The chicken was disgusting thin pieces of meat not seasoned nor was it even meaty...the shrimp were cooked to perfection and also unseasoned as u can see the noodles water was in the paint was supposed to be oil and garlic‍ I work three blocks away for almost a year and never ever eat outside for this was the worse. The bread wasn't toasted and I waited over a half a hour for this food. $42 later and the best part of the meal was the spinach.

    Pepperoni pizza

Decent pizza spot right by the L train at Montrose. Pepperoni slice was piping hot but a bit too greasy, the service was just OK. Nothing special, but convenient when you've had a drink or two and hopping on the subway. About $5 a slice but it's definitely not 5 times as good as a dollar slice!

I order out this Pizzaria twice and the reason I give them stars, is because they follow up on the order I placed. On Uber Eats app menu hasn't been update so I ordered Burrata, and they didn't have that menu anymore. They called and let me know and I get an ordinary Caprese salad instead. The vinegar is not that great and too oily. I actually replace it with my Balsamic glaze. Penne a la Vodka is good and pasta is al dente. Fried Calamari is also good. Mussels is okay, just regular. Even I ordered from Uber Eats app but the restaurant use Relay Delivery instead so it confused me what app should I give delivery guy the tips? Anyway, I gave the tips to one of the app and hope the delivery guy get it.

Good pizza. Not the greatest. But good.

Pizza was ok. Staff is friendly! Corner location makes it ideal for a quick pick me up Great for a quick snack or a meal. $3 a slice.

What tf is this? They delivered a soggy pizza, slightly uncooked, with a third of the little cheese they used IN the box instead of on the pizza. Some parts of the pizza have no cheese, like at all. It's so soggy that it left the box moist on the bottom. I can't even cut it properly because it's so soggy! The dough is too soft to cut!

I have been a long time customer at Danny's but lately there's something wrong with the quality of their pizza. Tonight I spent 50 some dollars and waited an hour and a half for a pizza that was cold and overcooked (the crust was very tough and almost un edible) like it sat around a little while before it was delivered. The Caesar salad was fine - the mozzarella sticks, eh... We ate what we could of the pizza (gave most of the crust to the puppies) because we were too hungry to wait another hour and a half for something else. This was a 1-2 star meal but I give them a 3 out of loyalty giving room for improvement. ALSO.... Don't order from the website ordering system. They offer very little or no support for your order. I recommend ordering from Seamless. At least they guarantee the product and make it easier for you in case you receive sub par food. (No. I do not work for seamless or any of its subsidiaries!). My order number on menufy was: 60721757

    Regular Cheese Pizza

Wow! We ordered a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza and I forgot how good NYC slices were. The delivery was super quick, food was still very warm and pizza was phenomenal. This is the first local spot I've tested and now I'm wondering if I need to look further lol. Either way, this is a great place to get a huge and great slice: We also ordered garlic knots and they were great too. Highly recommended.

    Grandma Pizza

Decided to order a grandma pie because I have always heard good things about Danny's. Unfortunately, this pie was super disappointing. It looks good in the photo but the taste is not there. The sauce tastes and looks like cheap marinara sauce and had chunks of tomatoes in it. The only somewhat redeeming factors were that the crust was crispy and the delivery was on time. Won't be ordering again.

    Spinach and Mushroom Pizza
    Irish M.

Local pizzeria in the East Williamsburg neighborhood located in the corner of the subway station. I had the mushroom and spinach slice, the pizza was ok but do not forget to order their garlic knots with marinara dipping sauce. Their garlic knots is packed with flavor. You can dine in or it's great for a quick bite. Homemade sangrias are also available.

    Yaya M.

The cafe is very nice & very clean , classic Italian food and great lunch specials ! The home made sangria is to die for :) . Food is delicious and quick service . I recommend this place to everyone :)

Not impressed. They didn't have any regular cheese pizza when I went in and the service was borderline anti-social.

Situated at the corner of East 15th Street and Avenue J, the establishment was owned and managed by Domenico DeMarco (1936-2022), but now his family continues that legacy. Food critics and bloggers frequently rank it among the top pizzerias in New York City. Di Fara has received numerous accolades, including being named the "Best pizza in New York" by publications such as New York and Serious Eats. The New York Times described the restaurant as "one of the most acclaimed and sought-after pizza shops in New York City." In 2011, Zagat ranked it as the top pizza restaurant in the city, and in 2013, Frommer's called its pizza "the Best Hand-Made Pizza in New York City." Chef Anthony Bourdain also expressed admiration for the restaurant's pizza. I had long hoped to visit Di Fara, so I decided to make a trip from Connecticut. Upon entering, my son and I observed that it was quite busy. There is also a window for ordering, but we chose to go inside to order our food to experience the atmosphere fully. We each ordered a freshly prepared Sicilian slice. Unlike some places, there was no pre-made pizza on display. Each slice is made to order, and it takes about twenty-five minutes to prepare. When we received our pizza, it was notably greasy. The Sicilian slices resembled a full meal, topped with garlic and pepperoni. The garlic was quite prominent and flavorful, adding a nice punch which I liked. The pepperoni was crispy, and the undercarriage had a nice crunch, though it was also quite oily. In my personal opinion, it wasn't the best slice I've ever tasted. However, I understand that when the owner, Dom, was alive, the pizza was considered exceptional by many. I would rate it around 3.5 stars, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience pizza from one of New York's most iconic establishments.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Not sure what the menu currently says, but the menu from just 3 months ago said it's 18% for a party under 6. Maybe they've changed it. Not sure. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
