I love this vibe here. The food is very delicious and you can switch sides to any sides so I got double eggs instead. Waited for a bit to order but I enjoyed the overall experience

The food here is excellent, and the staff is friendly. My daughter and I were passing through Luling and decided to stop for lunch. I had the chicken fried staek & eggs with hash browns. It was amazing - possibly the best hash browns I've eaten. My only disappointment was that on Saturdays, they don't serve "lunch", but only "brunch", so the grilled cheese sandwich that I initially wanted was not available. I guess that gives me an excuse to come back here on a weekday...

Two eggs scrambled, hash browns, and toast.

Food was delicious and filling! Our server was very friendly and the ambiance of the place itself was very inviting. The small store attached to the diner has a selection of beautiful succulents as well!

Glad we stopped in for breakfast. The ambiance was nice. The owner was super sweet. The food was good. I'm a pancake lover-the pancakes did not disappoint! Don't forget to stop at the boutique attached-lots of great finds! I'll definitely be back the next time we pass through Flatonia.

Decent fare at a fair price. "We're only serving breakfast today," our waitress explained at noon. That was unexpected, as we'd already reviewed the menu they'd handed us and picked out the lunch items we wanted. We weren't greeted when we arrived. We were eventually told to sit anywhere, but weren't told who would be waiting on us. After awhile, a lady approached from behind the counter, took the order of the people who'd come in after us, then walked away. Soon after, someone sweeping the floors saw my hand up and came by to take our order. The food arrived quickly enough. My eggs benedict ("eggs benny") was tasty enough, though the eggs are over easy, not poached. Still, they were not overcooked and it worked. The hashbrows were tastey enough that I left the ketchup untouched. My dad's taco was pretty bland. It's hard to miss with an egg, cheese and bacon, taco but he says it was a miss. And they didn't bring a side of salsa or anything. Still, it doesn't bill itself as a Mexican restaurant and that's not likely their specialty. And it was pretty inexpensive. It's a nice location, and they're popular enough to fill the place on Sunday. Seems like a regular spot for the locals. They must be doing something right.

Stopped at this beautiful restaurant in Flatonia Texas for a quick breakfast. Immediately, the hostess recognized us from our first visit and welcomed us. We ordered coffee and had eggs and bacon for breakfast. Eggs cooked to order and the bacon thick and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing by Flatonia Texas and looking for awesome customer service and good breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Sad...this place was full of people and we were seated right away but after 15 minutes we still hadn't had our drink order taken much less come out. The wait staff was super slow. One girl sat at the counter on her phone... I saw a waitress get a drink wrong for another table and then go behind a counter and pour the wrong drink into a different cup...gross. we got up and left. The decor is cute but not worth waiting for.

I'm also a first time mom and not working currently so my funds are low for spending. The staff (shout out to the ones I've met so far) Kevin, Brittany and Terrance took the time to explain how the cafe works. so many delicious options, I went with the jalapeno popper omelette which did not disappoint. Brittany helped navigate a coffee I would enjoy and I did! Try the Vietnamese iced coffee so good. my daughter and I sat outside and met Terrance, who came right up and introduced himself. made sure we were doing good and dj'd some great tunes. I'm not sure who was at the counter today but she was lovely. thank you all for the experience and great food

You place your order and then take a seat and when they bring out your food, you get a little pocket to put cash into to pay whatever you want. The food was great and it benefits addiction recovery. My only complaint is that they really really really need to put fans on the patio cause I was swatting away flies the entire time I was eating. I wouldn't eat outside again. I went for breakfast and had a 3-meat omlette which I actually couldn't even finish cause I was full. It was a little weird getting the apple juice in a cup full of ice but I guess I could have gotten more if I wanted it. I'd like to back for lunch sometime.

I found this spot on Yelp and was super pleased with the service, the selection, the strong WiFi, the decor, and the overall vibes here that was super welcoming. Parking was easy off the street and there was plenty of other storefronts to wander & window shop as I made my way to Tillie's. This whole area is great so anywhere you park is going to be close. For my coffee I really enjoyed the iced Golden Ticket coffee I got that included a caramel and a hazelnut flavor with a nice house made cream added to the top. It was so tasty! For food it was hard to choose. Everything from "brekkie", or breakfast, to lunch looked so good as listed on their menu. I ended up with one of their "Handhelds" of the Besto Pesto that included sliced turkey, homemade pesto (nut-free too!), mayo, and some delicious house made pickles. This sando came with a side of house made chips as well and was the portion for my lunch. Since I was driving back to Austin (an hour+ away) I decided to get through all of what was on my plate and not take any leftovers home but I could've!!! I really loved their decor and the long large and beautiful wooden community table they had near the back of the cafe. I saw a whole group of women (more than 6 of them!) gathered around, chatting, and having tea. I assumed they were locals because like them, I would be hanging out here all day with my laptop and/or friends all day if I could. Highly recommend coming in and checking out what you can find to have while here. From coffees, breakfast, lunch, and even refreshing tasty sparkling drinks you will find something you want to have and probably keep coming back for in the future. When I am in the area again, this will definitely be part of my plans in stopping into and eating at again.
