A must visit if you feel like having delicious Mexican seafood! The service is always great and the food is so tasty! I love the way they serve Topo Chico! So refreshing with lime, salt and tajin! Ask for it preparado! The only downside is their parking lot is quite small. If you are going on the weekends, it's best to go during non busy hours. This place is always packed. The food is terrific and the service is very friendly. They recently remodeled to accommodate more seating but expect to wait still if you go during prime dinner time. I love the bacon wrapped shrimp and my wife loves the ceviche tostados. A couple of beers to wash it down with and you are enjoying your life for a bit. One of my go to Mexican spots. read more

Food is good, service has gotten better. The wait time wasn't too bad, about 25 mns for 2 on a Sunday afternoon. If you get cold easy don't sit on the right side of the restaurant (the side when you walk in). The air vents hit the tables directly so you might need a sweater. The salsa was good a bit on the spicier side. The caldo was good and hot and the coctel de camarón had a decent amount of shrimp. When we want seafood/mariscos we always prefer this place to the others around Fort Worth. read more

The place had quite a few groups and kept unceasing during the lunch hour. We chose the Sopa Marinara and The lunch Beef Fajitas. Chips and salsa were brought to the table. The salsa is very good, good flavor and a hint of spiciness. The soup was delicious! It has great flavor. The fish, octopus, crab legs, and baby scallops were cooked perfectly, not over cooked. She didn't include the shrimp. The soup is FULL of seafood!! It comes with a half loaf of bread to dip into the soup. Delicious!! The beef fajitas were also very tasty. The meat had very good flavor. The guacamole was also good. I really liked the ranch beans. They were just a little spicy, yum! I wasn't so much for the refried beans (I am not a fan of rice, but maybe next time) as they were a little bland. You pay at the front when you are done eating. Overall, the meal was delicious!! The wait was not the best waited about an hour but the food was worth it. A table of 8 is not ideal for a small restaurant like this. The waitress was attentive but the alcohol did take a while to hit the table. First time here and it's a mixed review because of the different plates. One plate the garlic shrimp, rice and Mexican salad. Okay the shrimp was good but the rest of the plate was no bueno. Bland rice and what the heck Mexican salad which is just lettuce 2 slices of tomatoes and 2 slices of white onions. This is not a salad it a waste of lettuce and those 4 slices. Come on at least they could have put avacado, grilled slices veggies and beans with the plate. If any plate says rice and salad then you will be disappointed, don't order. The other plate was better, the grilled fish which was 2 fillets and a side of rice, beans, pico, guac, and tortillas. This plate was better but the onions and bell pepper slices needed to be grilled more. The place says seafood but the only way to get the crab legs is in the soup no other plate that comes with crab legs. All in all it was a bad for the one plate and good for the other plate. read more

Going down Seminary past La Gran Plaza, there is a bunch of Mexican restaurants as you go down Seminary. Barely reviewed or not even on Yelp. Vallarta is a blue building with bars on the window. Don't judge a book by it's cover! No dipping queso, sorry for you quesoholics. The salsa makes up for it. They have a lot of seafood. Mostly fried, some grilled. We came last Friday and again on Sunday. First visit, my son had fajita plate, husband had tacos al carbon with beef, and I had the Filete a la parrilla. Spicy grilled catfish and it was delicious. The fajitas were tender and really good as well as the tacos al carbon. The refried rice and beans are so good. Probably close to being my favorite with Tortilandia. Including, charro beans. 2nd visit, husband got the grilled catfish and I got the Carne Asada. So good and flavorful. The seafood soup looks amazing with crab legs in it. My brother and I had the grilled catfish fillets which was served on a bed of grilled onions on a fajita plate. With a side of fresh guacamole, fresh pico, mexican rice, fresh tortilla and amazing charro beans! My husband had the combo enchiladas, refried beans and Mexican rice.
