Love this place. Such a local staple in Henderson! My husband loves their nitro there and I usually get the seasonal drinks. I got the matcha mango cloud this time. That was a great recommendation. I could taste the mango and matcha very well. Not too sweet, very light and refreshing! I also got the apple pie Crossaint which was delish! Perfect with my matcha! Ambiance definitely gives the coffee shop vibes. Perfect for studying or meeting with a group of friends. Service is pretty consistent here. Everyone is usually friendly and consistent.
So glad to have found this coffee shop. They have a large selection of coffee, cold brew and tea drinks., as well as several breakfast sandwiches and croissants. The drinks were delicious and the food was really good. The customer service is excellent with very helpful staff. There is a large area to sit, work (free WiFi) and the ambiance is very good.
10/10 customer service, drinks, and ambience! Shout out to Stevie for being friendly and helpful from the beginning -- he answered all my questions about the drinks, gave great recommendations, and even let us try some cold brew. Dark moon is known for their cold brew, but today we tried the banana latte and mango matcha latte since it was on the summer menu. Both were tasty, and I appreciated the strong taste of the matcha. However I would likely stay with half sweet for all the drinks next time since it was a tad sweet for my personal preference. However it doesn't come overly sweet! The drinks came come in these cute glasses with the perfect ice! The interior has plenty of tables, WiFi, outlets, and even played the World Cup on a projector. The music wasn't too loud or distracting, so this is a good place to do work, catch up with friends, or just hang out. There is also easy parking outside. The bathroom is also clean. Overall, this place is great! We are going to be loyal customers based on this first experience alone!
By far one of the best coffee shops in Vegas. Every time we come to Vegas our first stop is Dark Moon. I am finally making a review of the place. They are a Coffee Roaster so they have a great quality of coffee bean. We usually take a few bag of beans, Ethiopian, because of how smooth it is. Ambiance is chill. Lots of tables and a bar to sit down and sip your coffee. They also offer pastries a few sandwiches and a nice variety of Coffees, Matchas and Iced Teas. Place is located in a shopping with lots of parking. Service is ourstanding. Everyone one at the bar and counter were extremely nice.
I've had my fair share of chais all over the city and it's safe to say this one is genuinely top 3, their chai is AMAZING!! Also the cashier was a cutie pie and let me know the chai is already sweetened but still offered to make it half sweet so I can still get a hint of vanilla. Great cozy vibe for studying or want to enjoy some good conversation and coffee/tea. 10/10
No wait, and cashier was super nice. Clean environment and great food. My only hope is for more vegetarian options. I loved the burrito but picked out all the pork out. I love the vibe here and will return for more matcha if I'm in the area!
I was greeted once I walked into the door. I ordered a matcha Pistachio latte with almond milk. It was delicious and not too sweet. I see was nice and clean. There was merchandise for sale. They also have a reward system that you can quickly sign up with your phone number. I will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.
I had heard about this coffee shop for some time, but never took the time to go there and check it out. Today was the perfect day to do so, and I am so glad I did! Plenty of parking in the parking lot, you cannot miss this place. It's got great signage and a great dark wood interior. I love a good coffee shop, and I appreciate the people that work there. Especially those who are engaging, talkative, and make you feel like you've stepped into your own kitchen. That was the experience I had at Darkmoon Coffee roasters. Super great people behind the counter made plenty of awesome suggestions, and they definitely pushed me towards the burrito. I was hungry, and I do love a good breakfast burrito so I had to do it! Let me tell you, I am so glad I did! This. Burrito was off the chain. When you first looked inside the case, you would think it's one of those convenient star burritos. It is not! These burritos are made from the good people at smash and slice, and they are absolutely delicious! I had a salted caramel latte, it was the perfect compliment to the burrito. Let me tell you, this is a perfect place to pull up a chair, have a bite to eat, or do work on your laptop. The dark atmosphere really lends a nice touch to the place, and with plenty of seating, it really does become a home away from home. The coffee itself is really good... I like a stronger blend and this was absolutely perfect! Bottom line? If you were ever up in Henderson you need to try this place out. It's just a ways up Eastern but it's definitely worth the drive. If I could give them 10 Stars I would. Don't sleep on this one, and don't forget the breakfast burrito!
Tucked away in a quiet plaza stands Dark Moon Coffee Roasters. This cafe serves up quite the unique variety of drinks, along with a delicious pastry selection. As you walk in, you'll be met with a warm hello from their amazing staff, and on the right you'll see a bunch of their great products and merch items. The cafe's vibe is so chill, I feel I could study here for hours on end. Shoutout to Jada for the BEST service, and such a warm welcome as this was our first time here. The drinks we ordered were a Latte with Churro Moon Cap and a Flat White. The Flat White really showcased the notes within the espresso shot, really highlighting the craft of their coffee. The Latte with Churro Moon Cap quite literally tasted as if they melted a churro and served me it! It wasn't outrageously sweet, and it was just right. I seriously cannot wait to come back to try more of their drinks. If you do stop by and Jada is there, just know you will have an amazing time at the cafe. The visit alone is worth it!!!

The clerks at the front were informational and patient while we browsed the menu. It was pretty full when we arrived and we had no where to sit. Regardless, the coffee was good and I highly recommend to try a banana latte with the banana foam. Absolutely delicious!
Very underrated cafe in Green Valley. While not my first pick for a matcha, they have great coffee and sell beans right in the store. I've enjoyed the ambiance and vibe of the cafe. The service is very friendly and helpful, and I even see them give customers free drinks instead of letting a wrong drink be wasted. Good for groups of 1-2 people due to seating being mostly two chairs to a table.
Dark Moon Coffee Roasters was an average experience for me. The coffee itself was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The matcha was also average and I would not order it again. The interior is very dark, which gives it a certain mood, but it also made the space feel a bit closed in. There isn't much comfortable seating if you're hoping to stay awhile and relax or get some work done. It feels more like a quick stop for coffee rather than a place to linger. Overall, it's fine if you're in the area and need a caffeine fix, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit.
I came in here to grab a coffee and get some grading done but the experience was even better. The staff was the most welcoming of any coffee shop that I've ever been. They offered a great recommendation of the pistachio latte, which came in a cup that even a klutz like me could not spill while walking or inside a car. The place is super chill with fun music vibes. The food and drink menu offered lots of great options as well for another visit including seasonal offerings. read more

Lovely Coffee house with boutique charm! Inside this hidden gem was a nice layout for small chats, quick eats and coffee drinks n treats. First time here, been wanting to check it out for a while. Sunday morning--the place is packed. No line to order at the coffee counter though. I wasn't positive what the cafe's signature drink was so I just ordered what seemed familiar to me. For 2 lattes to go it came to roundabout $15. Slightly higher pricing for coffee however considering it is high end coffee beans and locally owned non corporate--I support the mission. My hot vanilla bean latte was in a plain white cup--I took the lid off to see the beautiful design. My second drink order was an ice vanilla bean latte in a one size cup that had the cutest designed cup. Once we left I started sipping my hot coffee---I wish I would have done so in the cafe. I'm allergic to chocolate and this coffee had a hint of chocolate notes in it I feel like I was sensitive to this right away. My second drink order for another family member was a bit darker tasting as well same chocolate notes. (Not positive it was chocolate just took precaution for allergy reasons). Thought it may had been confused with a mocha instead of the vanilla bean I'm still unsure. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to turn around. I didn't finish drinking my coffee due to that. I was kind of disappointed I wish I would've read more into ingredients info. But will try this out again next time maybe the cold brew that I'm seeing is a popular drink here on the menu and or one of the amazing looking oversized pastries. They have some wonderful Matcha coffee and the drinks are very high-quality. However they need to fix the ambience. It seems to be very dark and not a lot of windows and not a lot of seating for guests. Just enjoy their drink experience and relax. Other than that. It is a great place to get a nice cup of Matcha latte and a nice warm cup of coffee the ingredients are very high-quality so I definitely want to point that out but the ambience is what is lacking other than that. Dark Moon, cool vibes. Hubby and I walked in for the first time today and enjoyed our coffees, service and atmosphere. The Small seasonal menu makes it easy to make a selection quickly. The gal that rang us up was helpful and friendly. I drank a cold brew strawberry cream foam top with salted caramel syrup and one Splenda. Yummy! My husband had the cold brew banana with oat milk. Not on this side of town very often but our friend highly recommended this place for coffee if we we had the chance to try. My husband already having tried it, he said he got the Coconut Hojicha the last time he was here and he said it was really good. I've tried Hojicha before and I've been on a Hojicha kick lately because I like the earthier taste it has when compared to regular matcha and I've never tried one with coconut milk before. I was pleasantly surprised about the taste, the coconut milk gave it a little sweetness without overpowering the entire latte. Highly recommend it the next time you're there. Wish there was one on our side of the Valley but we'll probably be adding this to our list to visit again when we are back. read more

The hubby and I swung by Dark Moon on our way into Vegas to get a good dose of caffeine before hitting the strip. We arrived on a Saturday at 10am and were greeted by a line of about 10 in front of us. The line moved fairly quickly and we waited a total of 15-20 minutes. I ordered a cortado while the hubby ordered an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. We also picked up a couple of bags of beans which we just finished last weekend. I found this place a little over two weeks ago and I've already came here about 5 times. It is amazing place from working on your laptop to bringing friends. They have amazing music but you can easy have a conversation or zoom call without interruptions. That's just the tip of the iceberg because we haven't even talked about the amazing people who work here- they MAKE the cafe. Janelle is so sweet & Paco and Stevie bring so much energy. Together they have so much passion, knowledge, and excitement. I got hooked on this silly matcha craze. Looking around for high quality matcha isn't too hard, but when you do find a good one, man is it worth it! I decided to try out Dark Moon after hearing from a few colleagues that this place has some great coffee. They are a local roaster dedicated to using high quality products, and I am a big fan of that. Parking is in a strip mall so there are plenty of spaces, and the business is labeled appropriately. Inside there are some grab and go items along with swag, which is always fun. There is plenty of room to sit, relax, plug in your phone or laptop, and get some work done. It is a super rad and fun spot to pass the time. The lavender latte was great! You can tell they have done some research on the beans and water filtration, as this was a clean and very tasty cup of coffee. The matcha with the churro foam variation is my new favorite and should be a permanent thing for them for sure! My husband and I love trying out new coffee places and we found one that we both love and will be coming back to often (in fact my husband has already been without me). The pour over coffees are absolutely fantastic. In fact, so fantastic, that upon our first experience, he was so impressed that he ordered a 2nd one to try. I'm not a black coffee person but man, oh, man, let me tell ya....these pour overs are so flavorful and light that I could drink one without the need for anything added to it. You could really taste the flavor notes in what they serve. I felt like they had light taste of a tea not a coffee. It was such an enjoyable experience. As for the food selection, they do have a case full of pastries. We tried the chorizo croissant and ham and cheese, they were both incredible. But just a word of advise, it's a very limited selection and they do sell out fast so make sure you get there early enough. The staff is extremely pleasant and friendly. With new (and more!) seating arrangements, I think dark moon has better accommodated for their (very deserving!!) popularity. Everyone here is so nice, today on staff was Paco, Dely, Cam, and Dallas, and they were all so sweet to me and just observing their interactions with other guests! I originally found this spot because it is fairly near my home, and wanted to try something different than Starbucks. I was so pleased to find the espresso & coffee made differently and the solo espresso shot feels more like two. As a health & fitness professional, I feel as though it works with my system far better than other coffees. Finding out their ethical standards and process had me appreciate it even more, beyond the obvious espresso jitter. I have enjoyed the smooth, peaceful vibe and have found myself able to get great work done amidst an elevated demographic that is also focused on entrepreneurial development. Once overheard a Hollywood screenwriter and a producer discussing their current project nearby, another time the henderson fire dept was here supporting cancer survival and of course the locals who need the daily fix. It's a welcoming, friendly place to get what you need and I sat back from reviewing because I didn't want to share what a gem I believe it to be. You won't regret making it a priority to check out, especially for this winter season. Ask for Josh! He also explains things about coffees that you may not know. Both were delicious and I love how they offer ceremonial matcha with so many different flavor options. Need to try the black sesame cold foam next. What a treat this place is! My husband and I were running errands and wanted a fresh take on coffee. We found Dark Moon by chance and this place is A-Mazing! Went here one day and the drink I got was good. I don't recall the name of this drink but it tasted pretty tropical. The barista was patient and very kind. The location seems pretty good, very spacious parking lot and the inside seems pretty cozy. The chocolate croissant was good, but there wasn't enough chocolate, it was only in one portion of the croissant and not enough to really satisfy my sweet craving. I got the cold brew and 3 different cans from the fridge to try. The cold brew felt pretty smooth. I would say Lunar blend is the least acidic on the finish and reminds me most of medium roast. Sumatra the purple can has the most bright citrusy finish making me think of light roast. read more

It's my second time coming here to this place and I'd say that their coffee and hospitality is top notch. Shoutout to Jada for her hospitable service! The cafe ambiance is mellow and the music volume is just right, just the right atmosphere to get work done or just chill. Their breakfast burritos are dangerously delicious! I'd recommend the bacon burrito and their sauce is a great pairing! As for coffee, you can't go wrong with anything to be honest. I don't drink nitro cold brew that much and their nitro is smoooooooth! Their pour over coffee is also good! Fruity and light in flavor. I had the Costa Rica pour over when I first came here. Ive been coming here for a while now and more than the drinks (which are solid) I genuinely appreciate their customer service. Hi, do you guys allow customers to purchase whole beans from you?
Yes, we have a rotating selection of single origin coffee beans ready to purchase everyday.
Is this a good place to study? If so, are there outlets?
Not really, the seating is wood slab-style. Not meant to sit for long periods of time. However I was able to read a part of my book and answer emails. I loved it!
Does the shop use matcha powder to make the matcha drinks?
The matcha we use is a ceremonial grade matcha from Art Of Tea. Yes it is powder form, we whisk it fresh per order.
What's your best seller coffee?
Right now it is our Lunar Blend which is our current espresso blend of beans from Guatemala, Colombia and Ethiopia.
Do you have vegan gluten-free pastries?
Yes, right now we have a vegan gf oatmeal apricot and cranberry cookie!
Do you have outdoor seating?
We would love to but we aren’t able to accommodate any outdoor seating due to an ADA ramp/stairway being in front of our storefront.
