I love this place. Local joint been over here for 40(?) years. Ask for a slice and they'll heat it up. I usually get pepperoni and add some chili flakes, parm cheese, and garlic powder. New York pizza can't be beat! CASH ONLY

    Plain cheese pizza slice

The pizza is good. I just wish they made the pizza stayed in the over a little bit longer. Their service was good, I think the girl was training, but she did good. I think that's the reason the pizza didn't stay longer. I did in-fact re-heat it when I got home. Besides that there's no complain. Price: 1 slice - $2.50, pepperoni- $3.25

Pizza here is good! Tried many. Cheese pizza is soooo good too! I love a good slice of cheese pizza. Also the philly cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, and mayo is perfect! Def a great spot. Cash only.

It's a pizza shop. It's right next to the Tompkins Houses Projects. It's not good. They have french fries for cheap if you're in the mood and live within the block. But I don't recommend eating the pizza unless you're in a hurry... Since I found Rocco Pizza 8 months ago I haven't been back to this place. And when I used to go here I'd have to add some of my own cheese at home, because they only use some weird greasy thing that's kind of like cheese. They don't have parmesan cheese and the hot sauce is literally watered down. It's next to a chinese place that I'd choose over this place any day of the week. And I really don't even like that Chinese place...

The heart shaped pizza that they made fresh for me on Valentine's Day!!

Best pizza in BK! Huge fan of their slice! They throw it in the oven for you and have it out last. This is a great local spot!

I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes, barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. Cash only, BYOB (with rules depending on how many people), and a time limit on the table. Know what you want when you sit down. Menu is easy, pizza, calzones, sometimes pasta. Simple. Is it worth waiting in line for - maybe - if you have 2-3 hours free and nothing else to do and it's a nice day, sure. But honestly can't say I am running back to do it again. Waiting in line to get added to a waitlist that still doesn't always guarantee you will sit down to eat at the requested time - we were seated 40 mins after checking in (unusually long, never had more then 20 mins or so in past visits) but still a strange system, keeps the spot exclusive I'd guess. Have visited several times and always have had a good meal and the prices are very fair. Seating is not super comfortable and they pack you in for real, the restaurant is also unnecessarily dark and loud - But not in a bad way? I can't explain it but the very delicious pizza makes up for the weird ambiance and all the rules... definitely something to experience atleast once.

I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
