had a good experience at dave & buster's for a large school event. overall, i had a fun time and thought it was a great spot for a group event. the food met expectations; there was chicken, pizza, and other standard arcade-style food, and it was solid for this kind of venue. i did have a bit of a mixed experience with the arcade itself. some areas were a little dirty with plates, cups, and tissues left around, although the bathrooms were very clean. despite that, i still had a great time overall. our event included the unlimited games option, which was really fun. some games were fully unlimited. some games still collected tickets. they no longer use physical tickets anymore instead everything gets loaded directly onto the game card. overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a great location, especially being right near the train. read more

Pretty small compared to other locations. Nice staff but the location looked dated and the floors were sticky and not well taken care of. I also found when I went for a special event most of the games were not working properly or not working at all. My favorite location is still the one in Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. Came here on a early Friday afternoon with the kids. It seemed that staff was just all arriving on their shifts. It took a while for our server to come take our order. Once our server came he was great. Mike was very attentive and informative with the eat and play menu options. We ordered a kids pepperoni pizza, Mountain O' Nachos and Bar Burgers & Wings Platter. The food took a while to come out but the food tasted good. The sliders tasted really good and the siracha honey wings were delicious. I love a sweet and spicy wing. The nachos were my least favorite. The chicken was very bland, the only thing that tasted good was the nachos that had the queso on it. Other than that it sure was lacking flavor. The kids pepperoni pizza was good. There is a large selection of seating area. I love that there are big TV screens throughout the restaurant and bar. You are able to see multiple sports channels all at once. I wind up getting the power card through our waiter. The arcade part has enough games to keep you entertained. I was really excited to come here for an event (they shut it down for a rave). While the event itself was awesome, and many of the staff were getting into the music and dressed up with us, this Dave & Buster's itself left a lot to be desired. The drinks were good but expensive for their size. I really liked the Spicy Hombres but that + a beer + boneless wings were $60 (not including gratuity). Wild. I also enjoyed some drink with passionfruit that was a little watered down but still good (also small). Now these wings...the boneless NASHVILLE HOT wings were so mild I could have used the sauce as contact solution. You'd think we'd get a bucket for the price too but it was very much a single serving portion. Fries came out fresh at least! We really enjoyed the variety of games that were there, but something to note was that many of the games were not active. You would approach them and there would be a sign on the scanner saying the game wasn't ready to play. This was disappointing. I think my last complaint was that the bathroom doors in the women's restroom were missing locks. Like many were. Open late which is a plus, but I likely won't be returning. read more

This place was packed during Spring Break, but extremely organized in the party sections. The General Manager was visible, courteous, and friendly. Look, it's Spring Break in NYC parents are out, campers are out, and this place is lit. Food and drinks were ready when we arrived, they kept it coming throughout our stay. Our server introduced herself (I wish I remembered het name she's corporate material) and made sure my campers were happy. I don't know if the staff was tired after 3:00 PM I Set at counter for a while before I receive a glass water no kind of welcoming or menu was given to me finally talk to the server made it clear that I wanted buffalo wings sauce on the side with blue cheese. This place never asked for id when I used to go but when I took my girlfriend for a date there this man in all black came up and asked for id, I stated I didn't have it on me and he snapped back and said " well hit the door!" he was overall very rude and unwelcoming and if Dave and busters is fine having staff like that that just goes to show how unprofessional they are. I understand we are underage but Dave and busters should welcome us as they would an 18 year old or an adult. Downtown Brooklyn has truly been a competitive area know. It's so much fun places you go could to just for a vibe with family and friends. We was welcome by staff upon our arrival. We went to the bar and was greeted by one of the employees Darius who quickly got out drink started. Then ask what we would like to eat. The arcade is fine (although many machines were out of order), but the service is terrible, it took nearly a hour to get us drinks, every frozen drink machine was apparently broken , it took us even longer to get food and as you'd expect it was mid. The only reason it gets two stars is because we liked the arcade. Update- When we had gotten to the table it was around 930 ish. Now it's 11:00 and we have just had the chance to get the check, we couldn't get it before- and knowing the pattern here I wouldn't be surprised if we got the check when the thing closes. Came here on a Sunday night only for drinks and games. Once I sat at the bar I got intrigued to try the elote cauliflower. The bartender was super quick and got our order right away. Food: They looked very appealing on the menu but once I received them, they looked very different as they lacked a presentation. Aside from that, they were ok for the price of $7. The drinks were great. We got the D&B iced tea and the spicy hombres. Ambiance: Good music with fun vibes. the games were super fun. The only thing I want to note is that the drink prices are not listed on the menu. I had no problem paying but sometimes I just want to see how much the drinks are. Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Restaurant Conditions at Dave & Buster's To Whom It May Concern, I am currently at Dave & Buster's writing this complaint on 5/15/26 regarding the extremely disappointing experience my family and I had during what was supposed to be a fun family outing. Upon arriving, we waited approximately 20 minutes before a server finally came to our table. Even after approaching us, he repeatedly walked back and forth before actually taking our order. Once the order was finally placed, several items were missing and drinks were forgotten. Although the server eventually comped our soft drinks, the overall service remained poor throughout the visit. The server never returned to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything else. His handling of the food was also very sloppy, as he placed the entire tray directly onto the table instead of properly serving the items. In addition, his appearance and grooming were unprofessional for someone serving food, as his dreadlocks were hanging over while handling customers' meals. Throughout the evening, he continuously disappeared and was difficult to locate. There was also a physical altercation between a male and female customer during our visit. I will say that security handled the situation quickly and professionally, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. David, the bartender, was very rude while taking my order and clearly needs additional customer service training on how to properly interact with guests. The cleanliness of the establishment was also unacceptable. The floor near the bar area was extremely sticky, to the point where my sneakers were sticking to the ground while walking. I also observed several staff members standing around near the drink area instead of assisting customers. The one positive experience I had during this visit was with a busboy named Deshon. He noticed that I was upset and kindly asked if there was anything he could help me with. At that moment, I told him unfortunately not because I was too upset to speak. About twenty minutes later, Deshon came back to check on me again and sincerely apologized that I was upset. He told me he would do his best to help if I needed anything. His kindness, professionalism, and compassion genuinely stood out during an otherwise terrible experience. We ended up chatting for a while, and he was honestly the sweetest person there. I truly wish him the best on his journey and believe he deserves recognition for his excellent customer service. Overall, this experience was very disappointing for my family and me. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues involving customer service, staff professionalism, and cleanliness so future guests do not have a similar experience. Dave and busters is just a better version of chucky cheese for adults. Some of my coworkers and I stopped by today for a holiday event being held by Dave and Busters. We were able to redeem one drink, sample the land and sea menu and received a $15 play card. The drinks were solid and the food was good. The staff have no smile on their faces. The host never greeted me I had to ask to get her attention and she had the onky attituse and stuck me in a corner ehere it took awhile for service staff to attend to me.. It took a half hour to get service to my table to take my order. It took 20 minutes for my drink to come out, which it came after my appetizer. I asked for blue cheese dressing twice only to be ignored. There were bugs flying around my tabke and near my drink once I received it. The electronic devices and menu were sticky. I very rarely eat her because of the issues but there were lots if tables empty so I thought perhaps the service had changed. This is not somewhere I would like to come to again. I must've got lucky today. All of the machines were in working order and between this location and the one in Times Square, both are good but I favor this location a bit more because it only takes one trip on the LIRR and it doesn't get crowded as fast as the one in the city. I don't normally come here for food but they do have a nice drink selection and the Long Island Iced Tea is a fav of mine from there. This is a nice spot to go to if you're looking for games that give you a decent return investment in tickets. I still don't trust the crane machines but that's how I feel about every one. If you want to win a plush for your kid, lady in your life or even your collection, just rack up tickets and you'll find a good selection over at the redemption center. I recommend coming here in the weekdays just before school is done for the day, you'll basically have the place to yourself. read more

Welcome to Brooklyn! This was my first experience in the fairly new location here. I was a frequent visitor to the Times Square location, but after the dramatic changes to the menu during Covid, which remained post Covid, I stopped going. I came here for the games only, in this visit. They seemed to have ample amount of games and was spacious. The Times Square location would get very congested and have long wait times for certain games. Hopefully they can revert back to their old menu, which would allow me to dine here. However, until that happens, this place will be for games only. read more

If I could give two separate ratings for this Dave and Buster's, then I would give it 5-stars for the game section and a 1-star for the restaurant section. There were so many games to play, from the classic Pac-Man to the Walking Dead. They had variety of arcade games for all ages. I had not been to a Dave and Buster's in quite awhile so I had forgotten how to activate a card but one of the staff members helped me. He was so nice and attentive and super helpful when one of the machines didn't initially work. The ambiance was fun and lively. We had a great time until we went to sit down for dessert. At first, we were told there were no more seats available even though we saw several empty tables. When we told them that we would only order dessert, they let us sit down. We ordered the chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream. I think they baked the cake because we waited 45 minutes for it. It was very rich so it satisfied our sweet tooth. I ended up with a sour taste in my mouth when it was time to pay because I was told that I would have to go follow the waiter to the cash register. I have been to the Dave and Buster's in Times Square several times for dinner and never have I had to do this before. I had to awkwardly follow the waiter behind the bar to pay and ended up almost crashing into other waiters and bartenders since it was such a busy, small spot. I was really excited when I found out there was a Dave and Buster's in Brooklyn but after that night, I recommend that you just go there for the games and have dinner elsewhere. read more

We normally like Dave and Busters for parties. However, yesterday my child got 2,688 tickets but i paid for her to do the human crane and when she cashed out her tickets for a prize the employee saw her carrying her raft that she won at the human crane,he took it away and said it gave her 1,000 more tickets but it actually took away tickets from her and only had 688 tickets remaining! She was very disappointed and I could not understand how she lost points/tickets. Also several of the games weren't working and the basketball games only had a few balls per game. I know it was a busy night but D&B needs to plan for that more effectively. read more

I absolutely love this D&B. D&B was built within the last year and it is an absolute killer location. The venue is huge, clean, and the games are better than ever. Love the HUGE wrap around bar. They've tailored this location to accommodate large parties. They even have a event party space in the back. I went last Tuesday and there were 5 birthday party's happening at once in the bar area (and it still looked empty - that's how big this location is). Definitely pop in on a Wednesday for their best deals. I've gone to this location twice now and can't wait to go back for more fun. This is such a great date night spot!! read more

Not bad. Not bad. I had the bottom lip poking out in a straight line like not bad... They ran out of a couple of thangs the Saturday night that my sister and I met to entertain our children and our Dad who flew in from the Chi. I didn't drive so I can't complain about the parking; but I will say make sure to ask questions before you go and throw your car in the lot. I didn't use the bathroom or walk all the way in to know whether or not they have bowling. I did walk in request a table and was seated on the left between two while little kid parties lmao. Those kids were HAPPY somebody had a soda fountain and I was literally like Yess! My kids are big I need no parts of this lol. But for the most part it was clean and didn't smell like wet carpet (like most kids places do) and the food wasn't bad. Not bad at all. My beer tasted a little different like maybe the CO2 levels was off on the tap but I'm no scientist I don't know how that works. What I do know is that they had managers or ppl who looked important on the way in AND on the way out so i felt safe and like I could ask questions like I like that. They need like a little tutorial on simple veggie steaming or grilling whichever they choose bc the asparagus was inedible but I wasn't upset bc that's not what I came for. I took a risk ordering the steak and didn't loose bc the char was on point and threw me off from the incorrect temperature of the steak- but I didn't expect a whole lot. Like my son ordered some burger with mushrooms and BANG that burger was perfect chefs kiss as it should be in this type of spot. The mashed potatoes tasted like somebody grandma was back there making it but it was so much butter on top like who told y'all I wanted that lol. So they took our picture which was cute and I bought one for $20 and we left it there by mistake. My sister called and promised to pick it up. So for KIDS- this spot is not bad. Was immediately seated for a party of 9 mix of kids and adults. Our server Jordan was fantastic from start to finish. While we waited for the rest our party he took our drink orders. When everyone arrived he promptly took our food ordered. We got a mix of burgers fries chicken tenders. I ordered the voodoo pasta which was BOMB!! The serving size was huge and filling. For dessert I ordered the strawberry shortcake. It was cold and delicious! For a table of 9 the bill was barely 200 dollars . An 19 percent gratuity was applied. Oh, and this total included game cards you can apply to the bill!! A lot of the machines weren't working but most were to keep the kids entertained. Would visit again and recommend. so today was my sone birthday he turned 7yrs old and I spent just about $180 on food for me and my kids. Now the waitress was some what new but was very well trained I didn't have an issue with him and the way he served me my meal. Now when it came to the manager Kevin, he was not to understandable. I ask him about singing happy birthday to my son who again just turned 7 yrs after spending dame there $200 and he gonna turn around and tell me that I need to pay for a desert and then they will sing happy birthday. I was invited by the Special Events team to sample their new holiday menu since I planned a staff outing here last year. I thought that the food was relatively good. They had catering which consisted of asparagus, salmon, rice; potato wedges, beef, pigs in a blanket and chicken wrapped in bacon. The salmon, rice and asparagus were good. The beef not so much. The location itself was pretty big! So much more room than the one in Times Square. I only saw one event space though. The service needs a bit of work particularly at the bar. I ordered a lemon drop and it took at least 20 mins for it to come to the event space. I decided to sit at the bar after the fact and no one even acknowledged me. I even asked one of the staff if I can use my ticket at the bar and she was kinda rude and they all still proceeded to ignore me.
