We were told that my daughter wisdom too is easy surgery. After the surgery my daughter was crying and said she felt the surgery. Came back 3 wks later since my daughter got infections in the right side, this doctor was too rough. They gave like medication in a syringe and this assistant told me that this medication is $100 worth and the doctor is just giving it to you. In my mind i don't get a f..., if it's worth $100. My daughter is having infection, and this s....d assistant making a joke that medication cause $100. This Dr Morris is spraying into the hole of where the wisdom tooth was taking out. My daughter was crying for pain and this doctor keep doing it. Did not even give anesthesia. My daughter was crying. Another 4 wks later my daughter got infection in the left side. Again we had to go to their office 3 times. Example: we came Monday explain everything, daughter has cycle sign of infection in the left side of the jaw. We are given antibiotics to come back Wednesday. Txt dr and assistant Thursday. Assistant txt where is that circle marking came from when I showed the assistant about the sign of infection on Monday and even the doctor look at it. We are told to come back Friday finally, my daughter had extraction taken out since it's pus is ready to pop out. I'm told that my daughter will be getting anesthesia. My daughter came with full face red and I can tell that she was tortured crying and felt the extraction. I ask the assistant what happened why she was crying that much and that Brittany smiled said oh it's just hurt a little. Every time I bring my daughter, this doctor is not gentle and does not give anesthetic. My daughter was traumatized in all the care visit that my daughter had with this doctor. My daughter up to this day still have infection. Since I brought my daughter to him 4 times and still having infection. We had went to another doctor for 2nd opinion. Had extraction again, if this doctor has clean up the infection for the very beginning and dit what it supposed to be done for the very beginning and keep waiting and waiting. my daughter will not have a problem and will not have this long lingering infection. I end up paying $3000 dollars to another surgeon because This dr morris did not do the job right. As this 2nd maxillo surgeon that we went to, he told me that as soon as he cut to reopen to the left and right jaw extraction the pus just burst out. I honestly wanted to leave a good review for this place. It's been about 2 months since I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. The procedure itself and the customer service on that day went great as far as I was concerned or aware of. Unfortunately since that day I have lost feeling/taste in most of my tongue and on the right side of my mouth and chin. It doesn't seem to be getting any better, I wish I had just left my wisdom teeth in at this point, even if they were shifting my teeth slightly over the years. One of my wisdom teeth cracked in half and was causing me intense pain. I contacted the office who got me in the next week, which I was grateful for when every other oral surgeon right now seems to be booked through the summer. Office is gorgeous. Staff is kind, and not just kind because you're about to spend a lot of money, but kind because they want you to be comfortable. Dr. Morris is personable, funny, patient and PROFESSIONAL. I opted for full anesthesia for the extraction, and when I tell you I BLINKED and it was over, I'm not kidding. I was escorted to my waiting vehicle within an hour of parking my car with minimal swelling and three prescriptions. I will 100% be back in the future. If you're nervous AT ALL about an oral surgery, this is the perfect office and doctor to call. read more

This place will upcharge you for anything they possible can. From their $110 "consultation fee", charging you for an impacted tooth that wasnt impacted, to their IV sedation. They say your xray is free but that doesn't justify the upcharges on their procedures. Dr. Morris is the most disrespectful and condescending doctor I have ever met in my entire life. That is not an exaggeration. If you disagree even in the most polite way (about the charges and consultation fee) and explain yourself he will interrupt, gaslight, and disregard any point you make. This man went from cordial to toxic at the drop of a hat and I advise anyone to not get on his bad side. Check you bill/statement before you agree to get anything done because I can guarantee you are being overcharged. His justification for the expensive prices and extra charges is that every ortho is different, they are a specialized office, and they provide excellent service. He then said the prices in places like Fontana would be cheaper than his for many reasons. This office is located in Rancho Cucamonga, 5 minutes away from a pizza hut. Their front office can only have 5 seats. They have the same xray equipment as any modern dentist. I fail to see these justifications. I've been to dentists/orthos as far as Redlands all the way to LA where the cost of living is far higher than Rancho. Yet in LA I was never charged prices like the ones I saw in this office. And I was never treated the way Dr. Morris treated me. All because I pointed out he was unnecessarily charging me. The billing manager who was in the same room and my sister witnessed his rude behavior. He did not allow me to speak that my sister had to intervene and explain to him my side because he was very intent on not letting me get a word in. He stormed out the room and I let the billing manager know that what he just did was extremely uncalled for. She acknowledged the situation and what I said but I can tell she didn't want to say anything that will get her in trouble with Dr. Morris. If he can treat me in such a disgusting way imagine how he treats his workers. The xray technician and receptionist were also rude but I want this review to reflect Dr. Morris and his treatment of people in general. Go to a different orthodontist. Whatever quote he gives you the next place will quote you for half that amount. I showed the estimate to another ortho and he was surprised by the charges especially IV sedation (Morris charges ~$40 x3 while the other doctor only charged 11.50 x3). Morris can tell you whatever makes sense in his mind to charge that much but at the end of the day he is overcharging and hiding behind a false pretense of "premium services". I ended up going with another ortho in LA (closer to hollywood) who only charged me $241 (versus the $430 Morris was charging) and did the procedure in less than 30 minutes (waiting for me to be numb and sedated took up most of the time so the surgery lasted less than 10 minutes. He was happy to walk me through the ENTIRE procedure and answered any questions I had. He reiterated that my tooth wasnt impacted that it only had a cavity, grew completely straight and even though it was millimeters below my gum line it is still considered a regular extraction. Like I said: Do not go to Dr. Morris even if you can afford it! read more

Phenomenal!! The Staff and Dr. Morris were amazing. ((Five stars are not enough!!)) My appt was at 9am on 4/25. My husband (driver) and I arrived 10 mins before my appointment and were greeted by both ladies at the front. I was extremely nervous to have my impacted wisdom teeth pulled (4 total!) and they total calmed my nerves. The Staff and Dr. Morris explained the whole surgery procedure to us from start to finish. Starting with our insurance coverage to aftercare progress. The procedure was done within 45 mins and the Dr. himself even wheeled me to my car! ( As I decided to be total sedated for the surgery.) I went to Dr. Morris's office yesterday to have surgery to get my wisdom tooth removed, and man was I nervous! I was so scared and did not want to have this done but I did anyway! Unfortunately my review has nothing to do with the doctors work but with the office staff and their poor customer service. My daughter had oral surgery here at the beginning of June 2021. I was told the night before her surgery that they could not bill my insurance. I called my insurance who assured me it would be cover it just needed to billed under my medical insurance not my dental. The office staffed stated they could not bill my insurance that way and I'd have to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed by the insurance. I agree and paid them a little over $1500, I submitted my receipts to my insurance company and I was denied because the doctors office had already been paid. Turns out they did bill my insurance and were paid the last day of June. I called the office and was told they had not yet received the payment but that I would be refunded as soon as they processed the insurance payment. In July I was told multiple times that my refund had been mailed and returned to them, then I was told it would be sent via fedex and I'd be emailed a tracking number. Again this never happened. I was finally able to speak with a Britney in August who stated my check had not even been cut but that she would get it done and mailed out at the end of the week after getting the doctors signature. I waited another week and called for a status and was told the refund checks don't get sent out until the end of the month and my refund was on the doctors desk. Here we are on September 13th and I have called multiple times and can no longer get her on the phone or a message returned, I have no clue where my money is and I'm starting think I won't ever get my money back. I would avoid this office at all costs and I also notified my dentist who referred me here so they don't refer any other patients. They too have tried to call and help me get my money back and have also been unsuccessful. I will be filing a complaint. read more

I was referred to two oral surgeons for wisdom teeth removal and I went to Morris' office first and it was a bit pricey so I checked my other referred location and the other dentist was completely rude and not worth even getting a quote so I decided to go with Dr Morris regardless of the price. I'm so glad I did. Him and his team were amazing, respectful, and kind. I didn't have a single issue with them. I was scared to get put to sleep and get a bone graph but he and his team were funny and sarcastic which made me ease up and calm down. I have been contemplating in how I was going to address this since last Friday. I had a procedure done at Dr. Morris office last Friday July 13, 2018. I was very verbal about my fear and anxiety due to prior history and issues which I made them full aware. Based on the yelp reviews I felt this would be a good place to have my procedure done. 1st the girl going over paperwork and having me sign waivers due to potential issues that could arise as the result of the procedure was short and insensitive . There was a man sleeping in a chair in the lobby area. I asked several times about the condition I would be in when I leave as my sister was my ride and could not help support me if I were in a condition like the man sleeping in the chair in the lobby. The girl seem to want to just push through no concern about my feelings, A male nurse came out to check on things and I expressed my concern regarding some of the issues and possible after affects according to the waivers. He assured me it would not apply to me and that it would be ok and when I leave I will be awake, alert and able to walk on my own. I decided to go forward with the procedure despite my fear and anxiety. Since they placed the IV I have no recollection until I woke up in the hospital later that day. My sister told me they brought me out in a wheel chair and that they transferred me from the wheel chair to her car I didn't do it on my own. She assumed they knew what they were doing but said that something didn't seem right to her so she asked what they gave me. She drove me to her house to rest until I could go home later but said she could not get me alert to get out of the car so she asked her neighbor for help but they couldn't help her either she didn't know what to do as she said I was half in her car and half hanging outside on the pavement so she called 911 she said the ambulance was not able to get me to respond properly so they transported me to San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland. From what I have been told I was breathing but not alert. The ER doctor and nurse informed me later on that when I arrived I was not responsive. From what my sister and husband said they called Dr. Morris office to get information on the medication was given there so they could inform the ER doctor so he would know how to handle things based on the medication in my system from the surgery at Dr. Morris office. According to my husband when he spoke to Dr. Morris office they indicated the doctor was in surgery but that when I left I was fine. My husband said he only needed the name of the medications so he could tell the ER doctor they just kept saying I was fine when I left completely disregarded his concern. My sister said I was not and was not alert. My husband said that they said I was awake, alert and walked. How could that be if I do not remember anything? I would think I would remember if it got up and was walking around. My husband said he ended up giving his phone to the ER doctor to talk to Dr. Morris office. My husband asked about cameras in the parking lot he is going to see if there is any footage to view so he can see for himself my condition when I left the office since he was not there. The ER said they gave me a medication through IV to reverse the medication given at Dr. Morris office but the first time it was not successful the second time it was and that was when I woke up. Needless to say this is not the experience I had anticipated in addition to the rest of my day spent in an ER and the cost of the emergency transport and emergency room treatment on top of the $1,100.00 I was charged at Dr. Morris office for the dental surgery. The ER doctor told me that I should have never been released in the condition I was that it is a risk as I could have died and not woken up at all. I was surprised when told this. I am still amazed that Dr. Morris staff would release me in the condition I was. My sister says they are not truthful saying I was alert when I left as in her opinion I was not but she figured they knew what they were doing. Sorry this is so long winded but I would hate to see this happen to anyone else out there. Please be sure to check things out ahead of time and who you let complete procedures. With an office that has the high ratings you would not expect this. It is bad enough to go through this after a procedure and a medical office not concerned about your well being when they send you home but then you have additional costs on top of it. The ER doctor said that if the area I was in was needed they should have put me in a recovery room until I was awake and alert. Anyway this is my story I want decided to share with others to be aware so the same thing doesn't happen to other people. read more

Let me open this with saying I am terrified of Dentists. I had very bad experiences as a child and never got over it. My first visit to Dr. Morris was amazing for me. He is kind. He doesn't rush. He tells you exactly what needs to be done, and shows you on the x-ray. He is also extremely charming. More importantly than that I had 2 teeth removed this morning and I have not had one second of pain. I've had teeth removed before and was miserable for several days after. I feel good enough today to be on the computer writing a review within a few hours of oral surgery. PATIENT BEWARE: I came into this office to get 1 wisdom tooth extracted. I was told by the staff that it would be almost $400 (out of pocket) to get it out. What I was NOT told is that the Nitrous Oxide "Laughing Gas" was not covered by my insurance and $$$. According to them, it's part of their "standard procedure" to help relieve pain. Well that's what the huge needles with anesthesia was for!!!! No need for "Laughing Gas" unless your feeling super anxious or nervous. I was already super relaxed and this was NOT necessary for my simple extraction, therefore I feel ripped off. Even Dr Morris said I had a super easy extraction based on my xrays. Besides this issue, Dr Morris did have good bedside manners and I'm not criticizing the actual procedure (he is a very nice doctor)...just upset about the cost and unnecessary nitrous oxide for me personally. Additionally, the staff was extremely rude when trying to resolve this issue. read more

I was referred to Dr. Morris for an emergency extraction of an abscessed tooth that was causing terrible pain. After finishing the extraction, the dental tech discharged me, even though I was crying and kept telling him the pain was worse than before the extraction! Dr. Morris did not come in to assess why I was in such pain following the extraction, or give me any information about the extraction problems. When I got home I found that Dr. Morris had broken the crown in front of the tooth that was extracted. He, nor anyone on his staff had notified me of the damage to the crown. After continuing to suffer extreme pain for 2 days following the extraction, I called my family dentist and he had me come in. He checked the extraction site, and asked me if I was aware that Dr. Morris had left a root in the extraction site. I stated no he had not, nor had he advised me that he had broken the crown either! After completing my visit with my dentist, I called Dr. Morris and asked him why he had failed to advise me that he had broken my perfectly good crown and not told me that he had failed to remove the root from the abscessed tooth. He stammered, and then said, "My staff was going to call you today about that." I had to visit another oral surgeon to remove the painful, abscessed root left by Dr. Morris. Thankfully, I received extremely excellent and empathetic care by the second oral surgeon, and the pain immediately was relieved. To Dr. Morris' credit, after I contacted him to share how upset I was with the unacceptable and unprofessional care that I had received from him, and his staff, he agreed to return the "out-of-pocket" money I had paid him, not bill my dental insurance company for the charges and pay a portion for the destroyed crown he damaged. I appreciate that he attempted to rectify the horrible care, pain and suffering I received at his office. I definitely would not recommend Dr. Morris. read more
