This is my second time here. Never disappoints. The Brussels sprouts are amazing. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail is out of this world. The red fish was so tasty. Go for happy hour 3-6 for apps.

We visited Plank Provisions at The Shops at Clearfork and had an amazing experience. This review will be brief since we only tried one dish: the Atlantic Salmon. My recommendation is to enjoy the salmon without wine or any other drink--just water. If you rinse your mouth before each bite, you'll notice an incredible burst of flavor every time. We ordered the salmon cooked medium, and both the fish and the risotto stayed perfectly warm throughout the meal. The hostess and our waiter were outstanding and even suggested what may be the best table in the entire restaurant. The total for two salmon entrées, including tip, was around $72, and it was absolutely worth it.

Redfish deliciousness. They had me at brown butter.

Happy hour family fun at Plank! We enjoy the menus and sophisticated, bright, and friendly vibes. Service is always attentive and friendly. Sushi rolls are fresh and tasty. The shrimp toast is very delicious and shareable. Hubby enjoyed his Port Old Fashioned. Cheers to this local gem for the entire family.

    Espresso martini - heaven

Wow. I'm so full I can barely move. Service - beyond excellent. Ambiance - sea-worthy with sky constellations. Love it! Food on a scale of 1 to 10? 12. Before 8 go on, here are my disappointments. These disappointments pull down my yelp rating from a 6 star to a 5 star. 1) Parking is horrible. Not just horrible, but horribly horrible. Be prepared to park away, so it's not a good idea to wear flip flops or cute uncomfortable shoes. If luck is on your side and you snatched a parking spot up close, go buy a lottery ticket! 2) I love the inside decor and the big windows. But...where the Plank is located, theres not a lot to look at...except for the T-mobile store across the street. Which actually reminded me to pay my bill. I had an espresso martini that was To. Die. For. Not an over-exaggeration! I went in for the redfish ceviche and dessert, but ended up staying for drinks and lunch. The redfish appetizer is excellent. The bacon and jalapeno wrapped shrimp with dirty rice and green beans was magnificent. The Butterscotch Budino dessert was fabulous! And the Oak Cliff pressed coffee was divine. I even sweetened it with brown sugar cubes. So tasty!!!

The establishment is warm and cozy. I had the pleasure of meeting three friendly and professional staff members. I'll start with dessert. If you like peanut butter you'll love the chocolate terrine. It was plated beautifully and the peanut butter ice cream was robust. The item I enjoyed the most during my visit was the redfish ceviche. The leche de tigre, avocado, red onion, and black garlic were fresh and flavorful. There was a hint of spice and the tostadas added a nice crunch to the dish. The calamari was fried perfectly. However, for $15, I had better seasoned calamari for half the price. The blackened catfish alone gets 1 star. It's the primary reason for my overall 3 star review. I've ordered blackened catfish from many restaurants over the years. This one is the worst! I'm not saying the catfish or entree was bad. But, for the amount I paid I expected a savory mix of spices. If you enjoy a bold, flavorful, cajun, southern comfort blackened catfish this is NOT for you. Sorry, but lack of seasoning in Cajun and Creole cuisines is disrespectful. If you receive a catfish that's blackened correctly it shows they're inconsistent with preparing menu items. I will say the way it's prepared you don't have to worry about heartburn. Note: There is retail parking on the side of the building.

When I went for lunch/brunch at Plank I did not like it at all. The food wasn't very good... My friend and I both agreed that the Smoked Fish Dip was the best thing we ordered. The two entrees was very disappointing. Especially the Jalapeno Salmon Burger... the flavor was absent. Not to mention for what we got, the price could have been better.

Came back again Tuesday for Happy Hour - had to grab the burger and oysters again. We also tried the crab dip, incredibly salty for our preference. Didn't mention to waiter as we had already sent back the beets for not liking the glaze/sauce & it totally isn't his fault. Probably just our tastebuds. Won't keep us from coming back. Just wouldn't recommend or order again. Hats off to our waiter Varon (sp?!) very nice, remembered our orders along with all the other tables he was servicing. Very attentive. Surprisingly a little bit more crowded on a Tuesday night, wasn't expecting that. But there wasn't a wait and the staff still did great, food still came out in a timely fashion.

    Oysters & Prosecco

Think is the best happy hour spot I've found for oysters in Fort Worth. I love that it's close by a lot of other shops/activities in The Shops at Clearfork. Whether you're winding down after work or warming up for dinner, this costal-chic spot delivers a perfect happy hour for seafood lovers. The chef choice oysters are $1.50 during happy hour which is everyday (yes this includes weekend days) from 3 - 6p. They have other great happy hour deals as well including $7 prosecco + 25% off wine bottles, $6 oyster shots (think Bloody Mary with a surprise) and sushi + shareable from $7. I recommend going on a weekday for minimum crowds, but I love that you can enjoy this happy hour any day of the week.

Food and staff were phenomenal. We had a small wait and they gave us a free starter for the inconvenience. The ambiance was great cute and clean. Tiffany and crystal were amazing!

    Shrimp Po' Boy

In our first visit to Clearfork in quite some time, we noticed that Plank had opened in what had previously been a high-turnover spot for restaurants here, so we opted to give it a try. Walking in, we really liked the vibe and the decor. Definitely a place you can enjoy a casual meal, happy hour, or even a nice dinner. Also liked how it has a bit more space and wasn't as loud as some of the other recent seafood additions in Fort Worth (that are also quite good), such as Walloon's and Hudson House. There are plenty of enticing items on their medium-sized menu, too many to try in one stop, so I opted for a good bellwether of any decent gulf seafood place, the Shrimp Po' Boy, which was delicious. The shrimp was fresh and fried perfectly and the remoulade hot sauce is a great addition that kicks this po' boy up a notch. Followed up with some great fries, this was a solid meal outing. So we definitely enjoyed Plank enough to want to come back, next time perhaps for some Oysters and small plates over happy hour or a light dinner.

Amazing Happy Hour eats!!! Plank offers $1 per oyster deal that you can't miss! The oysters tasted incredibly fresh and is served on a bed of ice to preserve freshness. It also comes with some meat cocktail sauce that you can drip from a pipette on to the oyster to your liking. I love the level of customization that comes with this dish. My personal favorite is the golden beets dish. Unlike regular red beets, golden beets give a much sweeter underlying taste without the earthy geosmine aftertaste that is typical of most other beets. The goat cheese and Citrus dressing brings the dish together really well with savory, sweet, and acidic notes. Calamari is a nice appetizer. Well fried and crispy. The staff was very friendly. We were quickly seated by the Host and server. Food did not take too long to come out. The restaurant was spacious and well lit with just a slight dim of ambiance. There is a free parking garage in the retail area if you're not able to find Streetside parking, which can be difficult at busier times. Will definitely return!

Wow this place is phenomenal! Went there recently for my birthday and we had a great experience. Everything from the service to the food. Some standout dishes are calamari that also has fried vegetables which is a nice touch. The beignet hushpuppies are nice but a bit dense. The standout dish for me was the grilled salmon with mushroom risotto. It's probably one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had anywhere. The cook on it was incredible as it was crispy yet not overcooked which can be a difficult balance. Overall this is a wonderful place for seafood.

I was in town for work and when I was craving seafood, a coworker/friend suggested we go to Pacific Table. We were in the mood to try a few different cocktails so Jordyn suggested we split them so we weren't drinking / wasting a full drink if we didn't like it. It's been a while since I was there and it looks like their cocktail menu rotates but the two that are still on the menu as I write this review are the Yuzu Lemon Drop and the Cucumber Martini If you're comfortable with who you're dining with, get the grilled artichokes as a starter. When I say these were grilled to perfection.. my goodness!! We split the brussels sprout salad and removed the chicken. I don't remember there being chopped egg in the salad like the menu states but the brussels sprout leaves, manchego and craisins were a great combination! I wish I would have wrote this review earlier because our main course was the special of the evening. I believe it was a miso glazed cod with lump crab. Or maybe it was a lemon butter sauce. Ahh well whatever it was it was incredible and we asked Jordyn for more sauce because it was that good. We finished the evening with a slice of yellow cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream (that also isn't on the current menu ) and we were pleasantly surprised!!

Went here with for a company dinner. It was okay…read more Cheesesticks were a win for appetizers, large portions & plenty on each serving that came out. The cesar salad was overly drenched in dressing, the dressing is good but it was a just alot. We do appreciate that there are alternative options offered not within the menu we had set, I think someone mentioned there was an alfredo & maybe another fish such as salmon? I can't remember all the reasons why we asked but I know one reason was because they said they could not cater to the individual steak preferences in large groups, made sense in an efficiency way when they explained it. What they didn't tell us after some chose not order steak for that very reason, was that after anyone who ordered steak & cut into it, they could back to cook it longer based on each individual's preference. I'm allergic to shrimp, I ordered the steak with vegetables. I did inform the waiter that I had a shrimp allergy, he was gracious & asked me a few questions to help better address my food preparation. A few minutes later another staff member, maybe a manager, comes in & thanks us for choosing there restaurant. Then he asks who has the allergy & asks the same questions the waiter asked me. It just put me on the spotlight that I (nor several of my coworkers) felt was necessary. It wasn't embarrassing but more annoying seeing how our waiter had been thorough, or come to me one on one just to reconfirm if needed. I felt bad for my coworkers because they now had genuine concern I might be exposed to something since many had shrimp dishes. I will say that I did enjoy the steak & asparagus. Dessert was delicious, a great creme brulee & the cheesecake slices were generous! Also, there were larger amounts of time between when the first person got their salad or soup to when the last person received theirs, same situation with the entrées. In both phases they basically asked who was missing what & then asked what they had. Refills & drinks, the same. Maybe they were short handed but if they were, we wished they would've communicated that so we could anticipate any timing issues. Aside from the allergy thing, the staff tending to us were very polite. Maybe it's more of a training issue higher up because they seemed to be doing their best, but right now it's a miss at this location.
