece until I realized the dough was not cooked. Stomach does not feel good from this.
