Been here twice for corporate events. For that purpose, I enjoy this place. Fair choices for alcoholic drinks and $2 bottles on tuesdays. The food seems a bit expensive for the value/ taste and I probably would not get any if company had not already covered the expense. Gaming also feels a bit steep but I haven't worked out the "combos" since include food and gameplay points(?) or any other specials. It is a bit confusing at first glance and I wish the packages were clearer. Service was fast and friendly so happy with that. A few colleagues with children seem to love this place and had many points on their cards for games so I'm sure there's some value for those who frequent Dave and Busters a lot. read more

I love Dave & Busters. Just like their other locations, it's a great spot to have some drinks and play some arcade games. My favorite games here were the Tomb Raider and The Walking Dead. I was also excited to see their Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots game actually worked unlike the location back home, but when I finally played it I thought it was the lamest game I played. Didn't seem to work right. My character got his head knocked up when the other fighter was nowhere near me. Even though my fighter lost, it would give me the win. So the game is still somewhat broken here too! Staff was cool. I didn't try any food (already ate) or drinks (designated driver) while here but had fun playing games with friends. Tip: It can get stuffy in here after a while. If I could leave no stars I would, the manager and host was very rude (at the restaurant area). They separated our party with two different servers which made it hard on us and some of us had to sit at the bar because there was no space for them. There were many other tables available that they could push together but they refused and wouldn't let us sit all together unless we agreed to be put back on the waitlist after already waiting an hour. They told us that a party of 20 was too "overwhelming" for the server which made it more difficult for our party. We decided to stop in and have dinner and play some games last Friday. We had dinner before going to play games. The food was good however we waited for 42 min for a boozy milkshake. The sever apologized about the delay and offered a 15$ game card as compensation. It would be nice if they had a deal that would offer a dinner/game card combo for a reduced price. This place is great for a fun day or to kill some time. Prices are very reasonable for the games with a huge selection to choose from! They have many sport based games, racing games, shooting games and games to test your luck and skill to earn tickets that you can redeem for prizes. I have been many times and love testing my competitive and skill level with my friends. If you visit on a Wednesday all of the games are half price so you get more bang for your buck! Two of my favorite games is monopoly and space invaders. If you play 2 people on space invaders I find it fairly easy to hit the high score and earn the 500 bonus tickets each. This past visit me and my buddy managed to hit it 3 times in a row. Everyday during the week I believe they have specials going on for games or drinks. I have tried a couple different signature D&B drinks at this location and are impressed with the size and liquor content. They do use a fair share of alcohol unlike most places I find. I have only had the nachos from the food menu but really enjoyed them and was enough to share with 2-3 people. This location is always kept very clean with very polite and attentive staff always on duty! The prize store that you redeem your tickets is packed with things for all ages. They have drinking games, shot glasses, ray bans, kids toys, blenders and keurigs, to simple little things like candy and basket balls. I by far feel like Dave and busters is the best arcade in the greater Austin area. Have a huge selections of games, as well as I found the prices fairly reasonable. They also offer coupons online, as well as half price game days, where honestly can't go wrong. I've noticed every visit they have a few new games which are always one free play per day which come on, who doesn't love a free game. They also have fairly decent prizes, that are actually fairly easy to claim. One visit I made 6000 tickets on 40 dollars. I've been to plenty of arcades and not to many had that kind of turn outs. They also have a big sports bar area where you can relax and drink and eat, before or after you game, though I haven't tried the food yet. Spent $153 together with me, my mother, and two children. I had the salmon dinner, she had two (weak) margaritas and nachos, we purchased an appetizer, and the boys got pizza and two sodas. Oh. And the tokens were included in the bill $46. I would not have been so bothered by this amount of money I paid if we did not have to wait an hour for our food, repeatedly ask our waiter for napkins, straws, and refills, also I received such low quantities, low qualities of food on my plate, and the fact that 300 tokens only gets you a slinky, small bouncy ball, and 4 hand stickies. I will not be returning and I will make sure to tell others as well, complete waste of money. On a positive note the games were nice and my boys had the time of their lives. I go to Dave & Buster's every time there's a UFC fight on. In all the times I've gone, they've only once charged a cover, which was for Conor v Khabib. The food is pretty good for a chain and the bartenders are attentive and friendly. I've been a few other places in fight nights, but D&B is always my favorite atmosphere. MY 19 year old daughter wanted to go here for her Birthday. Since they opened at 10am, we got there then. There was sign that said see bartender to be seated. We waited there for 10 minutes and no one came. Even though we saw a lady walking around, she did not tell us anything. Finally the lady went to the front desk and moved the sign, she never told us she was going to and just left us at the bar. So we went down to see her. This lady, Brooke, was so rude and would not make eye contact. She told us to sit down and a server would be with us. After waiting 20 minutes, I went back and asked her if someone was working, that no one has come to see what we wanted and we had not seen anyone either. She rudely said there should be someone there, but I will call someone to help you. Well, we waited another 15 minutes and no one. The bartender finally showed up. A lady went up and told him the same thing. That several tables were waiting to be helped. Now we have been here for 45 minutes. The bartender said he would go and get someone, but he would help us in the meantime, but he had to get his cash drawer ready first. While he was doing that, the lady and I were talking, she said gosh, the lady up front was extremely rude. I told her she was rude to us as well. I told her that we got there at 10am because we were meeting people at the lake later for my daughters Birthday. Which after all of this, we were late getting to Lake Granger. Was not happy about that!!! The bartender did help us, he was very nice and took good care of us. This is why I did not give it a 1 star. 4 of us got the slider/rib meal. The ribs were so dry that I could not eat them. Sliders were good. My oldest daughter got the chicken tacos and they were delicious. Someone needs to do something about his Brooke lady. I own a business and I would not put up with this, PERIOD! I am really disappointed that we got there at 10am and were not waited on until 10:50. What is the point of opening at 10am if you are not going to have staff to help you. We could not even play games because we were doing the package deal with the food. So we could not kill time waiting for someone. We just sat at a table waiting and waiting....Waiting that long made us late with our friends at the lake. So I was extremely upset about that..... Burger was tasty but they committed the cardinal sin by putting the condiments on the bottom. The bottom bun didn't stand a chance & fell apart after the first bite. My bartender was also probably the slowest most non attentive bartender I have had in a while. Maybe he was new or poorly trained so can't put all the blame on him. I have been to this location twice now and I am definitely a fan! Yesterday we had our work holiday party here and it was a blast! There were only about 15 of us and there was hardly anyone there at lunch time in the middle of the week. We got there at 11 am right as they opened up. The service was great for the size of our group too. We all made our orders and were provided a game card. The food at Dave and Buster's is usually pretty decent. Yesterday I decided to go with the BBBacon Burger and it was good! I asked for it to be cooked medium, but it was more medium well, but that wasn't a huge issue for me. The Philly cheesesteak and the Cave Man meal seemed to be hits with the group. The Cave Man was burger sliders with ribs in a bucket on top of fries. I heard it was good. I also had a delicious frozen margarita. Now my favorite thing about Dave and Buster's is the games! I noticed a couple of new games this time I had never played before such as the piano game and Mario Kart which were both fun. My ultimate addiction is the stupid coin drop push game. I can play that game for hours! It's a little more expensive to play but the payout is bigger in the end with the tickets I think. I had a game card with $15 on it and then I recharged with $25 of my own money. I ended up with around 1500 tickets on my card. I walked out with a Batman soup/cereal bowl and some candy. I am already loving my Batman bowl! I love the remodel with the new dining areas, sports lounge and bar. I have never been during peak times here so I am not sure what that's like, but during the day in the middle of the week when I should be working - I say YES to this place! read more

Who knows without an Excel sheet.), bad service, overpriced food and weak sugary drinks, is an unfortunate biennial occurrence when friends, family or corporate outings make the mistake of landing here. A mistake that is usually not repeated by the same group. Let's put it this way: my team of 12 at work voted nearly unanimously to come here in 2018. Brought my kids here early in the day to beat the crowd. However I was extremely disappointed in the lack of disinfecting. I spent about 2.5 hours here and I didn't see anyone wipe down or disinfect the game machines. Also there were no temp checks and as it got later in the evening and more people showed up, the staff allowed customers to walk around the arcade floor with no mask. They did provide hand sanitizer outside of the bathroom, but they should at least spray the machines with some sort of disinfectant especially since they aren't checking temps at the door. So i would suggest that you bring your own disinfectant wipes for your kiddos if you are going to this location. Sadly I probably won't go back. read more

Went to Dave and Busters on a Sunday afternoon. Walked in and was told it was open seating, so we grabbed a booth by the arcade to keep an eye on our kids. We waited for about 15 minutes without any server contact, and confused, I went back up to the front to ask if we were supposed to order at the bar. The hostess told us she'd send a server over. Server eventually came and took drink order, drinks came quick, but then server disappeared for over 30 minutes. I eventually found him standing at the bar talking with the other server, I brought my now crying hungry baby over to him and ordered there. Very frustrating. Food came, and order was wrong, cheese pizza had pepperoni. We sent it back and this was quickly corrected. Overall, very disappointing experience, kids had fun, but even they were let down with the limited arcade store choices. Seems very poorly managed, if service is this bad on a slow day, I'd hate to see it crowded. Will not be back. read more

I was hesitant to have our daughter's 4 year birthday celebration here, feeling that it's actually more a tween through adult aged place and wondering if she'd need constant coddling and coaxing to have a good time. But... we were only planning to have one other kid attend due to a series of unfortunate events; Thus I was pretty much planning a 4 year old birthday party which needed to entertain two little girls and the rest were all adults. Dave & Busters fit the bill. First, their kids' birthday packages are very affordable. We bought a package for 10 kids, and I did explain that the majority of my guests would be adults. They were fine, it's a family style meal served with the birthday packages with a set amount in the portions. So we were able to feed the kids and adult guests all the kiddy food, birthday girl was happy, then we just tacked on the alcohol and special orders. The total bill came out to just over $200.00 with six adults each having bar drinks. The games - eh, that's not my cup of tea, but I can say that the arcade is huge and the kid had a blast. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Our service was great, both from our waiter and from the manager who personally checked on our party multiple times, answered all our questions, gave us complimentary gaming cards for our next visit - which will be tonight - and personally delivered the tab to make sure everything was satisfactory. I like the atmosphere and think it's a great family friendly spot when you have wide age gaps - this can accommodate the beer drinkers, the sports fans, the kids young and old, and they have fancy cocktails and even Proseco for the ladies. Honestly, it's a pretty good time and we left all smiles. And... I'm not gonna lie... Last time I went I ordered the $25 play and eat combo. My cheesesteak came out and after eating half of it I noticed a CockRoach crawling around on the food. (my friend actually uploaded it, you can see it if you click on pictures) I alerted the waitress who went to the back room. after 5 min she came back and said she would deduct 7 bucks off my combo bill. so I paid 18 bucks for a meal where i didnt really eat or get full, the beer now tasted like piss and I got 30 dollars worth of gaming i didnt want to play. to top it all off the manager didnt even come out to apologize. You don't win it with a magical golden token or a perfect score at ski ball. Here is the secret. The wife and I were sitting at the bar minding our own business; chatting occasionally with our bartender. He walks around the corner for a few minutes, then Jenny notices drunky Mcdrunk sorority girl looking a little pale. She grabs on to a couple of chairs stumbling away from us and finally starts to look really ill. The bartender was making his way back around when Jenny screamed shes gonna loose it! The bartender in what I can describe as the perfect Sam Malone trash can slide pushed it out from behind the bar under the girl just in time for the "spillage" Not one drop on the floor! Thankful that he did not have to clean up that mess, we didn't pay a dime for drinks the rest of the night! D&B is OK in our book, food is OK, drinks were great! This was my first dave and busters I had been to in the early 2000s. I had a chance to check it out just this weekend. After being to many other Dave and busters nationwide I can say a few things about this location. First it is smaller or so it seems. There is no video games in the winner circle. There is plenty of other things you can win and just depends on your cup of tea and or how many tickets you win. This location wasn't busy for a Saturday. I think that actually Austinites go out and enjoy the weather unlike the northeast people that I am use to. I learned that you can watch the UFC fights for free here. Not a lot of places do that so definitely a score in my book. I didn't here this time so I can't comment on the food. The beer was decent as they had my favorite: Stella. read more

Had a horrible experience yesterday at D&B. We have been coming to this establishment for years now..I don't know what the recent change was but it's horrible now. A took a long time to place or food order, a long time to get it...once I get my, the ribs tastes like crap. My son said his burger tasted bad and my fiancé didn't even get her order. Once we told the waitress, she had forgotten to put the order in. When she finally brought out the salad, everyone was already done eating. The manager did comp the salad but even with that, the bill was outrageous. We paid for it and left the arcade. The men's restroom was dirty and I could tell the floor hadn't been mopped that day, piss everywhere. Some of the best games were out of service. We just decided to leave. We won't be going back to D&B for a loooong while. 10-20-18. Came back a year later...nothing has changed. We had a large party and i was not aware we couldn't make reservations. So we show up and the two hostess tell us we are the 5th group in line. When it came to be our turn, the same two hostess tell us there isn't any tables and servers available for us. What?!? There are clearly two large tables that were made from multiple small tables available. We point those tables out and they stated their tab was still open...even though the tables appeared to be cleaned up and ready to seat others. She tells me these tables only have 6 chairs and asks me if I wanted elbow room or not? I informed them there was not 6 chairs but more like 16 chairs. Still. They became rude and told us to wait. Okay...we stand by and they finally see the tables we are talking about. After waiting some more, they clearly see me standing there. They know what group I'm with because they keep talking with each other and looking over at me. Instead of telling the tables were ready, the text my sisters phone to inform us there ready. Fine. We go up to them and they don't even all us to the tables. Later we noticed that they walked everyone else to their tables. So we are getting seated and a waitress by the name of ROSE comes over and tells us that their are short handed and there is nobody available to take any of our orders, including our drink order...and then walks away. ARE YOU SERIOUS? We decided to stay at DnB because we had a lot of teenagers that were looking forward to playing the arcades. We looked for a manager and located a female manager and informed her of the incident. This manager was the sweetest person ever. The manager was very surprised and apologetic. She stated there was no shortage of staff and would locate someone for us or she would take the order herself. A nice male waiter came and started to take our order. Then Rose comes back and asks the waiter why he's serving us. Yes! Loud enough so we could I hear her. He tells her he was told to and she makes an angry face and walks away only to return a few minutes later. Rose tells the waiter that she would take our order and made him leave. Here is where I messed up I should've asked for her to leave and the new waiter to stay but I didn't. Rose gave us some attitude throughout the night and she was very unhappy when she told us we were getting complimentary churros for the inconvenience. This girl Rose and the hostesses need to find another job that they don't have to talk with customers. I can only describe the hostesses and a black female and a white female that looked like she woke up late, threw on her work clothes, and went to work. So maybe we will give this place another shot in a year...or just go to Main Event next time. read more

My husband has to walk around to look for a server. Then my daughter left a birthday gift at our table. When going straight to the game area, this place was small. The smallest I've ever been. Miami D&B is way bigger than this and it's in a mall. I was a little shocked. We didn't eat there. I had to dunk them in ranch because they were so dry. The ribs were the worst I've ever had.
