I've been going here for about 4 years now and have had consistently positive experiences. The office is professional, organized, and the staff has always been polite and helpful. I can only recommend Dr. Petal and his sister. They are both very kind, honest, and trustworthy. They don't try to pressure you into unnecessary treatments or procedures, which is something I really value after my past experiences. I came back yesterday for my first root canal and was completely nervous from the pain and lack of care I received from the last office I had this procedure done. I can just say that my faith in the dentists has been restored and my anxiety is not needed at this office. Everyone from the front desk, the dental assistants to the dentist himself handled my appointment with such care. Maritza at the front desk even remembered me from last time which made me feel less nervous about my treatment as you can tell this office cares about their patients. Even getting numbed with the giant scary needle (we all know the one) didn't hurt. They numb the area before hand which makes me upset at the last dentist for having such a brut of a hand and getting mad at me for feeling pain. The root canal itself took about 45 minutes to which I was told if I needed a break at any point to let them know. The dentist and his assistant checked on me frequently to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable or experiencing pain. A few times I felt a bit of sensitivity that they handled quickly and appropriately before proceeding. My last dentist could see me squirming a bit and said "well you drink a lot of coffee so yeah it's going to hurt" lol I cannot stress enough how much I felt cared for and again look forward to finishing my treatments with this office. First and foremost .. when it comes to the dentist office; I will 100% admit that I am very VERY terrified of it. I dreaded scheduling even just a simple exam forever. But I gave in and decided to face my fears. Front office staff were all so pleasant on the phone. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. The office is a little small, especially the waiting room but thankfully when I arrived there wasn't much of a wait and I was pretty much the first patient to be seen. I've had terrible traumatic experiences prior with other dentists so I was very very nervous. Sitting in the chair I was pretty much in tears. The RDA that worked on me was very kind. She took my X-rays and though I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with, she was so patient and was very calming. When I first met Dr. Patel I was really nervous because I had previously asked for a female doctor. He put my mind at ease just by speaking kindly and explaining the procedures in detail. I needed a deep cleaning and have a few small cavities that needs filling. From start to finish it really wasn't that bad. He took his time, very gentle and patient. I love love love this dentist office! I randomly came here one day to check out prices and services. The previous dental office was so blunt and didn't really care to thoroughly go over everything you needed and make sure you feel taken care of - they just wanted to over charge you without even going over everything that's needed and WHY. I had zero explanation whatsoever, which made me so stressed out about being able to pay for everything. I'm so so happy that this office is the complete opposite! Everyone here is extremely sweet. They make you feel comfortable and assure you, you're in good hands. They did an amazing job explaining what I needed and went into detail so I'm aware of the process and not just being told "this is what you need." This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Patel is amazing she really is my new favorite dentist. She spent so much time on my teeth! She referred me to a Endodontist for three root canals; which was also an amazing experience. So far, I got two root canals and Dr. Patel is in the process of doing my crowns. My whole experience at Rancho Dental care as great. They were accommodating and I really appreciate that! They also are pretty affordable. Yes, it was expensive but in comparison to other quotes I received. They were affordable. The staff is nice but honestly, it is the dentist that makes this place for me. I have been to a few dentists and the staff are pretty much similar; always nice and pleasant. What set Rancho Dental Care apart is the dentist she made me feel very comfortable during a difficult procedure. I literally had my mouth worked on for about 3 hours and it was not a terrible experience. It was much better than I expected. I was never interested in my dentist and who they were and which dental office I went to. I always thought it did not matter. However, this dentist showed me different. Love them! At first, I was really nervous switching to a new dentist because I was with my previous dentist for over 13 years however he moved to a new location very far so I had to look for a new dentist. I have to say I was skeptical of the five star ratings that I saw, but they really do live up to the five star rating! Everyone there was amazing! Staff upfront were so welcoming. Great little office. Very nice people helping you. The only thing I didn't like was that I asked for pain meds after getting a front tooth out. The reason I asked was because the forms they made me initial and sign specifically said it was gonna be painful afterwards for a few days. They said I'd be fine. I wasn't fine.
