Really enjoyed my visit here! It's hard to find a place that has both great boba and good Filipino food, but they do both really well here. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The boba drinks were delicious and refreshing, and the food had great flavor and comfort-food vibes. The cafe itself is cute, clean, and welcoming, making it a nice spot to relax, eat, and hang out. Staff was friendly too. Definitely happy we found this place and I'll be coming back to try more from the menu!

So glad to have finally made it to Kultura Cafe. I rarely cook Filipino food, especially the pork recipes. To indulge my mom, I buy her what she craves if I can't make it at home. She was so happy with her Beef Kaldereta. It was tender, not greasy, the chunks of meat were not fatty and had great flavor. She only wished there was a bigger serving. My husband and I enjoyed the Pork Belly Sisig plate. Not only was it massive, it was very tasty. Next time we will try their desserts and Lechon Kawali. Also the service was very polite, the chef came out to say hi and the cafe itself is very cute. I especially loved their custom wall illustrations of Filipino food.

This is our second time eating at Kultura, under the new management. This is the first time bringing my mom to try the food. So far, I've been loving the food. Even though, the main plate options are limited, they have been good, very tasty, and the rice is always cooked well. The only feedback I'd give is the Chicken Adobe needs to simmer in the sauce a bit longer to capture the flavors. I do appreciate the extra sauce on the side, though. Let me not forgot that they offer off side dishes that often times can change (not sure how often), such as chicken sisig, palabok, etc. The 2 times we've been there, I always feel like I've been transported to a small restaurant in the Philippines. Very casual. The cook, Ricky, always comes out of the kitchen to serve our food in to-go containers, which is very convenient. We'll be sure to return. Tapsilog, here I come!

First time here. We were craving some Filipino food and decided to try this place. It was good and we liked it. The service was where you order and find a seat. They were friendly and had some specials to choose from. The restaurant was really clean the bathroom too. If in the area again I'll be back again.

Food was great! Service was quick and timely. The lighting could be a lot brighter inside the restaurant in my honest opinion, but the food more than makes up for it. I ordered the pork belly sisig plate, which comes with rice, an egg, pickled veggies and 2 Shanghai lumpia, which is quite generous. The sisig was crispy with a touch of heat (think spicy). The rice complements the flavors of the sisig really well. I ordered the brown sugar taro milk tea with boba! Solid drink. They can adjust the level of sweetness to your liking as well. There is no way this place should be near empty / slow at 3:30 pm. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely come here again. Locals, support your local restaurants!

This is such a cute little establishment that serves delicious Filipino food. Granted, I was not that hungry so I ordered 10 pc fish balls and a Mango Iced Tea with boba. The wait was a bit long though especially with a huge order right before me but it was worth the wait!! If you are not in a hurry to go anywhere and craving some Filipino food, this is a must place to stop by! There's plenty of tables for you to stay and eat too. You just don't find good Filipino food anywhere!

Our first time here since the new management took over in 2023. Hankering for Tapsilog after Sunday's church and this was the place I thought of. Got in on opening time at 12 noon just as a crew member was unlatching the door. The dining area was uncomfortably warmer than the weather, but that soon was corrected as the outdoor temperature cooled it down. Having patronized this Pinoy cafe since opening during the pandemic in 2020, we certainly have seen a change in the aesthetics. Gone are the electronic menu screens, TVs and the dark walls with prints like "Where Island Meets Urban" now replaced by a brighter scheme and hanged decor. They, however, left the "karaoke" corner that was in the original restaurant. Kultura definitely looks better now. I can't believe I haven't left a review with the previous Kultura management as they were always the place for us when wanting halo-halo, long-silog and spam-silog. Coming in today, we decided to get the following: Lechon Kawali Plate $15 (lacking lechon sauce). The teen manning the counter didn't know what "Mang Tomas" was, so we let it be. The DF pork was cooked to lechon kawali perfection. Tapsilog $16 (lacking garlic rice and lumpia). Great tasting but should've been served with the "sinangag" (garlic rice) and egg rolls (lumpia). Longsilog $13.50. Wanting and getting it. The garlic rice, atchara and lumpia were the Yin to the longanisa's Yang. The "atchara" or pickled papaya accompanying these viands were probably way tastier than the printed corn veggies on the menu. Halo-halo $9.50 had more sides compared to the previous owners. But it was smaller portioned. They were still serving using Gunther's Ice Cream, which made up for the lack in volume. Avocado Shake $6.50 with 25% sweetness, sadly lacked in flavor. It didn't taste like avocado at all, having been sourced from a powdered mix. It's not a 5-star review for now, but I bet it's going to get better when we return for the Silogs and Plates.

New ownership [Rocklin CA] I've not been to Kultura in over a year and had no idea that they are now under new ownership (coming on one year next month in April). Love the new menu... aside from the extensive options of milk tea and boba drinks they also have a nice variety of appetizers including fishball and Spam Musubi, they have popular dishes like the silogs and plate dishes... even the lechon kawali is back on the menu (which the previous owner had discontinued). I chose the Pork Adobo Plate. Lots of meat! The plate came with two scoops of rice and two pieces of Shanghai lumpia, it was a generous serving. I just think that the cream of corn served with it was a bit out of place and didn't care for it that much ¯\_('~')_/¯ I ordered the Longsilog for my hubby. He enjoyed the dish (except for the creamy corn). Silogs are good anytime of the day and not just for breakfast ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Kultura name is kept the same but the interior is much brighter with plenty of seating. Clean and enjoyable background music (karaoke style). I'll be coming here more often because not only do they offer traditional Filipino desserts but they also have... what the whutttt... bubble waffles and mochi waffles LoL! Review #1795 updated

Called into Kultura Cafe last Saturday morning inquiring about a party tray of Shanghai and Vegetable lumpia. Ricky, the owner answered and he was very personable. I placed my order by 11am and then picked up my order by 1:45pm. The lumpia Shanghai were so delicious. Cooked perfectly in between each crunch. The vegetable lumpia were also good, but I personally prefer the flavor from the pork Shanghai. The sweet and sour side sauce is a must when dipping these crunchy crunch party favorites. Kultura Cafe also serves up different rice plates and desserts. It's family owned, so be sure to stop by small business for some tasty Filipino food.

Halo-halo.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Nice and polite older Filipino staff/owners. The place was empty on a Sunday afternoon, with a couple customers coming in for to go orders. I first noticed the mini foosball table and saw another mini video arcade game, along with a few other table games. The place was clean and spotless (restroom also), with wooden tables and chairs. There was a cute photo background on the back wall. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and decided on the iced Vietnamese coffee for my husband and the "Caffeine Collision" (Thai tea and Viet coffee collab) for myself. Our drinks were ready quickly, and we decided to sit and sip for a few minutes before making our way back home. I loved my drink. I had done that same mix at a Thai restaurant Yelp event where they had set up a drink bar, so I knew it would be good. The balance of a strong Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of the Thai tea blended perfectly. Next visit I will try their halo halo or avocado shake, both of which have good reviews. I had a hunger for a sandwich, a Vietnamese one! Banh Mi. They had five basic types and I got the grilled pork. I tend to like a tofu, but that wasn't an option. We started with won tons for an appetizer. They were deep fried to a crisp. The sandwich was just OK, like everything else here. nothing special. I thought bread was a bit stale, not like I've had elsewhere. The sandwich also didn't pack mucn flavor. Overall it satisfied the hunger yet I doubt this is the high point of the menu. If I go again I'll try a Pho or a Rice Dish. I suspect they're better.
