Went to Dan seafood and chicken , the banana pudding didn't have any bananas in it and it had a strong horrible taste. Also the inside of the tilapia fish was dark. Went inside to inquire about a refund or exchange to be given . To be shown the photo attached below stating no returns or exchanges can be made. However , there is no sign in the drive thru advertising no refunds or exchanges all sales are final . The fait time for food was ridiculous given we waited about 20-30 minutes outside for food . When no other customers were present . I was also charged for honey mustard sauce when my meal came with chicken tenders. Overall the experience was unpleasant. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone .

This is the $1.00 charge this little container that they wouldn't add to the rice.

What a scum bag low life joint. They are some shady ahh penny pinching bums. First they tried to automatically give themselves tips until I caught on to their game and then denied it. Then they try to add on stuff that you didn't order and then try to say that it was a mistake and now get this they nickel and dime you for anything and high priced too they charge $1 for some seasoning for wings and then they do it without letting you know until you see it on the receipt. I asked to sub fries for fried rice but they can't make it spicy but they can give you chili sauce, $2 for subbing the to rice and $1 for chili sauce. That explains why this place is a run down POS. That explains why nobody eats here and why it smells like poop at the front door. You lost my business scummy bums I won't be here again.

I've been coming to this spot since high school back in the early 2000s--this was *the* go-to spot for fried fish back in the day. So while I was in Ft. Worth, I figured I'd give it another try after so many years. The service was okay, but there was a bit of a language barrier since English is their second language--not a big deal, but it's worth mentioning. Now for the food... it could have been fresher, honestly. We ordered the egg rolls, fried fish with fried rice, and a two-piece dark. The fried rice was different from what I remembered--overcooked, lacking flavor, and no veggies in sight. The egg rolls? I could've done without them. But the chicken? That had a solid crunch when you bit into it--definitely the highlight of the meal. It wasn't terrible, but not quite what it used to be. It'll probably be a while before I go back--not my first choice, but not a total miss either.

Pretty good fried fish and chicken. I liked it a little bit more than Lisas honestly and the price fit the quality of food. Fish and Chicken came out fresh and hot and had a good taste, they provided tartar for the fish and ranch for the chicken without me having to ask which is always appreciated. Fries were nothing to write home about but a nice portion was provided. I also ordered some of their egg rolls and they were actually really good! They threw in some duck sauce for them and I thought they were a nice addition to the meal. All in all it's about what I expected and I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other menu items like their boiled shrimp or grilled tilapia!

The food is always fresh. The Thai chicken wings are my favorite crisp and the right amount of heat. The fried fish is consistently delicious with large filets. And if you have not tried their fried rice you are missing out on something special. Service is nice the owner coming out checking on our meals was nice. This place is super casual with good food.

Let's just start with the customer service and I'll say the owner was such a nice man very polite and attentive! I asked for extra extra spicy on the shrimp fried rice and he made sure to make it for me, and let me tell you he did not disappoint. 1/2 lb headless shrimp with one corn and potato it was very tasty just a bit salty but it was delicious still.. with a light spice.. for the price it's a deal for sure . Most definitely be coming for more. Maybe next time I'll just try regular on the shrimp fried rice just so I can try it with out the spice but I'll most definitely get it spicy again ! Over all 10/10 service food 8/10 just cause my seafood boil was salty.

The chicken itself was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with that signature seasoning that keeps you coming back for more. But let me tell you--the fried pickles are hands down my absolute favorite! Perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and served hot with that irresistible crunch. I could honestly order those alone and be happy. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and the service matched the quality of the food--friendly, fast, and attentive. If you're craving real, flavorful fried chicken with a kick, Gus's is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

They are still on the DL, so please continue to spread the word and support this lovely small business! EVERYTHING WAS MADE AND DONE WITH SUCH LOVE!! Mary Sue taught these workers well. Order was piping hot. They definitely cook as they go and don't let the food sit under a heat lamp. Tbh, the food was on the spicier side, so if you have a superrrr low spice tolerance like me, try to get extra ranch instead of Mary's signature sauce to balance it out. Chicken and pickle on a stick was a fun and new twist to try! I don't like pickles but my friend said it was good and would buy again. She said the pickles tasted like they make them in house (fresh!!). Not a bad price either ($4.99 I think.. might've been $6.99). Dough boys were yummy! A good glazed donut without the taste of fried oil. If I was craving sugary bread, this is the best dessert to soothe it. The regular roll that comes in the box is truly yummy as well. I got the peach sweet tea and boy it was indeed a true Texas sweet tea. SWEEET!! Delicious. The turn into the restaurant is quite a sharp turn and easy to miss, so slow down so you don't pass it.

From the outside, I expected it to be a smaller spot, but it was actually much bigger than I thought. Everything inside was clean, and even though there were a few people ahead of us in line, the process was simple--you order first, then grab your food and find a table. The cashier who helped us was super nice, which made the experience even better. We both ordered lemonade teas--one peach and one watermelon--and they were honestly a 10/10. Not too sweet, more on the tangy side, which I loved. It wasn't overly crowded--maybe around 10-12 people inside, with a couple more eating outside--so it felt comfortable. We ordered the chicken with the sweet spicy flavor, along with fries, mac and cheese, pickle sticks, and rolls. Everything came out fresh and tasted really good. There was about a 10-15 minute wait, but that's expected for fresh food and totally worth it. The presentation was great, and overall the food hit. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dough babies, they were a little too thick for me, just a bit too much bread, although the flavor itself was still good. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.
