We went on free slurpee day and as far as customers went, it really showed the worst in humanity. People taking the wrong size cups, spilling and not even trying to clean up after themselves. The staff worked constantly to keep things clean and orderly. I normally don't leave reviews for convenience stores, except you could tell they were doing their absolute best to run the store with excellence and keep things clean and running well in spite of the influx of bad customers.

I brought them in today. I asked; "if I can exchange for plain originals" The checker pointed up 8ft and said; "No!" Me; "Are you kidding?" He points up, 8ft and says; "all purchases are final and no exchanges." I said; "I'm just exchanging for even value" He said; "no" We put our other purchases back, will never ever shop there again, nor should anyone else. They aren't community friendly. The only half-and-half were those faux-creamers that you don't need to refrigerate. Being disappointed and realizing it was going to be a long day, I gave up on looking for food. (Otherwise, the store looked clean and well-stocked.) The gentleman behind the counter was a man of few words but being 6 a.m. on a Sunday, I don't blame him. I've driven by this gas station a thousand times and finally came in this weekend because we needed…read morea car wash. We had done a road trip and our car was filthy. The gas station is HUGE. Easy to pull your car in and maneuver as you need to. They have a bank of detail stations so you can vacuum your own car if you need to. There is also a Burger King here. The gas prices were in line with everywhere else nearby. The car was was great! Our car looked brand new when we were done and it is way better than the car wash by our house. We will definitely be back.

I've never been to a Buc-ee's-though I think that might change this summer,maybe…read more Anyways when I stopped at Maverik for the first time out in Rocklin,I was thinking that maybe just maybe this is kind of what a Buc-ee's might look like. I got to admit I love how wide the gas station lanes are outside-this is the kind of gas station I want to frequent always. Walking inside I was really taken aback by the sheer size of the place..I guess I should've figured it out by just looking at the size of the building but yeah I was still surprised. Inside they have so much ready-to-eat food available-so much grab-and-go options but the thing that looked the most intriguing was the brisket wraps-next time I'm there,I will for sure be trying those brisket wraps. They have a pretty killer beer selection as well located in their stand-alone beer locker that keeps the beer ice cold. I can't quite put my finger on it but I just really liked the vibe in that gas station-the employees seemed happy and friendly and everything was super organized and clean. It's one of those rare gas stations where you don't feel like you're just stopping for gas--you actually want to go inside and look around. I can say with some certainty that this is my gas station of choice in the Rocklin area. It's a good one......Now to check out Buc-ee's.

The store is always clean, and somehow the bathrooms are too--which honestly feels like finding a unicorn at a gas station. They've got a ton of snacks, drinks, and grab-and-go food, so whether I need caffeine, a road trip snack, or an "I forgot to eat today" meal, they've got me covered. And I'll admit it... the burritos are actually pretty good. Way better than my expectations for gas station food. The rewards app is another reason I keep coming back. They always seem to have coupons, discounts, and Freebie Fridays are a nice little bonus. Who doesn't like free snacks? Overall, Maverik makes spending too much money on energy drinks and road trip snacks feel a little more justified. Clean store, good food, great rewards--hard to ask for much more from a gas station.
