Hang out here with a couple of my friends. They have limited seating, but they were not busy on a Saturday afternoon. The establishment appears to be divided in two. One side is the seating for patrons and the other side for the cashier and brewing it. They have a huge coffee maker or roaster. They have a bunch of coffee beam sacks by the cashier and on the way to the bathroom. They appear to be bottling and labeling their own coffee. They sell coffee in tin cans with their name and logo. They have limited pastry. You get 30% off for checking in Yelp. They only had one pastry donut when we came in the afternoon, and I forgot to use the yelp coupon. Don't forget to use your Yelp coupon if you like to. read more

Dark Moon is home sweet home for my family and I! They keep getting better and better as a coffee shop and have always served the best coffee in town. This is by far my number one choice for coffee in Vegas. Their staff there are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience feel special. We happen to be in the area and decided to give this place a shot since we saw raving reviews about it. We got lattes to go. I did love the to go cups for hot drinks! Something very unique with the transparent cup. The coffee though was just not that great compared to other coffee shops. It was bold but lacked flavor. There isn't enough seating inside and the food/pastry selection was minimal. Will probably come back if I'm in the area again to try their mocktails or nitro. read more

This is a nice little cafe with easy access and cute decor. I had my coffee inside sat at the high table in front of the window and just relaxed for a while after a hectic drive on Friday this was a welcomed treat. They had music playing otherwise it's pretty quiet. The cashier was helpful in asking if I wanted any flavors in my coffee and although there is an additional fee for this , he didn't charge me and even offered water to go with my coffee saying that he never remembers to drink water and I am the same way, but I drink coffee daily so it's needed and i appreciated his suggestion. I had the vanilla/lavender blend that was yummy. I didn't know about this business before today but I would return to try another drink and enjoy the ambiance of this place read more

Overall I was pretty happy with this coffee shop-a local staple in vegas. They have a pretty decent size menu with unique findings you may not find elsewhere. Very small indoor dining space so it's probably best you take your coffee to go. read more

This is a neighborhood coffee shop that cares about the neighborhood. Excellent coffee selection. Coffee is wonderfully tasting and high in octane how we like it. Burritos are delicious with that chipotle aoli. Where the true satisfaction comes from the welcoming staff. Sage and Paco are the perfect amount of uplifting energy in the morning to help elevate your coffee experience. Dark Moon Coffee Roasters is locally owned and operated by Kyle P. Kyle deep roots into the community being born & raised in Henderson, NV. Kyle is an alumni of the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada Las Vegas & also has vast hospitality experience within Forbes 5 star hotels such as the Wynn Las Vegas for over 8 years. This experience was led to create Dark Moon Coffee Roasters to showcase the quality, art, & hospitality of what coffee can be. When Kyle is not working, he enjoys grabbing a beer at the local brewery, traveling with his wife & son to new places, or trying to fit in a round of golf!

Hi, do you guys allow customers to purchase whole beans from you?

Yes, we have a rotating selection of single origin coffee beans ready to purchase everyday.

Is this a good place to study? If so, are there outlets?

Not really, the seating is wood slab-style. Not meant to sit for long periods of time. However I was able to read a part of my book and answer emails. I loved it!

Does the shop use matcha powder to make the matcha drinks?

The matcha we use is a ceremonial grade matcha from Art Of Tea. Yes it is powder form, we whisk it fresh per order.

What's your best seller coffee?

Right now it is our Lunar Blend which is our current espresso blend of beans from Guatemala, Colombia and Ethiopia.

Do you have wifi?

Yes, right now we have a vegan gf oatmeal apricot and cranberry cookie!

Do you have outdoor seating?

We would love to but we aren’t able to accommodate any outdoor seating due to an ADA ramp/stairway being in front of our storefront.

CraftKitchen bakes all of our pastries for us! We will always have 1-2 gluten free options, right now our GF options are a Lemon Raspberry Muffin, and an oatmeal apricot cranberry cookie.

While the price point was still high, it lower than many Vegas coffee shops. They have crushed ice which is nice but I do feel like it is a bit of filler, to be honest. The drink was really good though. Despite being a crème brûlée flavored latte, it wasn't overly sweet and the espresso still came through. I'd say that this was one of the quieter coffee shops I've worked from locally, so I'd recommend it for remote workers or students.

Most coffee shops have a fairly boring interior, but this one has a definite elegant but not stuffy feel.

Bottom line? If you're looking for a fun, laid-back, vibrant way to wake up in the morning, Madhouse coffee is definitely one. You should put at the top of your list. And make sure you try Nutella croissant.

You can get 3 different flavors when you order the 6. The eggs are halves, but it was enough for us to try some of their flavors as a snack. All were pretty good, with the Traditional and Bacon Caper being my favorites. They had a stronger flavor than the Goat. Next time we come in we'll have to try the other three flavors. Also had their White Chocolate Mac Latte. You can get it cold or hot, I personally prefer hot for this drink. Overall, a really nice coffee spot with good bites and good service. Atmosphere is very open, bright, and chill.

When I walked in, everything already seemed to be closed. There were three staff members behind the counter, but no one acknowledged me for several minutes. Around the seven-minute mark, I finally asked if they were still open. One employee simply said, "Yes," walked right past me, went outside, and started stacking chairs. I continued waiting, and by the time I finally received my coffee, 17 minutes had passed. I was the only customer in the shop, and there were three employees working. For a single coffee, the lack of urgency and customer service was honestly surprising. The coffee itself was fine, but nothing memorable. In a city like Las Vegas, where there are incredible coffee shops on nearly every corner with friendly, welcoming staff, it's hard to justify coming back after an experience like this. If a business is open and still taking orders, customers should be acknowledged and served in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer. This was definitely a one-and-done visit for me.

Back behind the counter is neat and clean. Definitely has a warm, inviting professional feel.

I recently discovered Dark Moon Roasters and was pleasantly surprised! My partner and I ordered an iced blueberry pie matcha and an iced pumpkin spice latte. The blueberry pie matcha was a delightful blend of flavors. The matcha was smooth and the blueberry flavor was subtle, making it a refreshing and slightly sweet drink. The pumpkin spice latte was a pleasant surprise. Unlike the overly sweet pumpkin spice lattes found at other chains, this one had a strong, bold coffee flavor with just the right amount of pumpkin spice. It was a perfect balance of flavors. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. The minimalistic decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. While we didn't try any pastries this time, they looked delicious and we'll definitely be back to try them next time. I had a good laugh when one of the baristas broke into song and dance after we ordered - a unique and fun touch to our experience! The shop's layout is intriguing, but the wooden seating can be a bit uncomfortable for long stays. The temperature inside has been hit or miss on my visits, swinging between really hot and really cold. Nevertheless, I appreciate the unique vibe and the fact that they roast their own beans. I recently visited Dark Moon Coffee Roasters and had a fantastic experience! The pour-over coffee was absolutely delicious--rich and perfectly balanced. I also tried their dirty chai, which had a wonderful ginger kick that added a unique twist to the classic drink. The vibe inside was just as inviting as the drinks. I popped into Dark Roasters Coffee for a quick break and left seriously impressed. I ordered a hot vanilla cappuccino and an apple pie danish, and both hit the spot. The cappuccino was smooth and rich with just the right hint of vanilla--not too sweet, just warm and cozy. The apple pie danish was flakey, buttery, and filled with tender, cinnamon-spiced apples. I always make a point to try out all the local coffee shops when I visit a place and have become a coffee snob ;) This is my favorite local shop in the Vegas/Henderson area I've tried so far and I've tried about 10! Their house blend is okay but the really good beans tend to be Colombian, Ethiopian, or New Guinea. Staff is always friendly, but I do really wish they would do what some other shops do and offer a free cup of coffee when you buy a bag of beans :) read more
