I absolutely love this place. My friends and I landed in Las Vegas around 9:30am. We were in the mood for some coffee and quick bites so we decided to come here after scrolling Yelp for like 10mins at the airport. I ordered the Strawberry Shine, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. A special shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were more than happy to adjust the syrup level to my preference, which I really appreciated since it allowed me to customize the drink exactly how I liked it. I love the ice that they use here because it allows the drink to stay cold the entire time as I sip on it. One thing that stood out to me was the seating area. You can chill/relax with a coffee in hand. Whether you're meeting up with friends or just looking for a quiet spot to unwind, the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The cafe is in a somewhat quiet plaza that doesn't get a ton of foot traffic, making it feel a bit like a hidden gem. Despite the location, the people here were incredibly welcoming and the overall vibe was relaxed and laid-back. The breakfast was really good as well. I ordered the sausage egg bite which was the perfect size for me as I just wanted to nibble on something as I enjoy my coffee with friends. I would rate 4.5 stars if Yelp allowed half star ratings. The coffee here is really great. Do not come here if you are in a rush for a cup of coffee. They take their time crafting your drink & making it beautiful as well as delicious. Everyone here is always very kind. I've never had bad service here. It's not at all close to my house, so I don't get to visit very often. But when my husband and I are in this area we always try to stop by. We mostly do the drive-thru, but have been inside a couple of times. It's very clean and cozy. I believe our favorite drink is called the Campfire Mocha. It's so yummy. A mocha lightly spiced with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! read more

I stopped by Sunrise Coffee and had a really nice visit. I tried one of their vegan sandwiches and it was really good and satisfying. It is always nice to find solid vegan options at a coffee shop. The pastry I had was also fresh and flaky and paired perfectly with my coffee. Everything in the pastry case looked tempting. The space itself is comfortable and welcoming with plenty of seating, so it is a nice spot to sit for a bit and relax. The atmosphere felt calm and easygoing. Been a while since I've updated my review for here. I was in the area after doing a TV segment at a news station down the street and decided to come in for some coffee. Their sister coffee spot is Mothership, so they basically have the same menu. I got a decaf vanilla bourbon coffee and it was delish. I also got a chocolate covered croissant and they heated it for me. The staff here is so nice, too! Which I appreciate. They also have the wifi sign up right when you pick up your coffee, so you don't have to ask the staff for it. This spot has been around for a bit, but I loved that they did update the seating inside. The seats are cushioned and more comfy. It's a cute spot to hang out with friends or work. And I loooove their outdoor patio. So cute to work there in the springtime. Highly recommend this coffee spot! read more

So I am pretty sad writing this review. Sunrise Coffee is not the same organic mama and pop's coffee shop it used to be. It seems to have been bought and corporatized by Mothership Coffee Roasters. They advertise their coffee as being "ethically sourced ," but it is no longer organic, so there may be a bit of pesticide residue unfortunately. The coffee didn't taste bad. We had bourbon vanilla lattes with heavy cream which we love. The croissant sandwiches have definitely changed. The croissants used to be homemade, but now the food comes prepackaged and the employees simply warm it up. To be honest, the sandwiches were pretty terrible and we know we must stick to French bakeries for freshly made croissants and sandwiches. So unfortunately, with the changes made to Sunrise we won't be returning. The interior of the shop has changed as well and isn't as comfortable as it used to be. read more

I will probably never go here again after my experience yesterday. I normally come here about once a month or so because it's a nice place but the coffee isn't generally worth the cost. Again, prices seemingly went up but we ordered anyway. A cold brew and a latte. The cashier was friendly at first and said let me get that cold brew as I tried to pay via Google wallet. He place the black cold brew in front of the register near me and I told him it wasn't scanning and froze. He then hit something on the system and had me retry. It froze again. Then a third and he said it's probably my card and if I had a physical card. I said no but it's in my car and he said well it hasn't given us any issues at all today so it's your card and snatched the cold brew back as if I was going to walk away with it. As a POC I was effing furious at this clear display of subconscious racism. My partner noticed my situation and said let me try mine, which she tried her apple pay and it didn't work either. Clearly frustrated and annoyed he said let's try the other register and moved the transaction over. Low and behold it worked with my phone without issue and he handed me back my coffee. I said 'guess it wasn't my phone then" and he rolled his eyes. That dude needs to complete a course on unconscious bias and not make customers feel like thieves when spending $20 on mediocre coffee. read more

The staff were really friendly, and I think my favorite part was the outside seating--they had tables set up, and it felt so peaceful and inviting. The person taking our order immediately told us there would be a 45-minute wait for food before we had even asked any questions about the menu. We clarified that we were only ordering drinks, not food. After we had already paid, we were then told there would be a 15-minute wait for the coffee. If there was going to be a wait for drinks, it would have been helpful to communicate that at the same time the food wait was mentioned, before taking payment. Additionally, when I placed my order, the barista corrected me in a very rude tone, telling me the drink I ordered actually had a specific name on the menu ("Glow Up"). I explained that I hadn't seen it, and when I looked back at the menu, the drink name had no description listed underneath it, so there was no way for me to know what it was called. Being corrected is one thing, but the interaction came across as frustrated and dismissive. As someone who already feels intimidated in coffee shops due to a lack of coffee knowledge, this experience made me uncomfortable, and I will not be returning. Fantastic macha latte. Very good burrito. Okayish outdoor seating. Note: This is no longer a separate menu, though. Sunrise Cafe has been updated to match the selections of the Mothership's café chain. This was where that all started, and up until recently-ish (as far as I can tell), it served different food. Outdoor sitting area is decent. The trash bin by the outdoor seats looks a bit rough and takes away from the cute plant wall. Unfortunately, the planes overhead and the traffic on the nearby large road are very loud, which makes the outdoor seating area not very relaxing - but I realize there's nothing the business could have done about it. Just sharing here for anyone interested in outdoor café options. Very laptop friendly - easily-accessible outlets both indoors and outdoors. The indoor couch was comfortable although a bit worn down. The overall ambiance is cute. The merch is nice, too! Overall, the place is great if you're nearby, but I think there are better outdoor options at other Mothership locations. Honestly, I love the ambiance of this place, its just a nice place to hang out and exist with my drink and get some work done. I got the maple honey cardamom latte, and wow, it was SO good. Like, the perfect mix of sweet and spicy without being overwhelming. Definitely ordering it again. I also have to give props to the manager and staff who were in earlier today. I was there when there was a couple being loudly rude to them, and they handled it with so much patience and professionalism. Despite the disrespect that they were being shown in a situation that I don't believe was their wrongdoing, they stayed calm and friendly the whole time and mediated as they could. I have to share my respect for the workers who have to deal with the general public, as I know we can be a pain sometimes LOL! Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. While in Vegas I had to visit sunrise coffee, it's my go to spot out here to support a local business. They also have a few other coffee shops around town, also known as mothership coffee. In house coffee is sold as well as some merch. Lots of seating inside as well as a patio off to the side. I came around lunch time and it wasn't crowded so the wait time wasn't long for a drink. I did order a bowl so it did take a little longer as they were making it to go. I tried the matcha blueberry latte with almond milk. You could taste a hint of the blueberry oil, I like how it wasn't over powering. I've also had the chai from here too and it's really good! And it was my first time ordering food from here, I got the plant based teriyaki protein bowl. I think I may have chose wrong on getting it as the carrots, onions and snap peas tasted and looked dried out, the white rice had a weird taste and the sauce (being gf) didn't taste like teriyaki, more of a water down soy sauce. The plant-base beef was the only thing good in that bowl. Honestly I wouldn't recommend it, but being vegan and gf I wanted to try it out and now I know better, stick to just the drinks! read more

Sunrise is a favorite of mine for quality coffee, tea, and the convenient drive through. I've been here several times over the years, but it has become a regular spot lately. The service here is friendly. I love going through the drive through and that they offer that convenience! The drive through isn't the fastest, but this isn't a fast food coffee. They have seating inside and outdoor seating on the patio if you prefer to enjoy there. If you love the taste of coffee and quality coffee then you'll love the coffee here. I love that I can get black cold brew, a Cortado, or a flavored latte and it will all be great. The Vanilla Bourbon Latte is one of my favorites. The matcha isn't to be missed. They recently had a birthday cake matcha latte on special that was amazing. I'm sure the regular matcha latte is also great. I've also grabbed pastries here and enjoyed them. My toddler is hooked on the chocolate croissants. Chocolate croissants are better than cake pops from a known chain. Check them out for some great coffee! read more

Finally! Sunrise Coffee! It's been on my list of places to check out for coffee. Service was great. Food and drink were great. Very cute and clean! It was pretty busy when I went in. They have an indoor and outdoor dining area as well as a drive thru. I got a hazelnut iced latte with almond milk and I saw that they had a vegan matcha cheesecake! So of course I had to get that too. I definitely appreciate the vegan options they had. I believe I also saw a burrito and granola bowl that was vegan. Honestly not even sure how to begin; I cannot stop laughing from disbelief. Saw this place just driving by and thought hey let's give it a try! Ordered 1 "regular" size crème brûlée and 1 "regular" pumpkin white mocha. Right off the bat I noticed how pricy it was almost $7 for a regular and almost $8 for a large. My maxed out Starbucks coffee isn't even $7. But ok sure let's try this local business. Barista handed my my drinks and I couldn't help but just laugh. I was handed KIDS SIZE drinks for over $18. Drinks were 1/2 ice & milk and 1/4 foam; so basically it was about 3oz of coffee. To top it off my pumpkin mocha tasted like an over seasoned candle. I went around 4pm and they were not busy. I tried calling them to ask if this was the correct size to get it remade or maybe a refund in total. Of course, they did not answer the phone either. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I guess I will have to dispute the charge and stick with my Starbucks order. read more

They really seemed to care about making your drinks the way you want them as you would expect from a sit down coffee shop/roaster. always pleasant and never a awkward feeling when ordering and asking that my tea be brewed with a little ice in it so the water doesn't burn the leaves and make it bitter... i always get 'a look' from coffee shops bc i'm allergic to coffee but there's always good tea. And because I never get coffee at coffee shops, I always try to include getting a sandwich or something else with my drink. However I will be skipping that anytime I go here again. I'm not sure if they are using a Merry Chef as their oven to heat things up, but if they are their settings definitely need to be adjusted. It used too much of the microwave function, and not enough of the convection function so the entire perimeter of the sandwich comes out as the typical hard bread that microwaves produce. not to mention that they don't prepare the sandwiches in house, they are prepackaged from offsite. because of that, the ciabatta sandwich that I ordered is definitely not worth your value at $12. It's a small serving, does not come with any sides, and although the only bite that I took did have good flavors, the execution was heavily lacking. i'm not one to be like this, taking food back and writing reviews.. but in today's climate, and being in the industry, i just can't anymore. i'll go get a homemade bahn mi sandwich for $8 read more

I came here after going to Mothership coffee. This is such a cute coffeee shop, the vide is very retro, and when ou walk in there's alot of cute decor that is purple, yellow, and pink themed. I came around 11am and it was not busy at all, but closer to noon/1 pretty much the front of the cafe was filled up. There is also an outside seating as well that is wrapped with vines and leaves, there were even cute little birds weaved into the vines which made the outside seating experience very relaxing and peaceful. Food: the almond milk late was very creamy and used the barista series almond milk which is a plus for thicker lattes. It had such a nice sublte coffee taste andit was the perfect consistency and bend of bold falvor without the acidic after taste. They also had a few pastries available for food as well. Price: I paid around $6 for the coffee, and alt milk is an extra .75. I feel this is standard for coffee shops, so very reasonable. Service: Staff was so friendly and helpful. I was having an issue with logging onto the wifi a few times, but the staff was super helpful in reseting the router to get the internet to start. read more

New year, pretty old cafe. You may have known it differently back in the day as the source of the oddly compelling vegan Alien Burrito, but Sunrise Coffee is basically a full Mothership Coffee store #0 now. Located across from the northeast corner of Sunset Park and sharing a tiny parking area with younger-yet-still-long-lived neighbors Table Thai Bar & Bistro, they've apparently escaped my notice for over a decade. I was finally lured back in after Mothership selected me as an Instagram giveaway winner and requested that I pick up my prizes here. If you don't want to deal with the parking or the loud atmosphere inside and outside, there's a drive-thru available. I chose to go inside to be sure, and the employee who helped me with my prize was also happy to talk about the new Hakuna Matata drink ($7.75 large) and to assure me that it was not too sweet. It's a rooibos latte with orange and vanilla, and I do agree that it wasn't too sweet. My choice of heavy cream wasn't too overpowering and didn't end up that creamy after significant ice meltage, but the distinctive rooibos flavor held up pretty well. I also grabbed a Blueberry Lemon Scone (~$5.00, didn't get my printed receipt), which seemed like a safe choice due to my prior experience with Mothership. It's stored cold, although they'll warm it up for you if you'd like. I warmed it the next morning and it was just as delicious as ever. It has a thin crisp on the outside, a moist and blueberry-laden interior (not dry and crumbly as some might think), and a hint of lemon. It does feel dense enough that you'll want some milk or another relatively neutral accompaniment. Sunrise Coffee is a great way to start the day - even if it's after dusk now that they've extended their hours - or refuel in the middle. It's just a few blocks from the OG Mothership Coffee, but if you want a livelier atmosphere, consider this alternative. read more
