Instead of feeling welcomed, you get the impression that you're inconveniencing them by even walking in. Accuracy is another issue. Even the simplest drink orders come out wrong far too often. When you stop in for something quick, you shouldn't have to double-check everything before leaving especially the size of the drink. It also doesn't help that the music inside is so loud that the staff can barely hear a customer placing an order. Turning it down even a little would go a long way toward improving communication and avoiding mistakes. This location has potential, but between the unwelcoming attitude, in my opinion the wrong side of route 114, the loud environment, and the regular order errors, it really needs serious improvement before it becomes a place worth returning to. Several other AJ locations seem to be slipping the last year or so. Maybe expansion happened too fast or they just want to be like other coffee shops that couldn't care less what drink they give to you.
