Garlic knots was great! Salads were ok but not life changing. Supreme pizza was better than the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Nice solid taste.

Been on our list to eat here for awhile. Finally made it there. The pizza is very good. We got the meat lovers that had 6 different meats and a pepperoni pizza all was very good. The prices are fair. Service was fantastic and fast. Definitely be back soon. read more

Not just New York style pizza but AWESOME authentic New York style Italian food!! If you sneak in early enough on a Friday or Saturday night you can get free zeppoles with pick up. A lady came in and asked if they delivered, was told no, she left and an employee said that he would have said,"get out bitch" and they all laughed. Nice, with other customers sitting in the place. This is our second time having dinner here. There was a mini car show that brought us in we were looking at the cars and my son wanted to eat here. Listen, the food is great!!!! Good sized wings and flavor was on point along with the sauce not too much not too little. Pizza once again was awesome!! But what did it for me was I forgot my wallet in the booth before I even knew I forgot it, I didn't even catch his name but the sweet worker was walking in my backyard (where we were) to give me my wallet!!!!!! AND you couldn't meet a nicer guy! I had the lunch special (2 cheese slices and a fountain drink @ $4.85 + tax) offered 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily. Danny's is amazing! What makes a great "neighborhood" pizza restaurant? Number one, the pizza, of course, and it is the best NYC pizza there is in the Inlet. The sauce is delicious and flavorful, the crust perfectly crafted, and the pie has the perfect amount of quality cheese. Their meat pizza is our favorite with a delicious shaved sausage that makes the pie so flavorful. Number two, the people. Danny is an extremely friendly and genuine person. From the moment we met him we could tell he really cares about his customers and their experience. We were visiting my father-in-law who lives in the area and ended up at Danny's three times in a week. We loved their pizza, subs, pasta dishes and rice balls (if you haven't had them give them a try you won't be disappointed). My poor experience at this location is that my wife and I decided to try Danny's lunch special. We''ve lived in the area for 10 years, I'm from NY, and know all the local pizza places. When we tried Danny's two slices of pizza, we compared it to our other favorite pizza places not too far away, Aroma's (more flavorful, with basil and olive oil), and Franco NY Pizza (much more "abundanza"). We found Danny's pizza crust dough to be very "blah" with too much of a flour taste. We wish it would have been better, but this is our honest opinion. We will not go back again. The best thing I can say, is that it his lunch special is 15 cents less than Franco's NY Pizza. read more
